Annemosea, also known as Eight Tentacle Coral Spirit Beast, is a Water-type Spirit Beast. It was the evolved form of Seamone, the Hidden Coral Bug Spirit Beast. Its ability to turn invisible is not a move but an inherent feature.
It can adjust the nanocrystals on its skin's surface to change colors upon contact with an object, effectively achieving invisibility.
Riley looked at the introduction of Annemosea with a puzzled expression.
Doesn't its like a chameleon?
But in the world of Spirit Beasts, it's a different story. In his previous life, chameleons couldn't achieve such an exaggerated effect.
Except for the lowet half of the Annemosea, which was attached to the man with the square face on the bus, the remaining eight tentacles were suspended in the air.
Despite being in close proximity to so many people on the bus, not a single person had noticed.
With this in mind, Riley searched for more information about Annemosea.
After browsing for five minutes, a look of confusion crossed his eyes.
There was nothing.
None of the content explained why Annemosea's presence could suddenly disappeared.
At first, while he was on the bus, he briefly thought that the man with the square face had recalled his Spirit Beast into the Beast Tamer Codex.
But when a Spirit Beast is recalled into the Codex, a faint light will appears on the Spirit Beast's body. If that were the case, everyone on the bus would have seen it. So It's was an evident that Annemosea was not recalled.
So, when the man with the square face wanted to get off the bus, he paid special attention to him.
If the scent wasn't disappeared, why did Fire Dog can suddenly detect it and then not detect it after that?
The man with the square face was standing in the middle of the bus, just two people away from him. There's no way Fire Dog couldn't have detected it at such close range.
But Fire Dog claimed that the presence of Annemosea suddenly appeared and then disappeared.
If the Annemosea had been on the man's body all along, so how could it presence suddenly appear and dissapear?
Was Fire Dog's sense of smell not that very keen?
Did it only notice upon closer inspection?
"Bark...achoo!"
Suddenly, Fire Dog sneezed.
Riley pondered for a long time but couldn't figure it out, so he decided to post a question on the forum.
This is where the value of the forum truly shines.
Not long after, someone provided an answer to her question.
[ Isn't it just Concealment move? ]
[ How could it be Concealment? Concealment move doesn't suddenly appear and dissapear; there should be at least a minute's interval. ]
[ Maybe the Spirit Beast Concealment move is just not very good at it? ]
[ I think the person above has a point. ]
[ When my Tarmirus was just starting to practice Concealment movr, its presence disappeared for about 2 seconds. ]
[ Online Concealment move lessons, only 998! Just 998! Just 998! ]
[ OP, don't fall for it; the person above is a scammer! ]
Riley suddenly realized. Of course, it's Concealment! Besides moves, what else could explain these inexplicable phenomena? Concealment is a move that is hardly needed in everyday life, so it's no wonder he hadn't thought of it.
If Fire Dog had a move like Sandstorm to obscure the field of vision of enemy and combine it Concealment to make its presence dissapear, it would be a formidable combination.
Unfortunately, it didn't possess such a move.
For now, there was no need for Fire Dog to learn this move. Riley closed his computer and looked at Fire Dog.
He hadn't forgotten what he had planned for the evening.
"Fire Dog, use Fire Fang as many times as you can."
"Bark."
Although Fire Dog didn't fully understand its Beast Tamer's intentions, it obediently nodded.
Three minutes later, Fire Dog was panting on the ground.
Riley counted and realized it had used Fire Fang 13 times.
More than he had expected, but it could be due to having just consumed a SpiritBlock.
Just as Riley was about to check in the Beast Tamer Codex, Fire Dog weakly called out, "Bark..."
Riley immediately understood, he got up, and went to the kitchen, taking two Inca Berry from the refrigerator. He squeezed them into a bowl to make juice.
Since his mother had bought another six Inca Berrys after the previous six were finished, Riley had been more cautious this time, allowing Fire Dog to have one every two days.
Eating 700 League Coins for each of berry is really too much and it wasn't practical to have them every day.
However today, Fire Dog had gone through training a lot, so Riley couldn't resist taking out two Inca Berry. With his current significant stash of 50,000 League Coins, so he could afford to be a little extravagant.
Fire Dog held the bowl with its two front paws and happily slurped up the juice. When it was done and content, it let out a satisfied bark.
Riley couldn't help but smile as he watched Fire Dog's cheerful demeanor. He reached out to pat its head.
