"Surprised," he smiled cunningly.
"How on earth are you my fiancé?" she yelled, unable to comprehend.
"Not yet, I haven't engaged you yet. There is no ring on your finger, but soon there will be," he emphasized.
"Dawson," she said his name in a daze.
"What do you want, Rissa?" he asked.
"How can you be my fiancé? This feels like a game, like you're playing tricks on me. Or maybe, just maybe, I arrived at the wrong table," she clarified, her mind filled with confusion and disbelief.
"I'm glad I can share some information with you," he said with a sly smile.
Marrissa felt uncertain but eventually took a seat.
