During his travels he had followed the map that had been found in the hut. Lucas managed to reach an entrance to the village just by locating the direction by his instincts and with the slight bit of hint that was in the map. Being proud of himself, he entered the village. He was worried about the village that is in the dangerous woods. Thinking about what he had to fight in the woods, Lucas hoped that he could find some people in the village. He felt lingering fatigue on his body and looked for a place to rest. As he looked for a place to take a rest, the air carried the scent of freshly baked bread, and the soft murmur of friendly conversations tickled Lucas' ears. He was relieved that the village had people in the street. He was also happy to find a human being in this world, he continued down the street. A warm smile adorned the kind face of a villager watering a flower. As Lucas approached her to ask some questions, the villager asked gently, "What brings you here?" Lucas was grateful for the kind greeting. He answered with a smile, "I am a wandering traveler." Lucas continued. "I've been traveling for some time. Do you know of any good places to rest?" The villager replied kindly, her voice carrying gentle warmth. "Welcome traveler. You have come to our village at a good time. We have an open inn where travelers like you can find comfort. Follow me, and I will show you the way." Lucas followed the villager named Eliza. Lucas followed Eliza as she led him through the village. The cottages, with their vibrant flowers, and the sounds of laughter and friendly conversations, created a peaceful atmosphere. Lucas couldn't help but admire the simple beauty of the village.
Reaching the entrance of a cozy inn, Lucas was greeted by Samuel, the innkeeper. Samuel welcomed him nicely, assuring him that he had come to the right place for rest and relaxation. The inn's interior was inviting, the aroma of delicious food and tea filling the air. Travelers from different places shared stories of their own adventures, creating a lively atmosphere. As Lucas settled into a comfortable corner of the inn, Samuel approached him with a cup of steaming tea. "So, what brings you to our village?" Samuel asked, his friendly eyes sparkling. Taking a sip of the tea. He replied with a grateful smile, "I'm on a journey of discovery and purpose. I'm seeking answers and trying to find my place in this world." Samuel nodded with a smile. "You've come to a village of harmony," he said. "While we may not have all the answers, our village is a fine one to live in. You should stay here for the night. It's getting late here" Lucas asked the innkeeper. "How much for the day?"
"5 sliver per day, additional 1 silver for breakfast."
"Alright."
Lucas placed the three coins down on the table. In exchange, Samuel grabs the hanging iron key handed to Lucas. "Go to the second floor door. One on the far right." He said with a yawn. ."Have a good night!" Samuel walked into one of the rooms. Lucas said goodbye to him and looked outside. Since it was night outside, he decided to get some rest also. He slowly walked to his room on the second floor. The second floor hallway was filled with doors. He opened up the door on the far right side. Lucas was feeling exhausted so he went straight to bed. While lying in bed he cleared up his thoughts. With the five silver coins for the night. He can stay comfortably for about two days before his remaining coins disappear. He saw a fairy in the corner of his eye. Out of curiosity Lucas had questions that he wanted to ask but he was too tired to stay awake. He closed his eyes in the cozy bed. Resting his body for the next day.
The next day, as Lucas descended the staircase, he saw Samuel sitting at the counter. Lucas glanced at the fairy while walking closer to Samuel.
"Good morning, Samuel," Lucas said.
"By any chance do you see this?" Lucas pointed at the fairy.
"See what Lucas? I don't see anything there."
Confused, Samuel furrowed his brow and leaned in closer, trying to see what Lucas was pointing at. However, there was nothing visible to his eyes. "I'm sorry, Lucas," Samuel said with a puzzled expression. "I don't see anything there. You alright, pal?" Lucas realized that the fairy remained invisible to Samuel and the other villagers. He nodded, understanding that it was a sight only he could behold. "I'm fine, Samuel," Lucas replied with a reassuring smile. "It seems that this little creature is only visible to me." Samuel's confusion turned into curiosity. "A creature only you can see? That's quite remarkable," he remarked, his eyes widening with intrigue. "Tell me, Lucas, what is this creature?" Lucas paused for a moment, considering how much to reveal. He decided to share a bit about the fairy without divulging all the details. "It's a mysterious companion that has been guiding me on my journey," he explained. "Though I don't fully understand its purpose yet, it has provided me with subtle guidance and assistance." Samuel nodded thoughtfully. "It sounds like you've been blessed with a unique companion, Lucas," he said, his voice filled with excitement. "If it's aiding you in your journey, it sounds like a fairy." Lucas was surprised by Samuel's response. "You know about fairies?" Lucas asked, his eyes widening in astonishment. Samuel nodded. "Yes, I've heard tales of them before," he replied. "Fairies are said to be elusive beings, only visible to a select few who are chosen by nature. They possess magical abilities and act as guardians and guides to those they deem worthy."
"Are there any chances it can be dangerous?" Lucas asked with a worry on his face. Samuel, listening to his question, burst into laughter. "Ha ha! Fairy being dangerous? You must be joking!" Lucas smiled awkwardly back, at the same time he was relieved that the fairy that had followed him since the beginning was a harmless creature.
The fairy stared at Lucas. "I've been helping you from the start." The fairy said with disappointment. Lucas felt a little disappointment in her voice but decided to ignore it. Lucas continued to ask Samuel another question that was in his mind. "Forget about the fairy Samuel, do you know any place for me to earn some money here?" Lucas questioned with a renewed determination to find a way to earn more money. "Yes, I do," Samuel replied. "You can hunt the animals around the wood. Most of the animals near this wood are stronger than the normal forest. Stronger means they have better stuff that can come out of them. You could kill and sell those animals to obtain some basic amount of money." Lucas thought about the interaction in the wood.
"Where do I sell the animal's body? " Lucas said.
"To the Guild Center."
"Guild Center?"
"Yes, a Guild Center it's at the village square."
Samuel walked away to greet the new customer that just entered. Thanking Samuel for the information, Lucas bid him farewell and made his way towards the village square.
