On the dire moment of the fight,a powerful kick from a black suited man was able to dismantle the masked man from Rob's body. The kick was equal to ten heavy punch all together but still the masked man was able to escape although seriously injured. Who knows it would have been a very different story for Rob if not for the miraculous entering of Gen Maldini.
Gen Maldini was meant to meet Rob that night hence his entrance was timed
Rob was injured,the masked man was very trained and strong. He just has just escaped two assassination that night. He was then helped up by Gen Maldini who helped him to remove the dagger that was stuck inside his arm. He also massaged and treated his wounds.
Rob was on one of the sits and immediately he saw an amulet ,it must be from the assassin he thought. He picked it up and saw some strange markings on it,he then asked Maldini who on close observation told him that it was from the Tons.
The Tons had an ancestry god "Merkuza" which they believe protects and provide for them. They always had the symbol of they god on everything there had. This was also they company logo,a two phoenix bird interwoven together and in between them a long serpent.The family also have their own assassins called the "Shigawas". These were extremely training Individuals that eliminate people in different ways from sniper shots, physical combats,ambush, accident setting , poisoning and to name a few.
The Tons were powerful people,even the Maniks and Landsteins knew this. They were only limited due to the presence of the other two power house, Maniks and Landsteins. Gen Maldini was once given an assignment to deliver a message to them from Diego long time ago hence he was able to remember the symbol .
"What have you done master,that brings the assassins of Tons to you?"he asked. Rob couldn't think of how he have hurt anyone relating to Tons .'Could it be Daniel,no it can't be,he is not that sophisticated'he thought. He was yet to learn his lesson,he still underates Daniel,to him he was so innocent to be from such family despite what he witnessed a day ago.
He then called his secretary with the sole assignment to find out everything he knows about the Tons. He was then taken to the hospital by Gen Maldini.
Rob was discharged the next day as he readied himself for the task ahead,an assassin that was sent to kill him was still on the lose. He was instructed by Gen Maldini to be careful and to lay low. He knew that his life was in danger and had to react immediately to save the situation.
The two most important people that he cares about outside his family were seriously injured,he had to make them pay or die trying. He went to the Hopkins hospital,both Johanna and Domenico was admitted there. After having some good moments with them he got a cab and left for his apartment.
"Let him in"Mr Jamal Landstein ordered as he sip his creamy coffee. He sat comfortably on his big maghony sit in a leg crossed position. "Good morning sir"a young man greeted as he bowed. He continued"sir we were able to get the name of the perpetrator "as he gives him a picture and a name on it. "Hmmm, ha Robinson Luther,what do we know about him?"he asked.
The young man replies"he is a student of Lontor University and is in his penultimate year in department of Business management. He is also an orphan". "Good job,you can now go"he ordered the young man. "Rest in peace"he commented as he burn the picture with a lighter. It have been three months since Magi was admitted to hospital but his recovery was getting better though.
Trim,trim!a sound emanates from Rob's phone. It alerted him,he was having a nice nap at his apartment after he was discharged from the hospital. His apartment was already taken care of by Gen Maldini before he left. His hand was tied up with bandage and his face with some bruises. He groans as he got up from his comfortable sofa and reached out for his phone. He input his password and went straight to the notification bar,it was a message from Miss Elena. He then went through the message,it was his assignment to her about the Tons.
He was wrong, Daniel was the only son of Ronald Ton,after going through it he understood why they were after him. At the time he wasn't sure of what to do, just then his phone dinged again,it was another message from Miss Elena. It was another report from Elena concerning the Tons but this time it emphasized on all the crimes they committed and how they got away with it. Now he was sure of what to do all thanks to his able secretary.
"Sir someone wants to see you"a suited man voices. "Who is that!?"a man who was taking his bath shouted. "He said his name is Jubo". "Jubo,tell him to wait for me in the visitors room". After his bath still on his towel he went straight to the visitors room hoping for an exciting news,it is Ronald Tons.
On approaching Jubo,his facial expression said it all,it was a failed mission at least for now. "What the fuck happened?"he asked furiously as he flinched his fist."I am sorry sir but he was very strong and he also had help"he replied. "So what now?"he asked rhetorically." We go smart,I don't care about the method all I want is to see him dead"he shouted. "Yes sir"Jubo replied as he proceed to the door."Jubo!","Sir","Don't come back if you don't have him down"he threatened as Jubo leaves.
