Jubo is one of Mr Ronald trusted men,his reputation precedes him. He was once rumored to kill five able bodied men with a fucking pencil. His strength coupled with his intelligence made him a very popular and dreadful folk among the dark world (the drug and dirty business world). He was now given an ultimatum to kill Rob after his failed attempt. He did understand that it was either his or Rob's head,it was a battle of survival.
Rob on the other hand was for the first time beaten up by a fellow man in a physical combat. He now knew that his opponent was not a joke,he is strong and hard as a stone. He indulged himself in some physical exercises in order to build his fitness. Rob had since his teenage age trained by Gen. Maldini to defend and protect himself and those that he loved. It was a prerequisite for every Manik,both boys and girls to be properly trained.
Reading through the report sent to him by his secretary Miss Elena he was able to see the evil deeds of the Tons company to other smaller companies. As he went through the files his phone ranged it was an unknown number. He wanted to snub the call but optioned to pick it.
"Hello"a woman voice emanates from the phone,"please am I speaking with Mr Luther?". "It depends on who is asking"Rob replied trying to know if he has heard the voice before. " Mr Luther, I am Francisca Lopez"she answered." Forgive me please but I think you are calling the wrong person". "Hmmm, finally not good at something,the lady from the Auction","the Telecommunication lady?"Rob asked still not very sure. "Yeah, you got it, please can we meet, is kinda urgent, forgive my impromptu". "Where?", "Rush cafe,Swiss street by 9am"she responded.
Rob was really confused,he did really have a pressing issues and now this. He prepared and left for Swiss street,it wasn't quite far from Royale street,it was a 20 minutes journey.
On reaching the Cafe he first surveyed the environment before entering inside,he was very conscious of his security. He looked around and then saw a lady raising up her hand indicating her position. She was flagged by a masculine man suited in black suit with a black eyeglass,it must be her guard.
He moved close to them and greeted as she too stood up. "Please have a sit"as she gestures to the direction of the sit. "Coffee?"she asked,"no thanks", "not a fan of coffee ha"she commented "actually yes". "I am sorry for disturbing you but I seriously do need your help "she apologized.
"I am sorry but don't you think that you are with the wrong person "Rob replied as he strain his face. She smiled"you may be a ghost but I know when one is capable of doing things even beyond what they project to people to see". "Rob was once again impressed by her intuition and wisdom,her husband must be a lucky man he thought to himself.
"Let assume that I am that kind of person, what do you want me to help you with?". She chuckles and continued "My little company is being threatened by a big fish,the Tons telecommunication company, i am sure you must have heard about them". She paused as she studied Rob to know if she is actually getting his attention. "My company have done nothing to them but Mr Ronald is head bent on bringing us down and if possible amass the company".
Rob listened with crept attention,at the mention of the Tons he couldn't help but think if all this was a coincidence or just fate playing it's card either way he must reach to the end of the matter.
" I still don't understand why you think I should be of any help,I mean judging from what you said these guys are big guns"he was caught short by her"I don't know, maybe I am desperate,all I want is for you to help me give a shot against this guys"she pleaded. Rob was touched but still he didn't promised her anything but assured her that he will surely do something about it.
On leaving he texted his secretary telling her to look into Mrs Francisca Lopez. He was very surprised about her confidence towards him,he wanted to be sure of he was about to help.
Francisca was Ronald's junior during they University times but were in the same University. They were entirely two different beings but they exceptional brilliance and expertise in telecommunication brought them together. They relationship was at first platonic until Mr Ronald began to fall for her but that could not be said for Francisca who already had a boyfriend. They relationship hit a bottom rock before Ronald graduated from school.
They came to cross path again when Francisca came looking for a job in which he hired her but Ronald was not a man that quits easily. He kept on pestering her even though he did had a wife then. She then threatened to report him to his wife if he continued pestering him so he framed her and sacked her. He didn't stop there, he went as far as making sure that she won't be hired anywhere else.
Luckily for Francisca she married a very wealthy man who helped her establish her own company and since then her company continued to grow and is now among the top 5 best telecommunication company in the country. Mr Ronald Tons saw her as a threat and wanted her out of the way especially when they named her company the best for two years straight hence he was looking for means of getting her company to himself or crushing it . It would have been more difficult for him if Francisca husband was still alive,he died of cancer.
Rob was her only hope to curb a rogue lion that is out to hunt .
