The whole valley was in chaos. Though the valley was small, to some it felt like the entire universe was rupturing in fury. Only to be preceded by a giant worm bursting in the air barely reaching the height of the tree canopy only to crash down into the soil.
It's tail still in the hole it came out of, showing just how long the specimen is. While birds can only dream of having the biggest worm for themselves, this worm was... freighting causing all the birds to scatter.
But Jörm paid no head to them and instead flailed around the ground destroying everything insight. Tides of dirt and rock spewed in every direction. Triggering small but lethal rockslides to roar in symphony.
Coiling and destroying, Jörm called for battle. The agony drove Jörm into madness with only one thing on its mind. Destroy

With that, the eyes of [The King of the valley] opened. And battle was inevitable.
...
The tide was wearing off, and Quinn's agony shifted into acceptance. He was going to loose his grip before the current died.
'It's alright. Death is inevitable. right!? Why be afraid of it? There's nothing to be afraid of...' Quinn's body shivered. 'Fuck no I'm not ready. This life sucks. I've just been pushed around by the [System], that worm and every other thing that is annoyingly strong.
I don't want to die!!'
Quinn tried hang on for a little longer. Just to survive a little longer. And that little longer didn't work.
Quinn's tail finally gave in and he went flying down the flow of the stream of liquid earth. However instead of being slammed into the rock, Quinn merely scrapped it after the current pushed him aside right into the creek running down the valley.
A creek full of spawning trout.
'Okay I might've not died but I'm for sure going to die now'
Quinn's limited visibility through his "eyes" (If you could call them that) made him unsure of when he would get snagged. [Tremor Sense] was also useless because of the constant vibrations Jörm was creating.
Perhaps that is why Quinn floated and tumbled down the creek without a single encounter with a trout. On the contrary, Quinn tried swim ashore by flailing his worm like body perpendicular to the flow. But atlas to no avail.
'I'm stuck, This is bs... how the hell am I meant to get out of this. Wait.. something's coming'
Through [Tremor Sense] Quinn could accurately pinpoint a mass of some sort rolling mass was heading for the part of the stream he was about the enter.
'I'm gonna be cover in dirt and I can dig my w...'
Quinn's planning was interrupted by something loud. So loud it cause tremors to permeate throughout the earth and into the water Quinn was in.
His mind froze.

His body moved on it's on. The flailing continued by aimed downstream. But this time there was clear intent. Purpose behind each swing of Quinn's tail.
A battle was starting and Quinn wanted... no NEEDED to get away.

Another roar permeated throughout the valley and beyond but this time it was louder, harder and with such intent it even killed a few unlucky worms and bugs near the source. For Quinn it felt like his whole body almost split in half.
Perhaps the Bear was getting closer or it was getting more violet and ready for battle. Either way Quinn Didn't think and instead swam with all his might until the landslide the was meant to be his rescue splashed him out of the water.
Like a fish out of water he flopped and flailed before landing on the creek bed and bouncing back in. And swimming off with all his might.

With bared fangs Kuma took a bite at the goliath worm. It was trespassing on his valley after all. However this worm had a familiar aura. Like the earth itself came to steal all the Dark Pine for itself. But something was wrong
'Bad. Me no like' -K
The worm didn't react to Kuma's claws or bite only flinching a little at it's roar.
'Big roar' -K
Kuma put everything into it. Instantly killing most of the blood worms crawling around in the Goliath worm. Now Jörm, in less pain, turned it's attention to the threat. The Frenzied feeling overwhelming it's consciousness, discarding any risk factor for fighting the king.
And Kuma felt it.
'Fight earth seek, fight earth get' -K
