"Evangeline, we heard you were leaving the islands for the check-up. Do you want any of us to accompany you?" The Director of the drama walked forward, a tinge of guilt on his face as he looked at the girl who was limping and holding the hand of her manager.
"That's okay. I remember we still have the song to record here. If the results come alright, I will return by evening to record the song since you wanted me to sing it," Evangeline said, and the more obedient and lenient she appeared, the guiltier he felt.
"You don't have to stress about it. We can record the song later. Last night, we noticed that some of the scenes were a bit off-putting, and we will ask Su Ming and George to reenact them. You can take this day off," The director said, his gaze shifted to the boss, who was talking to someone over the call at some distance with his one hand in his pocket, making him look aloof and unapproachable.
