Two weeks passed, and everything slowly returned to normal.
Thanatos and Morgana recovered from their mission and took a little time off.
Haruka and Taro studied together at the Grim School. After learning that the moment Taro completed his transformation, they would both enter the Grim School at the same time to take and pass the 9-level exams,
The general public did not know that Haruka and Taro were transformed into Grim Reapers. For them, there was only the following story: Hideo Shinigami went crazy after losing 95% of his clan and tried to turn two people into grim reapers. These men were Kazuki Tanaka and James Brown. However, the attempt failed, and both died during the ritual. As a side effect, the souls of the two were also destroyed.
This lie quickly spread through Memento, and the Shinigami clan was suddenly seen as a heroic clan willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Became part of a clan that gave birth to a soul killer.
The Shinigami clan at first tried to settle things down, but that was not true. But after the younger brother of Hideo Shinigami said that everything was true and that his brother did that, everything was made clear for the public.
Hideo ruined the Shinigami clan, but his little brother Renmaru was an honest man who told the truth. Renmaru was the last honest member of the Shinigami clan in the eyes of the public. Who did not want to bring the power of the clan back with lies but with the honing of truth and hard work.
But there was still something that bothered Thanatos—something he could freak out about. It had nothing to do with work, progress in getting stronger, or anything else. It had something to do with a single person. A special day for a special person A person that was important to him and an important day for that person.
It had to do with her birthday. Camilla's 180th birthday During the mission, he sometimes had to think about it.
What am I going to give her? What are we going to do?
He didn't know why, but for some reason he was nervous about that day. He questioned himself: Why was he so nervous? It was not the first time that the two of them spent time together on each other's birthdays. The two have been celebrating each other's birthdays for a long time, and every single time it was something nice.
They gave each other gifts, and both were happy. Thanatos still remembers how he gave her a gift last year. Her smile was soft and warm, and it was the most beautiful thing that he ever saw.
He had a present and was ready to give it to her, but at the same time, he was nervous. He knew that it was a dump, but he went to his dad to ask him something.
He walked to his father's office and knocked on the door. His father told him to come in, and soon he entered.
"Hey dad, can I ask you something?"
Thanatos made sure that nobody was inside before he said that, in particular his mother. He knew one thing: asking his mother about this was the most stupid thing he could do in this situation.
Sure, go ahead. For what do you need my advice?" This was nothing unusual; Thanatos often asked his parents for advice about something.
"What did you do the first time on your mother's birthday? I mean, what did you do? What did you give her? I was going to need a couple of tips."
Thanatos didn't know how he did it, but his father managed to get his mother to fall head over heels for him for some reason, and she still hasn't recovered from the fall.
His father smiled and answered with an answer that Thanatos hated.
"We did many things. We went out, ate something, and then, in the right moment, I gave her my present."
"And when was that right moment?" Thanatos made quotation marks with his fingers as he said at the 'right moment.'
"I don't remember. It's too long for me to remember."
The moment Thanatos heard that he had left He felt that this was the most stupid thing he could have done. Which didn't mean that he would go now and ask the same question as his mother.
"I am sorry, son. But it wouldn't be your present or the things you two did together. The best thing you can do is follow the rhythm and have fun."
Thanatos heard not even a single one of these words. He left long ago and would have never been able to understand that, and so the day went by.
Thanatos still thought about what he could do and if he should look for another present, but then decided to let it be and see what came.
The only mission in his head now was to not fuck this up so that he could see Camilla smile.
And on the next day, at 2 p.m.
Thanatos was one hour ahead of schedule; he wanted to stand at the location where they both said to meet and prepare himself.
The large fountain on Sonsowa Street. But when he looked at the direction of the fountain, he saw something he would have never imagined. He saw Camilla, who waited in front of the fountain.
She wore a light blue summer dress with a small bag that she carried around her shoulder.
Her blond hair, which looked almost golden, was slightly wavy and stood out perfectly.
Since the dress had no pockets, Thanatos assumed that she had everything she needed in there.
But one thing about hers was strange. About every 10 seconds, Camilla would take a small mirror out of her purse and look at herself in it. She looked kind of nervous or restless.
Thanatos' nervousness was fortunately alleviated by this sight, and so he went on and joined her.
"I didn't think you'd be here this early too."
Camilla turned around in shock when she heard Thanatos voice, who was right next to her. She had no idea how, but for some reason she didn't even notice that he was there.
"Well, I happened to get ready earlier than expected and walked here. I completely forgot to look at the time and went here way too early."
Camilla blushed and uttered these words, which, of course, were not correct. In truth, she was just as flustered as Thanatos and came here earlier than she wanted to.
But somehow she regained her posture, smiled, and said, "But since you came here early too, I don't have to wait for an hour now."
Thanatos was happy that he was not the type of guy who would blush over something like that. Because right now he was confronted with something he often forgets, and that was how dashing Camilla was.
Her warm and gentle smile that could charm anyone and the body of hers. Usually she wore her maid outfit; she was the same as Morgana. She wasn't someone to show off what she had, so she buried her breasts under the maid's uniform, which made them look smaller.
But now she wore a summer dress that hid nothing. Her breasts were bigger than everything he had seen in the last year.
Neither Morgana, his mother, nor any other woman he met had breasts that were that large, and her ass was plump too. Together with her small waist, her body looked as if it couldn't be real.
Camilla noticed the stares, but this time she did not get flustered, blush, or freak out. She showed a smile. A smile that showed that her plan succeeded. She noticed how her breasts had grown enormously since last year, and her ass had also gotten plumper.
She saw it all as divine decree and purposely picked an outfit that emphasized her curves.
"Is something wrong?" Camilla asked with a little simile.
"No nothing. But could you turn around? I want to give you something." Thanatos screeched at the back of his head and tried to disentangle himself from Camilla's trap.
"Oh. Ehh, sure."
Camilla turned around and trusted Thanatos with her back. Of course, she wouldn't deny it if he wanted to do something lewd. But right here, out in the open, it would still be way too embarrassing for her.
She closed her eyes and felt something thin and cold touching her skin. She opened her eyes and saw a necklace with a blue, luminous sapphire.
"Well, I only have money, so I don't know if you like it. If you find it unpleasing or something like this, just throw it away and"
"No, I love it. It is not important what you give me. Every thing is perfect as when it comes from you, even if it would have been a single stink. I would never throw it away."
Camilla jumped at Thanatos, laid her hands on his shoulders, and hugged him with her dainty smile.
"Good then, let us continue celebrating your birthday."
Both walked away from the fountain and spent a happy day together.
