Chereads / My Level Up Talent / Chapter 12 - Dark Assassins Guild

Chapter 12 - Dark Assassins Guild

This was the decisive move as Gabriel stroked the Assassin's Hearth with his right fist combined with Aura, meanwhile, the Assassin's dagger trusted Gabriel's side with ruthlessness.

After the blow, silence remains in the air for a few seconds before the assassin smiles at Gabriel and laughs to his face.

"I don't know how you are different compared to the intel I receive but you will not escape death even if you kill me. All this time my daggers have been couted with a deathly poison." The assassin mocked Gabriel while finally taking his final breath.

To this, Gabriel didn't even flinch a little, he just looked at the assassin's face and then checked his pulse and confirmed that he was dead after rummaging around his body. After confirming his death Gabriel took a sigh of relief and smiled.

"Finally got rid of you. I knew that your daggers were poisoned, my skill [Poison resistance] was working ever since you managed to cut me with your first dagger. and also thanks to my skill [Aura control] I don't have to worry about poisons or healing if I can enhance my healing ability."

After saying this to the air where he was Gabriel turned around and started to leave, but not before concentrating all his Aura distributed around his body to his wound and enhance his healing ability to head the wound and health his body in detoxifying.

By the time Gabriel arrived at his dorm his wound had mostly healed, he just needed about an hour more to heal completely. The good thing is that it's night right now and he doesn't need to move for the rest of the day.

Laying on his bed, Gabriel took out a black badge with the G letters in it and a symbol of two daggers crossing each other. He immediately recognizes this badge thanks to the symbol.

"The Dark Assasins Guild"

This badge belongs to the Dark Assassins Guild, a place you looked for if you wanted to get rid of someone. This way one of the most professional and effective assassins on the market.

That's the reason why they are wanted by the Kingdom of Tremond, after the assassination of the third Prince 30 years ago. They haven't come close to catching them, whenever the Knighthood even got close to catching them they always disappeared like they knew they were coming.

The only evidence they ever was the badge from one of the assassins from the dark assassins guild. That's the only reason that even until now they are still know by many people.

It was due to this badge that Gabriel could tell that whoever wanted him dead contracted the Dark Assassins Guild.

What's worse is that as long as their target is still alive they won't stop in their assassins attempts, and the more he survives the stronger the assassins are going to get.

From now onwards Gabriel would have to worry about assassination attempts. He needs more than before the simulation necklace to survive the future incoming attacks of the assassins.

With the treath of the Dark Assassins guild, Gabriel couldn't stay still he needed to get stronger even quicker.

"I can stay idle." Gabriel stood up from his bed and fought with his tiredness.

Gabriel got out of his room with his wooden sword, he headed towards the training complex and started training after arriving.

A week has gone by ever since the sudden assassination attempt on him from the Dark Assassins Guild.

Gabriel has started to increase the amount of time he trains and how hard he goes on himself in training.

Throughout this week, Gabriel has tried many different styles of training, from the typical repetition to fighting real enemies.

But the one he found most effective in his skill's rapid advancement and growth of strength was shadow training.

This training method was where he imagined a shadowy figure and he fights with it. The figure could be anyone, so who's better to fight than himself?

It was thanks to this type of training that Gabriel learned a new skill called [Shadow Copy]

This skill creates a copy in shadow figure of anyone he thinks and gives them life, and the shadow has everything the original has like skills, strengths, and even weapons and accessories.

It was due to this skill that Gabriel could fight someone at his level of strength and let him develop his skill and fighting instinct. skill and fighting instinct because he's fighting a copy of himself.

Although his skill levels and stats didn't increase much, it was enough to make a difference.

{ Name: Gabriel Malling

 Stats:

 STR: B+ END: A

 SPD: A+ INT: D

 Equipment: [Simulation Necklace] }

Gabriel's endurance and speed stats are way more advanced than the rest of his stats.

But the rest has grown compared to before, the only thing that he has noticed is that after reaching level A in stats it gets harder and harder to grow.

He doesn't know why or how to do anything about it, but he keeps this in mind and decides to finish his training session and head to class afterward.

In his room, while taking a shower Gabriel noticed his changes throughout the two weeks since returning from the simulation.

At first, he was almost bones and skin, but now he has increased in weight and size and he's now more muscular than before.

"I look better than before." thought Gabriel while checking out his body.

After finishing taking a shower, Gabriel dressed up and headed to his first class for the day, which was the combat method.

This class was all about learning the different types of fighting styles and creating and developing a fighting instinct through practice and mock fights, plus at the same time increasing the repertoire of style of combat that the students could handle.

Most of them think that having only one style of combat is better than actually learning a few more because this slows down their progress in mastering a style.

This class doesn't require the students to be proficient in more than one fighting style, as long as they are good in one of them is enough to pass this class. It has been this way since the establishment of this institute and will continue to be so.

After Gabriel arrived at the class, he sat down at this usual spot and then waited for the class to start. It didn't take long for the last students to arrive at class, after the bell for the start of the class started the professor for combat method arrived.

The moment that the professor entered the classroom, all the students started to be restless. The professor was a black hair beauty. Her hair reached to her waist, while her clothing accentuated her curvature body that was refined from practicing and mastering fighting styles.

The professor's name was Isabel Rothefell, she was one of the strongest fighters in her youth.

She was born with a Talent called [Genius Combatant]. This talent made it so that she could increase her proficiency in all the weapons and fighting styles that she practiced or came across.

This Talent was so powerful that for a full 3 years while she was at the institute she was known as the invincible Asura.

No matter the opponent or the weapons they use she always defeated them and even stole the way they fought.

But 2 years ago she disappeared from everyone's sight, it was only a few months ago that it was known that she was going to be teaching the combat method class at the institute.

That's why in this first-year class there were a bunch more students, in which nobles made up more than 85% of them making this year the one with the highest students since its establishment.

After Professor Isabel entered with a look and a little bit of coercion she managed to calm the students in the classroom. seeing that all the students were quiet and even paid close attention to her, she started talking.

Professor Isabel's voice wasn't loud but her voice reverberated throughout the whole classroom.

"Good morning, Class!"

"I can see that all of you are full of energy this morning and that's good. This means that all of you are ready for the upcoming test in a week."

When Professor Isabel said this all the students were in commotion, to this Professor Isabel just raised her voice a little and all the students quieted down.

"Silence!"

Seeing all the students calm down Professor Isabel continued with what she started saying.

"You all will have a test for next week and this test is an important one because this test will determine your future grades."

"This test is one of the important ones because through this we can determine in the future upcoming test how much you all have advanced."

"Just like the name of the class your test will be combat, for next week you all will have a tournament against each other. Remember although if you do badly in this test it will not have a bad impact in the future, there's not much change then that will be a big problem, so you all better strive for a high performance."

When Professor Isabel said this it caused a big commotion between the students, some could even be seen shaking from nervousness. The were some who had a look of resolutions and some were even looking forward to this.

Gabriel was also looking forward to this, but at the same time, he was a little worried because this test would be a big reminder to whoever wants him dead that he has gotten stronger.

The only reason why he managed to survive the assassination from the Dark Assassins Guild was because they underestimated his strength and sent the weakest of their assassins.

But with this tournament, it will show them that he has gotten stronger and they will start sending more powerful assassins towards him. This made Gabriel realize that he needed companions because he couldn't do this alone.

"I need to look for people that would be helpful to me." Gabriel thought.

Gabriel started to think about the best ways that recruit was easier recruiting people who were loyal to him or who had a difficult time betraying him due to some factor.

"The best place to start looking for will be the slums."
