Chapter - 8
Nightmares
When a nightmare occurs to you, what would be your first reaction?
Like anyone else wake up, have a glass of water, call yourself down and think about the positive things in your life and try to forget it. Right?
But what if the only positive things of your life also act as a reminder of the nightmare because that was also a part of your once a happy life?
Once? Why once? Because it isn't a happy one anymore. Because the only happiness in your life, the only positive thing in your life, because the only ray of hope in your life has become the nightmare of your life. A nightmare which will never end, a nightmare from which you can never wake up from, a nightmare which will always become a part of your life, which not only comes at night but also your days.

Liliana's life was also not a very loving memory to her either. Even though in those 23 years of her life never had she thought of leaving anything behind and starting afresh like she had now.
It was night-time when lily woke up screaming, you can imagine it was another of her nightmares haunting her day and night. It wasn't the first time it happened in all these years. Suddenly she realized a sharp pain in her lower belly along with something sticky and wet between her legs and yes, her menstruation had started.
'Shit!'
'Shit!'
'Shit! Ah!'
'Wasn't the date supposed to be a week later! Its earlier this time around I guess.'
She groaned inwardly turning on the bedside lamp for checking her calendar on the side table beside the bed, only to find out her cycle was right on time. It's just she forgot everything about it due to all the commotion going on in her life.
'Shit!'
'Shit!'
'Tomorrow is supposed to be my first day as his yes, HIS Personal Assistant and also my first day too of this. And according to my history of periods my first few days are very bad and when I say very bad, I mean VERY BAD. And this thing isn't giving me any reasons to be relaxed.'
She got up to see the time on the clock to be 1:00 am, turning towards her bed she saw the big patch of red inviting her on the bed. She could feel tremendous pain slowly kicking in her system which made her crouch down beside the bed on her spot. Somehow, she managed to stand up and reached for her cupboard for a change of her clothes and walked towards the bathroom only to be met by another sharp wave of pain that made her hold onto the doorknob tight while closing the door as if it will help her ease the pain in her lower belly even a little.
'I wonder why I didn't feel the pain which is now doing a disco party in my body earlier, which is now making me puke. Calm down lily!
