Chapter 9 - Regret

Chapter - 9

Regret

'I wonder why I didn't feel the pain which is now doing a disco party in my body earlier which is making me puke. Calm down lily!

Just change quickly and then try to complete your very needed beauty sleep you still need to report to him in the morning otherwise you already know everything about him how he will burst like a volcano like a real one the ones you used to make for your science projects in middle school.'

She quickly changed into her clothes and bent downwards towards in shelf for her medicine box where she had kept her pain-relieving meds that her doctor had suggested last time only to find that only one was left, she had run out of it last time which forgot to buy. Suddenly her eyes fell on the sticky note on that fell from the box that read in her words,

"Don't forget to buy it for me your forgetful egghead otherwise you know 'I WILL MAKE YOU REGRET IT' it's what this medication said for you".

'How could I forget it even after this!'

Despite this she stood to put the sticky note on the bathroom mirror to make sure she would remember it tomorrow.

'Otherwise, I would really REGRET IT!'

And with a sigh she returned to her room where she proceeded to make her make and fell asleep after tossing and turning for half an hour.

'Shit! Shit! Shit!'

'I am late!'

'Well done, Lily! Wow you are late on the very first day of your work. Who the hell told you to spend an hour changing and finalizing clothes and ending with the very first outfit you chose for today!'

The thing was her reporting time at the office today was 9 am sharp, hence last night before the havoc in her belly took place, she finalized a few outfits sets for herself for today's big day. By 'a few' she meant at five pairs of dresses, few bags and pair of footwear that matched her every outfit nicely. No, she isn't that well off to actually own any of these but due to the 'BIG HEART' that her best friend Samantha praises herself for in her words, she arranged them a day before for her from her own closet.

'I don't want my best friend to lose her face in front of everyone on the very first day in her workplace.'
