"Morgen has not returned yet?" He asked. "What were you thinking, sending the kid to face our greatest enemy? He knows nothing about the world." A man in a robe replied. His words conveyed both disappointment and concern. "Enough of this! We can't keep allowing that kid to run wild and do as he pleases. Our mission is paramount, and his reckless actions could jeopardize everything we've worked for," another robed man declared sternly. "Silence! You do not dictate terms in my own home. I have my reasons for allowing the kid to act as he sees fit. I trust that he will return" Zugardio shouted as he stood up, revealing his face.
"What do we do? What do we do? What do we do?" Sherlin exclaimed. She was freaking out. "Can you shut up for a second?" Morgen taunted her. "Listen, go inside my room. Ahana, remember that door inside?" Aayan asked her. "Yes, I do remember that. What about it?" She asked. "Head inside and open the door; it leads to a base. Once you step through, you'll come across a substantial gate. Morgen, you'll know what to do from there. Now, move quickly. I'll hold them back" Aayan explained in urgency. "Sealing magic, Arcane!" Aayan chanted. A brilliant beam of magic erupted from his hands, cascading with an ethereal glow as it made contact with the door. The radiant light weaved intricate patterns, gradually enveloping the surface and culminating in the creation of a majestic, giant seal etched upon it. "There you have it." He said.
"Here." Ahana said, as she opened Aayan's wardrobe and punched a fake wall, breaking it into pieces. A big and dark pathway appeared. "How the fuck did you break a wall with just a punch?" Sherlin asked shockingly. "I'm strong, you know." Ahana replied with sarcasm in her voice. "Follow me guys." She said. "It was a fake wall, made up of cardboard." Morgen explained to Sherlin with a smile on his face. She got embarrassed again. Startled, Ahana found herself in a sudden freefall as soon as she stepped into the hidden chamber. The ground beneath her feet disappeared, and she plummeted into darkness. Sherlin freaked out. "Where did she go?" She asked. "Let's find out." Morgen said, again with a smile on his face. He held her hand, and pulled her as he jumped in the hole.
"The gate's been sealed with magic sire. Your orders." Colonel Maverick said, asking for orders from someone using an earpiece. "Use the dark annihilator." Someone from the earpiece ordered. "Roger that." He replied. "What do we do sire?" A soldier asked him. "Use it. Break through. Be ready with the dark magic users. Ask them to shield up." Maverick ordered." They set up a big cannon, flowing with dark energy, against the door. "On your order, sire." A soldier asked. "Do it!" Maverick shouted. The cannon unleashed an enormous sphere of dark magic, hurtling towards the door with immense force. The collision was earth-shattering, causing the door to be blown away as if struck by a powerful explosion. "The seal's broken." A soldier shouted. "Kill on sight." Maverick ordered.
Ahana, Sherlin and Morgen landed on a fluffy mattress breaking their fall. Lights turned on automatically, uncovering a long pathway. "Let's go." Morgen said.
"So, the door huh. How exactly did you discover this door?" Sherlin asked Ahana. "Well, the other day, Aayan was in the bath, when he asked for his innerwear. I was in the room waiting for him. I went to the wardrobe to take his clothes out when I saw this cardboard covering something. As soon as I was going to remove it when he stopped me. He said that this is none of my business and asked me to trust him." She explained. "oh." Sherlin replied. "Attention ladies, we're at the door." Morgen said. "Aayan said, you'd know what to do Morgen." Ahana said. A huge door appeared in front of them. "It's not going to be easy. Pushing it within just core strength won't open the door. We have to think outside the box." Morgen replied. Sherlin was examining the door when she saw a marking on the door. It had a weird pattern. "What's this?" She pointed towards the mark. "It's like the keyhole to open this door, but what is this pattern?" Ahana asked. As soon as Morgen saw the keyhole, he knew what to do. "Here, I got it." He said. He took out a necklace, which had the same pattern as the door, and then put the necklace in the keyhole. It fit perfectly. "There." He exclaimed. Nothing happened even after fitting it perfectly. "Why isn't anything happening?" Sherlin asked. "Well, maybe there's some other puzzle here, that'll open this door. Think Morgen, you might have the answer. Where did you find this necklace?" Ahana asked. "In the dorm, where I lived, there was this old suitcase that belonged to my father. After many trials, I was able to open it as it was sealed. The case contained this necklace with a small note." Morgen explained. "A note you said. Maybe, that note was some kind of magic that would open this door?" Sherlin suggested. "It did have charms on it." Morgen replied. "You should chant it then. Might be our way in." Ahana replied. Morgen stood in front of the gate and started chanting, "Bond seal, friendship."
The soldiers threw two smoke bombs inside the house and started barging in. Aayan was sitting on the sofa in the hall. As soon as the solider entered the hall, he said, "Welcome to my house guys!" "We have sight on Ronin! Shoot!" A soldier shouted. They took the position, but before they could hold the trigger, Ronin disappeared. "Argh!" A soldier shouted from behind. "Aa!" Another one shouted from behind. "Ronin's behind us! Hold your ground." A soldier shouted. Suddenly, he began to choke and subsequently fainted. As soon as the smoke cleared, over twenty soldiers were lying on the ground. Ronin was standing in front, glaring at the soldiers who were scared to even pull the trigger on him. "You shouldn't have come here you know. I'll give you on chance to retreat. These soldiers, they aren't dead, just knocked out. Take them back." Ronin suggested the soldiers.
"Wow, you're just the same as before, not a thing about you has changed, Ronin." Maverick entered, clapping his hands. "Maverick, you're alive....and, haven't aged at all. That's a surprise." Ronin exclaimed. "Not everyone is cursed, or should I say, blessed to be reincarnate with the same amount of knowledge and power you had before so we have to resort to another techniques, dark magic to be certain." Maverick replied. "So, this dark magic, it's keeping you alive then?" Ronin asked. "Not just alive, but helping me sustain my youth!" Maverick exclaimed. "Very well. Nice talking to you Maverick, but I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave with your army." Ronin said. "About that, you know, we aren't retreating. We're here for Morgen, and if possible, your head." Maverick claimed. "As stubborn as ever." Ronin said as he sped up to Maverick, delivering a punch to the stomach that sent him flying outside the house. "Let's not make this a noisy night, shall we? I have neighbors you know." Ronin said. "Fire!" A soldier shouted. They started spraying bullets towards him, but as expected, he dodged every one of them with ease, swiftly punching and knocking out other soldiers.
"Is this the legendary army of Zugardio?" Ronin taunted as he laughed, knocking out every soldier in sight. "He's still so irritating!" Maverick shouted. He activated his bracelet, and it transformed into a robotic suit that covered his entire body. The entire robotic suit was running with dark magic. "Bring it on!" He shouted. "That's surprising!" Ronin said with a smile.
Light magic spread around the entire door, and it opened gracefully after the charm activation leading to a huge white area. Inside, an array of vehicles including cars, bikes, weapons, planes, and jets were all lined up, ready for departure. Numerous scientists were diligently working on various projects, while fighters were actively engaged in training within the designated training area. "Welcome to Zetten." An AI voice said. "What on earth is this? It's all beneath Aayan's house!?" Sherlin gasped. "Not beneath his house. As we were falling, we experienced a warp into a different realm. I distinctly felt the transition. There was a realm gate that facilitated our passage. However, the gate has closed now because we've already completed our warp through it. It was a temporary gateway that allowed us to enter and exit your realm. Ronin must have created it." Morgen explained. "Damn! He's smart." Sherlin said. "All this is his creation?" Ahana asked. "It indeed is, miss Ahana." A robot said. "What the!? I got scared!" Sherlin gasped. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm Xerox, a robot that has been working for Ronin sire, for two hundred years. This is all his creation. This facility is for the betterment of different realms. He travels to different realms, and provide them with security shields that have been created here. These shields, use his own magic, the most powerful one of course. We've been working on the shields to provide them security from dark magic." Xerox explained.
Maverick, clad in his powerful robot suit, charged towards Ronin with great speed, attempting to land a punch. However, Ronin swiftly evaded the attack with agility and countered by delivering a strong punch of his own in return. "Woah! That was close!" Ronin exclaimed.
