Once more, the punch sent him flying backward.. "I'm loving this so much." Ronin exclaimed. Maverick was losing his mind. "Power output percentage, 5000%. Release." Maverick commanded his suit. Suddenly, he pounced at Ronin with greater speed than before. Ronin had to take his katanas out to block his punch. Despite the difficulty, Ronin managed to hold back his punch, but his smile remained as wide as ever. "These techniques will only take you so far, Ronin." Maverick commented. With utmost speed and agility, he relentlessly barraged Ronin with a series of kicks. Caught off guard, Ronin was unable to evade and took the full impact of each kick. "Ha! Not bad!" He commented. "Your will to never give up is as irritating as ever!" Maverick shouted. He continued with his barrage of kicks and punched. Ronin absorbed the majority of the impact from the kicks while managing to block some of them. Maverick unleashed his full berserk fury upon Ronin, employing dark magic to coat his arms and legs, turning them into formidable weapons to strike him. The dark magic's influence also drained Ronin's own magical power, making the battle even more challenging for him. With one last powerful punch, Ronin was sent hurtling backward, crashing into a wall with such force that it shattered completely upon impact.
"Xerox, explain more about this place to me." Ahana said. Scanning Ahana, Xerox said, "You must be Ahana. Master told me that you'd come here. Nice to meet you. Your friends here, Sherlin and unidentified person." Xerox said. "I'm Morgen." Morgen replied. Everyone in the hall got shocked. It felt like his voice resounded and echoed throughout the entire area. "Morgen!? Zetten-sama's son!?" Xerox asked in astonishment. "Well yes I am his son." Morgen replied in confusion. "You're finally here. Let's not waste any time then. The fact that you people are here without master, means he's in danger. We have to make a quick move." Xerox explained. "Hey, you didn't explain about this place!" Ahana exclaimed. "That can wait Miss Ahana, we have a bigger problem that we have to face right now." Xerox replied. He took them to a room. It was filled with magical suits. A scientist was working there on some kind of weapon. "Dr. Drake! Miss Ahana's here. We also have an acquaintance of master, and a surprise for you." Xerox said. Upon turning back, he was taken aback to find Morgen standing there. "Is that you Morgen? You've grown up!" He exclaimed. "Um, hello there. I'm sorry I didn't recognize you." Morgen replied in confusion. "Oh, my bad. I'm Drake, your father's friend. I was also one of the founders of the company." He explained. "Another founder? How hard was it to find a company?" Sherlin mocked him. Ahana gave her an elbow strike to shut her up. "I'm sorry for her behavior. She's naïve. Dr. Drake, you said that you were also a founder. How many founders are there?" Ahana asked. "Well you see, Ahana. There was Ronin, Zetten, Me, that bastard Zugardio, and three more fellows. Finding a company doesn't mean searching for a company. Sherlin I presume? Founders are individuals who come together with a shared idea and possess the capability to transform that idea into reality." He explained. "Does this company have a name?" Morgen asked. "You don't know the name? You've been living there for your whole life and you don't know it's name?" Sherlin taunted. "Now now, don't taunt him. the company used to have a name, before Zugardio took over that was before his birth. The name of the company was, "ZoePsyche", meaning life and soul. The company's main aim was to save lives and keep the souls happy." Dr. Drake explained. "ZoePsyche!" Ahana exclaimed. "ZoePsyche." Morgen exclaimed. Sherlin saw their faces. She felt the need to exclaim too and said, "ZoePsyche." Both Ahana and Morgen gave her a look of disgust. "What? You both were doing it! I felt the need to do it today!" She embarrassingly explained herself. "Oh, I completely forgot! Ahana, Ronin has something for you. A present. He also left this note with it." Dr. Drake explained.
"Only I know how I'm feeling right now! I've been waiting for this moment for so long!" Maverick mocked Ronin. He was completely injured. Despite standing up with difficulty and coughing blood, his unwavering willpower and smile remained unshaken. "You know, Morgen, *coughs*, the last time I defeated you, I felt remorseful because I realized you weren't entirely in the wrong; you were just influenced by the wrong things. This time, it's no different. The only change is that I won't feel sad about it now." Ronin said as he laughed on Maverick, trying to poke him. Maverick rushed towards Ronin and began kicking him. "You're in no position to mock me you bastard!" He shouted. Ronin swiftly teleported behind, attempting to hold his ground. His smile slowly faded away leaving only a little grin. "I'll need you for this one, Janice." Ronin said slowly. "I was waiting for this moment." Someone replied. Maverick rushed to him again to punch him but this time, a dark shadow stopped him in between. "You know Maverick, we need to settle our match too!" The shadow said. "Janice!? You're still alive?" Maverick asked in shock, trying to pull his hand away from the shadow. "Well obviously I'm alive you moron! You forgot, I'm sealed within Ronin, whatever happens to him, happens to me!" Janice replied. "You both deserve to die!" He shouted, still trying to pull his hand away! "Yeah, about that. That ain't happening today son!" Janice responded by delivering a powerful punch, sending him flying backward. The impact cracked open his suit, revealing his body. "You've gotten stiff, Ronin." She said. "Yeah, many years of no fighting will lead you to this. Let's go." Ronin replied. The shadow disappeared as Ronin healed himself. He teleported away, leaving Maverick and his army lying defeated on the field.
"Here. Read the note first." Dr. Drake said. He gave Ahana a box with a note. The note said,
Hello, Ahana. Finally, you've reached the underground base. There are so many things I need to share with you. You must have already met Drake. Ahana, I'm entrusting this box to you. Inside, you'll find something special, something incredibly dear to me, something I never want to lose, just like you. It contains a suit infused with the powers of gods. Not just any god. I've probably mentioned Ela to you by now. It's her powers. She sacrificed her abilities so that I could use them for good. I want you to have them now. They will protect you. Just hold on, Ahana. I love you deeply. I'll be back before you know it, I promise. Until then, Ela will be there to keep you safe.
Yours lovingly,
Aayan
"A suit made by Ela's powers?" Sherlin exclaimed. Ahana was in tears. "I just hope he's alright. You've promised me, Aayan, please return safely." Ahana said. "Morgen. I have something for you too. Follow me." Dr. Drake said. They went into a room. Drake opened his closet and took out a sword and a suit from inside. "Morgen, this belonged to your father. It's from the time we fought in the great war. He entrusted me to keep it safe after the war, but I never had the opportunity to return it. Now, here's my chance. I want you to use it in the right way, just as he would have wanted. I can see him, his will power, his fire inside you." Dr. Drake said. He gave Morgen the suit and the sword.
"ATTENTION EVERYBODY. WE HAVE SOME VISITORS. MORGEN, THE SON OF ZETTEN HAS RETURNED. ALONG WITH HIM, WE HAVE AHANA, MASTER'S BELOVED. AND, SHERLIN...JUST SHERLIN. TREAT OUR GUESTS WITH RESPECT." Xerox announced. "What do you mean by just Sherlin? At least give me a title or something." Sherlin mocked. "Titles are earned, young lady." Dr. Drake replied. "Okay guys. The plan now. Morgen and Ahana. I'm providing you with a task. You both have to find the other three founders. They've been missing ever since Zugardio took over. The last time Ronin encountered them, they were scattered across various locations throughout the realms. No one, not even Ronin knows their location now. Your task is to find them and bring them back so that we can defeat Zugardio." Xerox explained. "How exactly are we supposed to find them when we don't know their location?" Morgen asked. "We can start with their last location. They must have left clues somewhere." Sherlin suggested. "She's sharp, this one. Get her some gears. She's also joining them." Dr. Drake said. "But sire, she's but just a mere mortal. She'll become their handicap and might get them killed." Xerox insisted. "Hey Hey Hey, you little monkey! I'm not their burden. I'm capable of handling myself pretty well. And I'm the brain of the team." Sherlin said. "Yeah she's sharp. She can be useful." Morgen said. Sherlin blushed a little. "Okay. I'll provide gear for her that will protect her. We have to provide both the girls with training before actually sending them in the battlefield." Xerox explained. "Who'll teach them?" Morgen asked. "We have to call him only." Dr. Drake replied. "Not him sire! He's way too much for these ladies to handle." Xerox interrupted. "Way too much? Do you think we need men to save us? We're powerful enough on our own. Bring this individual here.!" Sherlin exclaimed. "You brought this upon yourself." Xerox replied. "Please send for, Ren." Xerox said in his earplugs.
