Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Exile Part 2

Misha, a magician who came next to the hero and is the strongest magician in the country.

I think she understands me, but...

"Franz, you were an alchemist I hired, right? Your job was to take items from monsters and transmute them into rare items, but you haven't done anything. It's the worst. There's zero merit in having you as a companion. You're an idiot."

Misha is a girl younger than me, but her statement clearly looked down on me, and I couldn't help but feel disappointed.

She has talent as a magician and I thought she was a very refined woman, so her insulting words were terrible.

"Misha, I've put tremendous effort and contribution into the party. You understand that, right?"

"Huh? You fool. Our party has reached S rank. It's a waste to give extra rewards to Franz. It's unfair to just take rewards without doing any work. You're a reward thief! Stealing rewards instead of stealing items is the worst. Seriously, disappear now, right in front of me!"

What an awful expression. Calling me a reward thief without any value to receive rewards, but she shouldn't say that to the person who has the most value.

"Reward thief, the best!"

"You really are a thief. I want you to return all the rewards you've received so far. Actually, just give them back, you idiot!"

"Sorry, I don't have much money."

How dare you say that? I know that I haven't given significant rewards like everyone else, but there's no need to demand me to return them.

I don't want to be treated like a petty thief or a robber.

Even the guild master can't stop laughing.

"Franz, we're going to become an S-rank party from now on and we'll be busy. We're going to defeat the Demon Lord too. Honestly, you're just a burden. You'll end up dead. You don't want to die, right? Then just disappear. I've taken care of you. You should at least be grateful to me!!"

Adding insult to injury, the priest Finel speaks up.

She is young, but she became a priest and is expected to do well. However, it seems she doesn't know that it's thanks to me that she became a priest.

"Get out of the guild already!!!"

Finally, the guild master announced my expulsion, and I left the Adventurer's Guild.

Well, well, they've really made a fool out of me. If that's the case, I have my own thoughts and I can take action, right?
