Elysium Academy was considered to be the best due to its ability to produce the strongest warriors of every generation. From the Kings to the current Dukes, they were all once students of the Elysium Academy. This was only possible due to the rigorous schedule of the students of the academy, which was mostly combat focused. The students had regular duels against one another, and their rank in the academy was mostly based on their strength. Examinations were held in high regards by the students, as they were the only way for them to overthrow one of the rankers, and take their position.
The format for the examination was different every year, and was designed personally by the headmaster, as to not allow any external influence that might favor any particular student.
Inside the headmaster's room, William sat on his chair, a parchment lying in front of him. It was a detailed record of the feats of Aldrich Drakewind, Gina Roosevelt, Amy and several other candidates.
