"They're on the left," Blaise simply whispered to me, then gave me a soft kiss on the cheek. When I looked in the direction he said, I saw Kristel and their parents looking at me. Mr. Gandia is all smiles, and so is his wife.
"Good evening, ma'am and sir," I said politely when I got close to them. I even curtsied a bit, though it felt awkward because I don't usually do that.
"Finally, the Arya that Kristel has been telling us this whole time. Sit down, hija," Mr. Gandia said, pointing to the chair in front of him. Blaise pulled the chair for me and made me sit while he was next to me and facing his mom, who's still smiling at me.
"Nice meeting you. And hi, Kristel," I started. Kristel greeted me enthusiastically.
"I hope you don't mind, but we have ordered foods already. Are you fine with pasta, hija?" Mrs. Gandia asked me.
I was about to answer, but Blaise got ahead of me. "Mom, you will be surprised by her appetite. She eats everything."
