"Let's go," he said when he got back. To my delight, he took the money.
I stood up and followed him out. He then walked towards the two street children and handed them the money. They're both surprised, and so am I. That's eight hundred bucks!
"Spend that on food, alright? When I find out that you used it on something stupid or cigarettes, I'll hunt the two of you down," he said softly, but I know he meant it. Especially now that I know what Hunter Fourteen does outside of school,
He suddenly turned to me. "I'll take you home already," he said.
I shook my head. It's just eight thirty. It's too early, considering that what I told my brothers is that we are going to do a school project.
"It's too early. Let's go somewhere first, then take me home. It's date night, anyway," I said.
"Too early? When it's weekdays like this and there's school tomorrow, I couldn't say that this is too early."
