The bitch has started crying, and I pity her for that. I wanted to continue flirting with Blaise to irk her more, but somehow I felt bad while looking at her, so I decided to untie her. Once she'd already been freed, she slapped Blaise on the cheek before she ran away.
"Tell me that's just a joke, Arya," Trina said with her jaw dropped while switching her gaze between me and Blaise, who's not sitting in front of me, eating his food. When he noticed I was looking at him, he offered his burger, which I accepted right away.
"That's not a joke. He really is my boyfriend," I said once again. I hear them gasped, still in disbelief.
"Instead of leaving your friends hanging there, why don't you tell me how we happened? Or maybe you want me to?" Blaise said with a devilishly smirk on his face that for a moment there, I wanted to slap his other cheek. So annoying.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine! Well, yesterday when the two of you have already left, he approached me then he said that he knows that he's already seeing Maven and Snow somewhere, being chummy together. Of course, being the stupid me, did not believe. Then we decided to have a deal where I get to be his girlfriend for a month, if he can prove that he's correct," I explained. It's not as if I do not intend to tell them about Blaise, but this isn't just the time; I am expecting that I will.
They both stopped eating and looked at me, surprisingly.
"And you agree? You shouldn't have! One month only? It's supposed to be forever already!"
My eyes narrowed at Trina, who said that. I perfectly know that she could really be tactless at times, but seriously? Right now?!
"What is your name and where do you study?" Gail then asked Blaise, obviously to save Trina from my wrath.
"Blaise Rafaelo Gandia. Herondale Wolf."
The two looked at each other, not feigning their shock, while I, on the other hand, couldn't care less but continued to eat.
"You go to Herondale High?" Trina asked, and Blaise just nodded solemnly at that.
"Well, not all who go there are bad people, aren't they? Surely, there are still students there who are nice just like you who told our friend about his asshole boyfriend. Thank you, Blaise, Gail said. Blaise has no response to that but just smiles a little.
Thankfully, after that, my friends resumed eating and talked about the bitch last time whom I taught a lesson.
Sometimes it really seems to me that my friends really intended to be bullied and not fight back because they find it satisfying if I am the one fighting for them instead.

"I hope we'll see you again next time, Blaise. Feel free to visit Arya at school if you want to, and we can also boast about you to Maven. Huh!" Trina said while we were already walking out of Jollibee. I rolled my eyes at that. Blaise just laughed at that, though I really wonder if he'll go to me.
I secretly looked at him to observe his features. Truth be told, I must admit that he's irrefutably handsome. He's the gangly type, but he's surprisingly neat, and just by looking at him, you could also tell that he smells good.
I can also feel that he has a large build because of his wide chest and shoulders. As for his height, he's so towering that when I stand next to him, my head is just a little above his chest. His dark brown hair is a bit long; there are already streaks of it on his brows.
He somewhat reminds me of my brothers, as if he is a combination of Kuya GD and Kuya CL. I wonder what kind of vile thing he did that his parents put him at Herondale High. It just occurred to me that I do not know him at all, aside from the fact that he is a leader there.
He must have felt that I was looking at him, so I averted my gaze the other way. When I looked at Gail, I knew that she knew that I was looking at Blaise because she was smiling maliciously as if I'd been caught doing something naughty.
When we reached the parking area, we stopped in front of a big motorbike that I somehow recognized. It's an MTT Turbine Streetfighter. Impressive. I'm not into motorbikes much, but I am aware how expensive they are, and if I am not mistaken, their turboshaft is what a Rolls-Royce car also has.
I thought he was already going to leave, but to my surprise, he looked back at me. "Let's talk," he said.
"Sure. But where?"
"Go with me. Let's talk somewhere else."
I raised a brow at that. "Don't tell me—"
"You're riding my bike."
My friends and I looked at each other. It's not that I am nervous to ride such a big bike since my brothers also have one and I know how to ride one, but it's where he'll take me that makes me feel uneasy. Sure, I can fight him, but if he knows more martial arts than me, Or maybe he'll take me somewhere where the guys he was with last time are, and they'll bury me?
"Just tell me where it is and I'll go on my own. Or better yet, let me drive," I said, and he can't force me to do that.
A playful smile hit his lips. He then raised his hand and gave me his key.
"Your call, then," he said. I grabbed the key from him and then roared the engine to life.
"Hold on to me," I told him. Instantly, he wrapped his arms tightly around my waist; I could even feel his chest against my back. My friends started to tease us too.
Damn. I should've not said that.
I was expecting that he'd bring me to an abandoned warehouse or a shady place, but surprisingly, we stopped in front of a high-end café.
"Are you serious right now? We just ate, didn't we?" I asked, though I am up for a cake if he'll offer.
"I want you to meet someone," he said tonelessly as he moved away a streak of hair from my forehead and retrieved his key. He then grabbed my hand and entwined our fingers together. The gesture surprised me, but I did not protest. We walked hand in hand, entering the café.
"Rafael!" I looked at the girl who said that and was waving to us. I mean Blaise.
Oh. Blaise Rafaelo. Rafael..
"Act like a sweet girlfriend," he furtively whispered to me as we walked our way towards the girl.
I plastered a fake smile on her. "I'm his girlfriend. Nice to meet you; the name's Arya. How about you?" I said without missing a beat.
The girl was surprised upon hearing that. Her eyes widened, then she looked at Blaise.
Blaise put his arms around me and kissed me on the forehead. Damn this, opportunist bastard. He's done it twice already today!
But then, I just played along with it; I even inched closer to him. After all, a deal is a deal.
"I want you to meet my girlfriend formally. She's the one I was telling you about that I've been pursuing for quite some time now. Baby, this is Maoi, my ex-girlfriend. Maoi, this is my present and future. The one I can't live without. Arya Astrid Fonacier."
