"Good job today," Elena complimented Yuchen as she made her way to the refrigerator in their presidential suite. She needed some cold water to refresh herself after their lengthy visit to her parents' house.
Despite the minor annoyance Elena felt because Yuchen had deviated from the script regarding their meeting story, she had to admit that he had done remarkably well today. Yuchen's culinary skills, particularly the delightful sauce he had prepared, had impressed everyone, including her.
Yuchen, sporting a slightly flushed face from the alcohol, acknowledged her compliment. "Yeah, you did a good job too," he replied.
Noticing Yuchen's tipsy state, Elena decided to fetch a bottle of cold water for him. She couldn't help but wonder what he had talked about with her father and brother during their after-dinner drinking session.
