"Don't bother looking, you won't find me.
Have you wondered why Anaya is still not awake even though her pulse is back to normal?"

Some moments earlier...
{Natasha's POV}
I drummed my fingers on the steering wheel impatiently.
The hospital's security guards took an eternity to allow me in.
Once they did, I sped inside and parked in the lot.
I took a look at the reflection at the side of the car. I was covered from head to toe.
Blue jacket, white vest and pants, black gloves, and white heels.
I sighed at my appearance. I knew I was taking a risk dressing like that, but I was finally meeting my Sweetheart, Don after all this time.
And, I have to look stunning if I want him to take his eyes off that wrench.
I took a matching blue scarf and used it to cover my head, neck, and lower face. Leaving only my eyes out.
Satisfied, I walked into the hospital. That awful sterilized scent greeted me as though it was coming out of a plug-in air freshener.
I wrinkled my nose and continued walking up to the ward she was in.
I stopped by the window when I saw that she wasn't alone.
My Zolotse{Darling} wasn't there, but a doctor and a pale-skinned Arabic-looking lady in a long dress and a matching scarf that covered her hair and neck were in the ward.
They exchanged some words after which the doctor started coming towards the door.
I left the window immediately and walked back down the hallway.
"Where did Don go, and who is that woman?" I muttered to myself under my breath as I walked back.
I pulled out my untrackable phone and was about to call Don, until I saw a woman dressed casually enter a room labeled as, 'TO STAFF ONLY!'.
Curiosity got the best of me. I put the phone back into my bag and entered the same room.
It was a changing room.
The woman had changed into a nurse's clothes.
She jumped as I knocked an iron tray to the ground causing it to clatter loudly.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
I smiled as sweetly as I could.
"Sorry to startle you miss, but I need your help. May I borrow your nurse uniform for a bit?" I asked nicely.
"No. It's not for nonmedical personnel. And didn't you read the sign outside? This room is authorized to staff only. Leave now or else I will call security!"
"I don't think you understand miss, but..."
"Security! Security!!" She yelled loudly and was heading for the door.
I pulled her back and threw her against the wall with enough force that made her fall unconscious.
On examining her, she was still breathing and had a small bleeding wound at the back of her head.
"Or maybe I should have just offered her money instead of doing that," I contemplated but shrugged right afterward.
"Well," I took her legs and began pulling her across the room to a dark corner, "We can't cry over spilled milk, can we? Damage has already been done and there is nothing we can do to reverse it. She's injured, she's unconscious, and she will now be clothless"

I stepped out of the closet in the nurse's white clothes and nose mask and used the cap to cover my hair.
With a few materials too, I was able to alter my appearance a little.
I entered the room and saw only the Arabic lady there. She was asleep, leaning on her hand which was resting on the arm of her chair.
I entered inside and cleared my throat, making her wake up immediately.
"Oh, hello. May I help you?" she asked in a meek voice.
"I just need to do a mandatory check-up on the patient" "OK then. Since you're here, I need to go and check something quickly. Could you be a darling and watch over her for me?"
I grinned.
"Sure" She smiled, picked up her bag, and left the ward.
Once I double-checked that no other person was in the ward or coming there, I walked up to the bed.
There she was!
My blood boiled at the sight of her.
She was pretty, I could agree, not as beautiful as me of course, yet she managed to trap Don.
My hands itched to wrap around her throat and squeeze the life out of her. So in her next life, she would think twice before even batting an eyelid at my boyfriend.
"Hi, Anaya. Enjoying being married to my fiance?"
Her condition was almost laughable.
Almost.
"Right, I forgot. You're unconscious and too weak to talk or even hear me" I giggled mockingly.
"I guess this is the universe's way of punishing you for hurting another woman. You stole my dream of being Mrs. Don Smith and now look... You can't even enjoy that now.
You're depending on a mask and a cylinder of gas to breathe"
I lightly traced the cylinder beside her bed with a devilish glint in my eye.
"Your friend made the wrong decision by leaving you here all by alone with me.
Just what will happen to you once I remove that mask from your face, or disconnect the cylinder?"
I chuckled.
My eyes immediately darted to the oximeter on her finger.
"Unfortunately, your pulse is back to normal. Why don't we change that?"
I brought out the small bottle from my pocket and picked up a syringe.
"It disgusts me how Don is anxiously waiting for you to wake up. But you won't. I'll keep giving you things like this until your body can't handle it anymore, and you die.
Don will be better off without you.
The sooner he gets over you, the better"
I smiled.
But it soon turned to a frown.
I leaned closer to her face and stared at her with nothing but pure hatred looming at the back of my mind.
"My hatred for you is more than just because you brainwashed Don into marrying you, I don't know why but I feel like I know you very well"
"Anyway, all that matters is that you are helpless, Anaya, and as good as dead too. I wish I could just slit your throat with this surgical blade right now, but that would just spoil everything"
I poked the needle into the bottle, drew the liquid out with the syringe, and injected it into the IV bag hanging on the pole beside her.
"It's a pity you won't get to see my face. But hopefully, you remember this the next time you try messing with me; Don is mine and mine alone. Anyone who tries to come in between us will suffer greatly just like how you're doing.
Unfortunately, you didn't enjoy your marriage with him for long. But no time worry, I'll do that for you. I wish you good luck in the afterlife, Ana ya" I waved with a wicked smile, put the bottle and the syringe back in my pocket.
I then removed the small camera I had in my pocket and hid it inside the flower vase on the table.
"I'll leave this here so I can keep an eye on you and everything that goes on in here" I grinned and walked out of the ward.
