"This makes no sense! How the hell did those freaks send a—what is that thing exactly?" General Hamdon raised an eyebrow at the sight of an extraterrestrial being attacking a small town.
"Smart money's on enemies' muscle of their tactic", weapon developer Garret Hogan spoke.
"They specifically said they'd give us a month to come to a decision! This was not part of the negotiation!" Beatrice furrowed her eyebrows
Six weeks ago
"Hard to believe that aliens do exist", Agent Kane gasped. The government had just received footage of an unidentified spacecraft from Saturn's satellite. It was extraterrestrial because NASA is still figuring out how to make spacecraft suitable for humans to travel beyond Mars.
"Oh boy, I think they're heading towards us as I've just calculated. But they are traveling slowly", Astronomer Dr. Perry informed. The General eyed the ship carefully. "That's a large ship, about the size of the Titanic".
"So our alien buddies are either sightseeing or…"
Agent Lewis finished, "They're plotting to colonize Earth! An extraterrestrial version of how America was taken over".
"What do we do? We don't have advanced technology to hit something in outer space, let alone past Mars", Agent Kane panicked.
"All the more reason for us to start now".
Then the computers started buffering. Everyone looked around. "Someone's hacking or tech systems", Computer technician Kenji Yamada alerted.
All technology shut down worldwide, and then after five minutes, every device was rebooted. Everyone in the headquarters tensed as the screen revealed inhuman beings with the background spaceship setting. The windows only revealed the dark star-dotted domain of space. The creatures' body figures were humanoid, but each had a blue and pink skin tone. They had four bead black eyes and their 'mouth' seemed like flesh-shaped brushes.
"Good day, inhabitants of Dirt", The being closest to the screen greeted. "You had about millennia of dominance in your world, but that era of your reign has ended".
"These guys are interestingly ugly", Sergeant Collin remarked but was immediately shushed by the general.
"We are coming to your water planet for its new era. A new race has come to restart the environment. Your world will no longer be owned by homo-sapiens but by—" The screen started buffering. "We…rule…stop…"
Then the screen worked properly again. "Your world will become ours, we will give you about a month to prepare".
The screen shut down, then switched back onto security footage. Everyone was silent, trying to process what was their first contact with an alien but humanity's biggest threat.
"Crud! We're going to die!" A man shrieked. General Hamdon faced the man with concern.
"Who are you?"
"I think he's the janitor Sir", Agent Lewis answered. Hamdon wanted to ask why a janitor was in the room witnessing the extraterrestrial's first contact with humans. Fortunately for the janitor…
"You better not say a word of this to anyone in the outside world, understand?"
"I…don't think it matters if he tells anyone or not", Kenji grimaced. "When the aliens did their 'video call', they patched into the Television satellite".
"…WHAT?" Everyone exclaimed.
"Yeah, the whole world witnessed their call".
Present
The slandering on the media was pointless as an actual eight-foot-tall, alien monster with snail eyes was in a small town in Texas. It was already filmed and posted online.
In the city, people were smart enough to evacuate, others chose to stay and keep filming the creature. There were crowds of fanatics who attempted to communicate, fortunately, military soldiers successfully prevented it.
"Sweet golly! I told you their politics were lyin' about that alien message on T.V.!" a civilian spoke on camera.
To the public, it was controversial excitement, to the Area 51 secret base, it was like a bomb with a timer.
"Guys…it's a bit suspicious how that thing isn't moving", Kenji suspected.
General Hamdon hummed, "Send troops to contain it. It would be wise to lock it up now".
Beatrice walked to the General. "Uh Hamdon, that creature…are you sure you don't need my creation for this?"
"You said it yourself Butteroil, 'she' is not ready", Hamdon made the air quotes on the pronoun. "I only want my C-squad there, and make sure they're wearing the new armor (Thanks for the design idea Louis and Lenny)".
Beatrice followed after the general, "But I was told Delacacie was needed—"
"End of discussion Butteroil!"
Louis and Lenny beamed with flattery while ignoring Beatrice. As troops headed to the area, a young boy managed to sneak out and ran to the monster.
As troops were sliding down on the chopper's ropes, a woman was wailing with fear. "TRAVIS! MY BABY!"
"Ma'am, calm down—"
"I need to get to my baby! He went to the monster!" She cried. The soldiers glanced at each other and headed to the non-human-entity.
"Hey! Kid! Get away from the monster now!" General Hamdon barked.
The Spixans were watching from the vision scan of their creation. "Is that small thing approaching our weapon the human's secret weapon?" One asked in a feminine voice.
"That is uncertain".
"I don't see any weapons on it…".
"Look! There are individuals in interesting armor!" Another Spixan gasped. The troops had interesting advanced firearms.
Their leader hummed, "I guess these specimens aren't as primitive as I assumed".
At Coppell where the monster was, troops surrounded the creature after one soldier carried the child away to the other civilians. The creature was still in a docile-like state. A chopper hovered above it and released a net onto it.
"It's ready for transport. Let's lift it", the pilot yelled as he pressed the ascend button. As the chopper started to move the creature started moving frantically.
General Hamdon turned on his radio to speak with the chopper, "Tell the troop below to shoot it down now!"
"OPEN FIRE!"
The soldiers fired red laser beams at it. The creature screeched as it began pulling the upper net's rope, making the chopper slowly descend. It was pulling down the airborne vehicle. The chopper wasn't strong enough to keep flying.
"Let it out", The general spoke in an inside voice. "Let it out unless you want to kill yourself". The pilot did as he was told and the net was detached from the chopper. The monster still in the net remained still. It was nerve-wracking to see how unpredictable the threat was in the situation. Then it frantically waved its entire body around. The soldiers fired until the creature started talking.
"Well well! This is your secret weapon? Armor for your soldiers? I guess we will see how strong those outfits are!" It spoke in a digital voice, like an artificial intelligence.
The general was watching with a shock in realization. "Troops! That thing is just a remote-controlled puppet! Shoot it down!".
"Big mistake…", The spixans' voice said through the creature. The monster leaped towards the soldiers and smashed its fists a few feet away from the troops. The soldiers were sent back in mid-air and crashed into the stores behind them. The soldiers who didn't get injured were running from vehicles it threw at them. The monster gave a monstrous roar as it kept throwing large objects all over the place.
A soldier couldn't run as fast as the other members and knew the incoming flying car was going to land on him. He closed his eyes as he was ready to accept his death, but after five minutes, he opened his eyes. He wasn't dead, and he was still in the town being wrecked by the monster. He turned around to find an individual holding the car that should've killed him. The individual was a feminine figure who placed the vehicle on the ground gently and walked ahead to the monster. The other soldiers witnessing the woman stared in awe.
The monster stopped throwing cars all over the place and looked down at a woman with egg-white skin, blue hair, pitch-black eyes, and wearing a black and white Lolita dress. The dress was a slightly tight skirt hemmed design and she was wearing black ballerina flats. As it walked to the beast, the media that was hiding in a cardboard disguised as a bush filmed.
"Is that…a woman?"
The Spixans were intrigued, "Okay, that better be the humans' creation", one of them said as it narrowed its four eyes.
Beatrice was in a surveillance van with Kenji. "No turning back now".
The woman inhaled, "Future I should be the one dealing with an angry general. Now, my creation will save lives today".
