Delacacie walked up to the monster and tied her hair into a ponytail. She stood in a pose indicating she was prepared for battle.
The monster bent backward and stood upright stiffly. "Well, well…" the aliens spoke from the monster's…
"Where is its mouth?" Kenji asked Beatrice, who shrugged and said she had no idea as well. The doll narrowed her pitch-black eyes.
"You better be the creation I was informed about. Or are you just a display toy?" The Spixan said with intrigue.
Beatrice froze when that was said. Kenji looked at Beatrice who looked like she was fearful. "My stars…this was their plan".
"What?"
"Kenji, the only reason they sent that thing to Earth was so we'd be forced to reveal our weapon. Much sooner than originally planned".
"Damn, and we took the bait", Kenji frowned. Beatrice could already picture herself being scolded and yelled at by the general. How could she be so stupid to take the bait?
"Let's focus on the present problem. Delacacie I want you to listen to this plan okay?" Beatrice said through the radio.
Meanwhile, the reporters couldn't get any closer to the monster, and the woman prepared to fight it. "As you can see, we have seen proof of extraterrestrials existing. Not only that but we now see that the government has been using tax money on…is that 'woman' facing the monster human?" The reporter whispered. The cameraman just shrugged, then zoomed in on the being.
Delacacie was almost hit by the monster who tried swatting her with its hand. The doll android leaped up and ran up its arm. Before the monster thought about shaking it off, she gripped the tentacles that were its beard. She pulled one off and it started spewing out green liquid.
The reporter was unfortunate enough to have the liquid spewed in her direction. "Eww! What is this?! My brand new dress!" She whined but glared at the cameraman who was snickering.
Delacacie flipped to its feet and sliced it, the monster didn't seem to feel the pain.
"Delacacie, that creature isn't a living thing. It is just a remote-controlled puppet. Find whatever item inside that connects to the Spixans' remote control", Beatrice commanded.
"Yes Bea", Delacacie replied. She walked to the beast and was about to rip open its backside when it stood up. No, because Delacacie cut the legs shorter, it positioned itself in a gorilla posture. The android doll's pitch-black eyes narrowed slightly. "Percentage of defeat is hard to confirm. Never fought an extraterrestrial primate".
"What…?" Kenji mouths with a baffled face as he glances at Beatrice who giggles nervously.
"Yeah…she does that when she wants to blog but can't because she's too occupied with whatever other task".
"…She blogs? Isn't she NOT allowed to contact the outside world?" Kenji frowned.
"She doesn't contact the outside world. Unlike how people express themselves online, Delacacie blogs more like how old-fashioned people write in vintage diaries".
Kenji nodded but thought he should ask more about the matter before he reported to the general. Beatrice could tell what Kenji was thinking but sighed. "I'll explain this fact more if you keep it between us."
The monster charged in a primate-like movement, it was not as quick as before, and everyone watching noticed that.
"Is it getting tired?" One agent asked from the base.
"I already said it was a remote-controlled toy! Weren't you paying attention?" The other feminine ginger-haired agent deadpanned. "How can a puppet get tired? It is only getting slower because Butteroil's little Frankenstein ripped off its legs".
Meanwhile, at the White House in Washington, the government was intrigued. Joel Kane made a half smile. "This…creation is what I keep mentioning! Mr. President, having it officially owned by the government could increase our campaign's publicity. It's time we talk to Area 53".
"With all due respect Mr. Kane!" Megan Pendle intervened. "We should ask Miss Butteroil for it—"
"Quiet everyone! Let's all focus on the robot fighting that alien freak", President Lysone shushed his secretary and his counsel member.
Back in the small town in Texas, Delacacie kept dodging its puffed arms. Then she smirked as she jumped onto its arm and ripped out its flesh. To everyone's surprise, the monster's arm burst out air, as if it was an inflated balloon the entire time.
Beatrice frowned, "The arms were just fabric concealing air? That's…weird."
"Well, we should be glad as she just did the same thing to the other arm", Kenji laughed triumphantly at the monster's defeat.
The beast could hardly move as it no longer had supporting limbs, Delacacie walked up to it and then jumped up for a kick spin, knocking out its optical snail-like vision. As she landed back down, the monster seemed lifeless, defeated. Soldiers were immediately ordered to transport it. It twitched as they approached the beast before making a projected screen of the Spixans.
"Well, well, I see we may have underestimated your species. I'm guessing you are all smart enough to start realizing that this was a test".
The reporter signaled the cameraman to approach the scene much closer until a soldier took the camera and smashed it. "Hey! You can't do that! We are just doing our job".
"And I'm just doing MY job", the soldier hissed as other soldiers escorted the reporters away from the scene.
During that time the Spixans revealed a film of Earth. "Yes, that is how close we are to your planet".
"What are you lying about?" A Spixan who was off-screen asked. "We still haven't passed Uranus!"
The head Spixan had already muted the live video to whack them in the head before Earth heard that last statement. Then he walked back to his seat and unmuted. "Apologies for that. Where was I…"
A green Spixan quickly whispered in his earhole. "Oh! Yes…are near your planet. You have until the twenty-fifth rotation of your planet's cycle to prepare. We will use your planet with force to house—"
"Sir! It is your groomsman. He wants to know how you will want your hair for—"
The head of the Spixans just disconnected the call and the projection screen disintegrated. Some soldiers were snickering and the pilot arched an eyebrow.
Kenji and Beatrice were wondering if the Spixans were more threatening in person than online.
"These guys are idiots", Kenji said.
"True but they are way ahead of us in science and technology. Though I'm in hot water now", Beatrice said as she was shaking.
"General was never the friendly type but hey, at least we know your creation is capable of battling aliens".
"That's why I'm in hot water Kenji. We (meaning the whole world) know about Delacacie".
"I'm sure General won't be that angry with you".
"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING BUTTEROIL?!" General barked at Beatrice when the crew and agents were back in the base.
