"I have something to tell you." He hissed as the corner of his torn mouth moved. Dante didn't spare his face, and particularly aimed at it, painting purple marks all over. The stinging sensation reminded him of the severity of the situation. He felt if he continued to hide his secret, he would lose the woman in front of him.
"What is it?" Arianne was curious about what he's going to say.
Dante was somehow agitated for no reason, and it was not because of his wounds, rather it was because his heart was unsettled by Magnus' behavior.
"I…" Magnus didn't care whether Dante was eavesdropping or not, he was even glad he's around. He was not ashamed of his feelings, it's just that he was afraid she'll draw a line between them, not letting him cross the other side. After all, such a thing was hard to accept.
