Modi and Athena walk through the city and watched as Gods and Heroes walk among each other. Modi intrigued by its beauty, the breeze only amplifying the wonderful smells of the city.
"Come this way to the pantheon," Athena beckons the God. Modi walks into a giant temple and sees many throws arranged in semi circle with a hearth in the center.
"Wow I've never seen such an amazing site," The God said in wonder.
"It truly is wonderful," Athena said agreeing with her new friend.
"Where is everyone?" Modi asks.
"Athena, I'm unsure they'll be here soon, in the mean time I have some questions. What is your world like? Do you have monsters you fight? Do you have any siblings?" Athena asks quickly filled with curiosity.
"Ok, ok slow down, catch your breath. My world was beautiful, it may have been cold at points but it was wonderful and I adored it. As for the monsters we have an enemy called Jotnar or as you call them Giants. They threaten the nine realms, including Asgard and Midgard, and as apart of the Aesir I have been trained to fight them off. My brother and I. His name is Magni he's my best-friend he has always been there to protect me wether from attacks from enemy or our father's rage. I miss him, he's one of the reasons Im here. As we grew he became less protective more aggressive. He still loves me I know and I love him, but he seems to antagonize me more than usual we barely talk. Before I came here he called me a coward he allowed our to rain Hel down on me. And so I came here to prove to them I am no coward," Modi Explains to the goddess tearing up from his story.
Athena now angry with herself for saying such hideous words to this poor soul all because he let his urges take control.
"Modi, Im sorry I had no clue," Athena said.
"Why are you apologizing? I was the one who came up on you," Modi defends.
"No you have nothing to apologize for, it honestly felt nice to be looked at the way you looked at me," Athena flirts.
"Even so, it wasn't right," Modi said. Athena, falling more and more from the gods chivalry, blushes more.
"You know I have always had the fantasy of sexual conquest in this hall while the gods weren't here." Athena confesses wrapping her arms around the God.
"I uh, fear it's not the wises idea for a goddess of wisdom," Modi protests. Athena licks her lip and stares in the gods eyes, going ever closer to his member.
"You would not deny a goddess her wish would you?"Athena asks.
"Athena I..." Modi begins staring at her. "You have changed much, from only a few moments ago?" The god questions. Athena regains herself after hearing this.
"Right, I'm sorry I don't know what came over me, its a bit of a blur," Athena tells both modi and herself. Athena turns her self away to the god but he hugs her from behind.
"It's what I felt at the pond," Modi responds. Athena turns to him and the gap between there mouths shrink. However till they can close the Gods return to the circle. And the two break from each other. The god watches an old man walk up to him.
"Athena, who is this... outsider?" the man asks in a deep voice.
"Father this is Modi, son of Thor, god of wrath, from Asgard," She introduces. "And Modi this is my father the king of the gods Zues," She Continues. Modi reaches out to shake the mans hand.
"It's good to meet you," Modi greets the god. Zues stares at him and modi places his hand to his side.
"Leave this realm, whatever you're looking for its not here," Zues warns Modi.
"Father please, don't allow your paranoia get in the way of a possible allay," Athena pleads with her father.
"He is an outsider we have no business with outsiders and we have no need for Allies," Zeus tells his daughter.
"Zues, let me prove myself let me show you I can be helpful to you and the Olympians," Modi challenges the god.
"You think you can take on the horrors of this world?" Zues questions the god. Zues looks at him and sees a spark in his eye ready for a fight. "Fine, you will fight one of us and if you win you will be recognized as a god," Zues challenges.
"Very well, who will I fight?" Modi asks. Zues looks to his fellow Gods. He decides on the god of war himself, Ares.
"Zues, you will fight, Ares, and may he have mercy on you," Zues threatens. The god walks away and Ares walks up to Modi.
"Go see Hephaestus, he will help you out before the battle," Ares explains to Modi.
"You wish to help me?" Modi asks.
"My father is quick to anger and distrust, and wish not to end up like him, however, I cannot show you mercy in the arena," Ares tells the god then walks away to be ready.
Modi looks towards Athena.
"Who the hel is Hephaestus?" Modi asks. Athena takes Modi into the Bowels of the mountain to Hephaestus's workshop.
"Brother," Athena calls. Hephaestus wakes up and smacks his head on a shelf.
"Fockin Hel, what do you want?" Hephaestus asks pissed at his sister.
"I need your help," Modi requests.
"Uh, here's something Who are you and what do you want?" Hephaestus Asks the stranger in a rude tone.
"Modi, and I need you to help Falknir," Modi requests showing him his axe.
"My, what a beauty, expert craftsmanship," Hephaestus gawks at the axe.
"It was commissioned by the god of war to Brok and Sindri," Modi explains.
"Ares?" Hephaestus asks.
"No, my god of war, Tyr," Modi corrects.
"Well whoever, I can try sharpening it for you and replace its handle," Hephaestus suggests.
"Good Idea," Modi agrees. Hephaestus gets to work. In the end Hephaestus hands over a new and improved Falknir. "It's perfect," Modi congrats the weapons smith.
"Yeah, also added a new grip that should help you hold on while Ares promptly hands you your own ass." Hephaestus jokes.
Athena and Modi leave him to his own devices and meets the gods at the arena all the residents of Olympus gathered in one area to watch the god of war and the outsider go head to head. Modi stand on one side of the arena. Athena comes up to him and kisses him on the cheek.
"Good luck my champion," Athena wishes to her friend. Modi smiles toward her.
"Fear not my darling, I can handle him," Modi assures her.
Ares stands on the other side of the Arena ready for battle. Then Zues stands from his thrown.
"Attention my brothers and sisters! We are here to judge the worth of this outsider who claims to be a god of wrath. My son Ares shall test this mans breaking point. Showing us what kind of god he truly is. So now without further ado. Start the fight!" Zues announces. The two gods circle each other waiting for one to go first.
Finally after awhile Modi snaps his fingers calling his axe to his hand and Ares takes his sword and the two run at each other. And their weapons Collide.
