I thought to myself "that sounds pretty cool, at least I'm not a fucking goat with a snake coming out of my ass."
My body which floated in the void started glowing with molecules of light forming into the center of my chest taking shape of a triangle with a spartan helmet logo in its center.
"You will now be transported into Olympus the town of beginnings and be reborn through the spirit gate in the forest of Aranyani."
"You may choose one item to create or bring from your old world to aid in your new one..."
"Hmmm interesting the gift that keeps on giving, what should I choose, this could make or break the system for me, but I know one thing I'm sure of and that's not bringing a fucking smartphone, I mean how stupid is that...a magic smartphone".
I knew I had to make sure to get the specifics right, "World System may I ask, can I bring any item and enchant it to how I desire it to be or will it just be an ordinary item like my smartphone being a normal calling device".
There I go again with the smartphone reference, that anime I watched must been more grating on my nerves than I remembered.
"Answer: You may choose an item and only have one specific enchantment aligned with its characteristics, if it is a smartphone it has to act within its capabilities and intent as a phone such as calling someone...you would not be able to enchant it to shoot fireballs...."
That made sense...the item's enchantment should be aligned to its properties and intent.

As I pondered on my choice deeper, "wait hold on what item should I use for my storage? A box is too bulky to travel with and a pouch is too obvious to be stolen from."
I peered into the void deep in thought and noticed in the flashback of memories, "wait that's a memory card on my desk!"
I smirked and announced confidently; "World System! Create a bio compatible memory card and enchant it with infinite storage!".
.... a long silence followed as the world system processed my request, just as I started to worry that it would be impossible to create, "Ping! Request Accepted, infinite storage system will now begin integration."
I turned my left hand and noticed a tattoo of a 3D storage box has been carved into the palm of my hand.
"Character setting completed, begin transfer." Somehow, I could feel the sensation of the new magicubes imbued in my body being ripped apart and drifting into the spatial portal created. I had a final look at my past life, in my last moments eyes softening as if regretting not having lived a full life and dying so disgracefully.
My vision clears and was soon greeted by regal horns of old being played with lutes being strung magically welcoming my presence into this new world.
"Welcome to the town of beginnings Yuujiro Haruki" as I was greeted by a voluptuous Greek woman scantily clad in Greek white robes. "God damn!" almost losing my mind at her beauty.
"Are you the goddess Aranyani the guardian of this forest?"
With an impressed demeanor she smiled, "how every perceptive of you to have remembered and assumed correctly. Please let me assist in helping you get your bearings and a brief introduction of this world you are in".
"You are in the world of Elysium, the world which accepts all after life. The center of the omniverse hidden right in its center where only a select few are given a second chance at life, mostly those who died early". As she outstretched her smooth arms with grace beckoning me to take in my surroundings.
This moment as if having been stuck in a thick fog I could clearly see the world what it was for the first time. We were atop the highest mountain in the land with lands of flora and fauna stretching for miles. Mystical beings akin to angels floating the air as the sun sets in the horizon a feeling of enchantment and excitement fills my heart.
"A lifetime of adventure awaits you" as a rousing trumpet and violin melody is played softly in the back. "Just promise me you'll help to save this world from the evils surrounding it.
"What kind of evils lurk here goddess? where everything grows in abundance and magic is rich in the air".
"Well, the other side of this world is plagued by demons and ancient evils that turns all to ruin, they slaughter all to claim territories and spread their foul magic. We have been at war for 1000 years and neither side has managed to gain an advantage over the other".
"Help us hero in vanquishing them and ascend to the highest place we offer where beauties and pleasure are plentiful." As we sat side by side in silence for a while, I turned my neck slowly towards the goddess with a firm and determined look in my eyes.
The goddess as if slightly repulsed and awkward worried that it would not entice me to help their cause "Are you alright hero we can offer other rewards too if you'd like?"
"No need, this right here is my life goal!" as I stood up confidently and pointed into the stars above smirking and thinking that I must be looking pretty damn cool right now. I chill gust of wind blew across me, my nose started dripping. "Wow it's really cold here in Elysium".
Not realizing that I had been transported fully naked and still rock hard. With the flagpole pointing north straight at the goddess' face almost jabbing her in the eyes.
Realizing this I shamefully and hurriedly squatted down hiding the short sword and family jewels.
Chuckling to herself politely the goddess then stood up and began a grandiose gesture as if weaving magic in the air "Alright hero let me send you where you need to be to get started and let's get you clothed as well."
As I feel my body beginning to teleport again, "Will I see you again goddess? After bringing peace to this world".
A smile beams across her face lighting up her surrounding magically, "we shall meet again and that's a promise, and oh don't worry or be ashamed, because your sword that almost poked my eye out is actually the largest in this world of Greek gods and demons" as she winked and bid me farewell.
