Through the many Wild Beast parts that Dian has been selling off in the Hunter's Agency in the past couple of days, he amassed a small fortune of almost 100,000 tollys, excluding the sum he has sent to his family, which was of equal value. Using a percentage of that money to buy a bunch of low grade level 2 Wild Beast meat to consume, Dian who had only become a low grade Lieutenant rank Martial Artist not long ago with strength equaling that of a low grade level 2, managed to progress further and became a mid grade Lieutenant rank Martial Artist.
Though, even with his newfound strength that allowed him to face mid grade level 2 Wild Beasts, Dian Dom feared for his life at this moment, as in front of him, stood, what he could only assume to be the partner of the slain perfection grade level 2 Curved Claw Ape, and this ape standing before him seemed to be even stronger than the dead one which he was cutting up to pieces.
'I can only hope this new Curved Claw Ape isn't a level 3 Wild Beast, otherwise, I have no hope to survive' Dian immediately forsake the beast corpses and began sprinting in the complete opposite direction of the Curved Claw Ape. Dian knew that the Curved Claw Ape will soon begin chasing after him, as Wild Beasts don't have a high degree of intelligence, and the Curved Claw Ape saw him holding the cut up corpse of his partner, so this ape will undoubtedly think that he was the one who killed his spouse and will try to kill him for revenge.
Luckily for Dian, the Curved Claw Ape was stunned for a couple of seconds, as it was shocked by seeing the dismembered corpse of his spouse, this allowed Dian to get a head start on the ape.

Soon, Dian heard a deep scream that reverberated throughout the entire forest, this scream was many times stronger than the one released by the previous battle between the already dead rhino and ape.
"Fuck! Fuck! It's definitely not a level 2 Wild Beast with a scream like this." Dian said worriedly while sprinting as fast as he could, the ape was already on his tail, and Dian could hear him get closer and closer as time passed. While running away, Dian thought of ways he could survive this and get out of this situation while taking out the many new disposable attacks, weapons and ammunition he had bought with his money the past few days.
On his back were three new knives of similar size to the previous ones, but those new knives were sharper and made of rare metal that was way more expensive, on his belt were hung a bunch of new bullets, each of them being poisonous bullets, made from the poison glands of a level 2 poisonous Wild Beast and on the sides of his belt were two submachine guns. Other than that, Dian had 12 level 3 poison bullets which cost him a fortune, Dian only planned to use those in the case his life was in danger, he decided that now was a good opportunity.
The level 3 Curved Claw Ape has been chasing Dian Dom for almost 8 minutes now, at this point the Curved Claw Ape could see Dian clearly, and he would only need a couple more minutes to catch up and kill him.
The ape was completely bloodthirsty and enraged right now, considering this, Dian intentionally ran in a way that included many turns and sneaking around, he knew the forest like his right hand at this point after almost six years of hunting in this forest, as he hunted exclusively in this forest since becoming a registered hunter 5 years ago at the age of 16. While this Curved Claw Ape seemed to be surprisingly unfamiliar with the terrain of the Ginger Forest, as if it's its first time in the forest.
This was what allowed Dian to evade the level 3 Wild Beast for almost 10 minutes, continuing with the chase, Dian saw the destination he planned to arrive at, a small mountain wall appeared before him, on the bottom of the mountain wall a cave entrance could be seen.
"Finally! I made it to the cave! Luckily it was nearby, any further and I wouldn't be able to reach it!" Dian said to himself, this cave was the same cave he explored thoroughly while searching for the Red Spotted Tiger, and it was also the same cave he fought and killed the tiger in.
'While I was exploring the cave previously, I found many dead ends along the way while searching for the heart of the cave, in one of those dead ends, I saw a section of mountain wall that was dangerously close to collapsing and smashing onto the ground with the weight of the small mountain. If I could somehow manage to entrap the Curved Claw Ape in the there and collapse the cave ceiling on him, the massive weight should be able to easily kill him even if he is a level 3 Wild Beast'.
