"Huh! Wow my Aiza met someone. Who's that lucky guy? You towards him or he towards you? What does he do?...?" Humera kept asking Aiza questions. Omu got irritated and spoke up.
"HE'S JUST SOMEONE SHE KNOWS!".
Everyone gets silent and looks towards him. Naira bumps her arm to him. Realising he apologizes for the commotion.
"Omu! what's wrong?" his mother was surprised. He wasn't the type to raise his voice like that.
"No...Mm it's just...you were not letting her speak".
"Oh! sorry. So Aiza who's he?".
"No aunt. It's as that kid said he's my senior from my school days and now we both go to the same Uni. We met coincidentally. He was here to meet his relatives and by chance, we met at the beach".
"Hmm was it really a coincidence?" aunt doubted.
Aiza opposed it strongly. Then seeing her aunt chuckle she felt teased.
While getting their food served, they ate while chatting and then left the restaurant.
Leaving their car parked at the restaurant, they went to visit the beach. They all walked around and drank juices.
"AH!". Humera suddenly stumbled while walking. Aiza and the two kids went to her and asked. She had worn high sandals and twisted her ankle while walking on the sand. Aiza immediately made her sit on a nearby bench and checked on her. She compresses her ankle with a packed cold drink for a while.
Placing her aunt in the back seat, Aiza said that she would drive.
"Aunt, there's a hospital nearby, let's drive there!".
Though her aunt refused saying it was small matter, Aiza drove to the hospital and medicated her.
As they were walking out Aiza heard her name called out.
"Aiza?", she saw Saad from a distance.
"Hey! are you okay, why are you here?". Aiza explained the situation.
Just as she finished talking, her aunt came out after her checkup. Seeing Aiza with someone she asked about him.
"Aunt, he's my senior, the one whom I spoke about".
Saad introduced himself and aunt began her conversation.
"My goodness! What a fine young man...", as she was speaking, Omu interrupted. "Ma, we must leave".
"oh!...I'm sorry but we gotta leave now".
"Get well soon ma'am". Aiza too greeting him walked away with her aunt. But Omu ignored Saad with an expressionless look.
Naira was in the car and with Aiza driving they all returned home.
When Aiza with her mother went to visit Humera, Aiza was asked if she could drop Naira and Omu at their school until she recovers.
Though Aiza agreed without hesitation, Omu refused.
"Mom! I'm a college student now, I can walk on my own". Hearing aunt laughed, ''Do you know the way?''.
Even Sabi agreed with her sister, then after a lot of hesitation, Omu agreed. Naira was a soft girl with a kind heart. Though growing up in a foreign country, she wasn't mannerless and arrogant. She listened as her mother said.
Then the next day, the three began their days together. Naira's school was nearby to her house but Omu's, he and Aiza takes the same route.
''So Naira, have you made friends?''.
''Uh! y-yes sister''.
''Mmm, let me be honest here. I know that it must be awkward and uncomfortable to suddenly meet up with someone after years and start getting along with them. But, though I'm a single child I'll try to be an enjoyable sister to you both and I would like you two to be honest with me too with your feelings okay?''. she expressed herself with a comfortable and caring attitude.
Naira nodded with an agreed feeling and had her head patted while Omu kept silent.
''Waa! so nervous'', Aiza whispered. But the two heard her and Naira chuckled.
''Ah! did you hear that, hehe!''.
Sending Naira to school, Aiza and Omu began their walk to their school. They didn't have much conversation besides Aiza asking Omu about his college life and his days and Omu giving short replies.
''Does he not like to talk? It's so awkward'', Aiza thought.
Just like that days went by and Aiza's aunt recovered from her injury.
