The next day, Naira and Aiza left home together. They even met Omu on the way.
"Morning brother!".
"Morning Naira....Hmm morning?". he turned when he greeted Aiza. Aiza replied back chuckling thinking he was shy.
"Brother you know yesterday it was really fun with sis. She has soo many books in a laarge shelf. She even reads manga and comics like me...".
Naira was expressing herself but was stopped by Omu patting her head. "Well as long as you enjoyed".
Then after Naira left for her school, Omu said, "Well thanks for looking after my sister. She doesn't get along with anyone so soon but I guess she admires you". he said while touching his nape.
"Are you jealous? Aiza bends forward while looking at Omu.
Omu was startled, "WHY WOULD I BE?".
"Aish my ears, you didn't have to shout. It's just that your sister is living with her new big sis leaving her only brother. Well you too are welcome to come and we could enjoy together, what say?".
Omu held his breath as he thought something, "Hmm...No!".
"Sure enough, what would a boy do when there are two girls where one is younger and the other elder? If it was a girl of the same age then I think it must be a lot better, right? Say, do you have a girlfriend or some secret lover?". She shrugged and said.
Omu suddenly looked at her which surprised Aiza then he stepped, "Let's go or we'll be late!"
Aiza was in thought while having her lunch in the canteen.
"HEY GIRL!", Charan shook her by the shoulder.
"Ah! Oh! you back?". She was in a daze.
Charan and Shreya looked at each other and then looked at Aiza.
Shreya asked Aiza what she was thinking.
Aiza letting out a sign said, ''Do you feel uncomfortable or annoyed with me? Or am I trouble?'', she whispered.
''Huh! What are you saying?''. The two laughed aloud hearing her.
''What are you up to?''. Shreya asked.
Aiza spoke about her cousins and how she is getting along with them.
''You see whenever I speak, he either shouts back replying or ignores my question. Even if I ask him anything he would give only a single word making the conversation end there. Does he find me annoying? I don't understand this boys, haish'', she said signing.
Charan was surprised to hear Aiza worried about a boy's behaviour.
''Aiza, why are you so worried about his behaviour? It isn't like you''.
''Huh! don't think nonsense. I just wanted to get along with him. He's my brother after all''.
''Hmm...it must be that he doesn't like to talk to you much since you are an elder or he must be in his rebellious phase. My brother was like that, not talking, shouting when he wasn't listened to and all''.
Aiza wasn't getting anything about Omu.
''But you know his little sister is so cute. She is in 8th grade. She is staying with us for a few days. Though she was a quiet girl she sure is lovely''. Aiza was bragging about her sister that Shreya got tired and went away.
Charan laughed at Aiza.
It was time when Naira was returning her house.
''Well Aiza why don't you take Naira around the city? Yeah, why don't tag Omu along too? Heard he just finished his class tests. He would get some relaxation''. Aiza's ma suggested.
Naira was excited and would be wearing a dress which her aunt had given her.
Now Aiza was in a tight spot as to where to take the kids for an outing. As her aunt had said, she wasn't much of an outdoor person. Besides parks and libraries, she never went anywhere. Her clothes too were online shopped or bought by her mother.
''Aish, never got this worked out to dress up, than I'm thinking for an outing place". she thought.
Aiza had a few days to think about the places. But having her tests too going on she was focused on her studies.
"Hello, Aiza!". It was Saad. He was on his way to the canteen when he saw Aiza staring out the corridor window.
"Good evening senior", she greeted.
"Evening. How did your exams go?"
"It was alright. But still scared about the results".
"Hmm...anything wrong? Don't look much alright".
