Isabelle started rubbing my leg and gave me a flirtatious smile. "I am at your service, hero."
I removed her hand and said, "Sorry, but I'm saving my first time for someone special."
"Oh, of course." Isabelle started walking back to the door but took out a key quickly, locking the door.
"Um, what are you doing?" An evil grin appeared on her face, and she slowly made her way to my bed.
"I'm sorry, hero, I have been struggling for far too long." She climbed on top of me and put her knees on my shoulder to prevent me from moving.
"You will give me a child, and I will be made a noble by the kingdom, but don't worry, I snuck some Aphrodisiacs in there, and you'll be having as much fun as I am in a few minutes."
I tried to push her away, but her strength was too much. I looked at Nightmare and pleaded, Please save me, God."
Nightmare's eye split in two and revealed rows of sharp teeth: "You really think I would help you; you're just my entertainment, remember and if you continue like this, not only will I devour you but I'll destroy your dimension as well."
I slowly raised my hand and cupped Isabelle's face.
"So you've finally accepted your fate."
With one swift motion, I slit her throat with the small razor I hide in my sleeve. Blood began gushing onto the bed, and she fell to the ground with a thud. Nightmare cheered, "Bravo, bravo human! You're a natural killer, aren't you, and where did you get that blade?"
"I Live in a not-so-safe area, so I always keep it on me as for knowing what she was up to; no maid is working at midnight, and it's pretty obvious that she drugged the food; nobody wants anyone to eat that bad, speaking of drugs." I jumped out of bed and began throwing up. I quickly made my way to the door at the end of the hallway, which I assumed to be the bathroom. I opened the door and was surprised that this world had plumbing.
I grabbed the bucket next to the toilet and started filling it up soon after I opened the door where the bathroom had been. I then carried it into my room and placed it on the floor. "What exactly are you doing now, human?" I grabbed my bag and began emptying it of all the books. I removed the bottom, revealing a secret compartment containing all of my necessities." I took a bottle and started pouring it into the bucket. "It's vinegar and soap, and it's used to remove blood stains." I gathered the sheets and placed them in the bucket.
Now I had to get rid of the body.
I began carrying the corpse to the window on my shoulder.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I threw the corpse outside into the bushes below and hopped down, knowing I was only on the first floor.
Two men wearing steel-plated armor came to investigate the noise, but likely due to their helmets impairing their vision, they left as quickly as they arrived. I took Isabelle's corpse and began searching the castle for a suitable hiding place. "You know, human, this place isn't very well guarded for a castle." What do you think?" Nightmare turned to face a dimly lit alleyway lined with stacked boxes. " I started walking slowly there and replied, "I thought you weren't going to help me." "It saves time because you would have seen it anyway." I 'gently' threw the corpse over the boxes and adjusted them so it was hidden.
After a few moments, I returned to my room and started washing the sheets. "Jack, why don't you tell Dennis instead of going through this whole situation?" With your position, I'm confident you'll be able to get away with it. "Wouldn't that be less fun for you, and besides, I know nothing about the world's laws and rules?" Maybe I could do that on Earth." I finished the sheet and placed it on the bed; after all, a wet sheet was more excusable than a bloody one. Only the blanket and the floor remained. I dipped a sponge in water and started scrubbing the floor.
After half an hour, my room was spotless and probably better than before. I collapsed to the floor, completely exhausted.
"I think it's time I reward you for your hard work."
A dark red aura began to surround me. All my fatigue vanished.
"What did you do to me?"
"Check for yourself."
A strange RPG-like screen popped up in front of me.

[nightmare's eye LV2]
I tapped my name.
description: your name
nightmare chuckled and said, "You do know what your name is, don't you?"
I tapped Race..
Description: As a human alone in a world of demons and angels, you have explored heaven and hell, rejected both, and realized the truth of the world. You are neither a demon nor an angel, light or darkness, good or evil. You are as human as can be.
What's this philosophical nonsense?
"Nightmare's eye?"
Description: The eyes of an unknown entity allow the user to see beyond the norm. Capabilities increase with each level.
"Why's it on level 2?"
"Well, human, you gained another skill, hero's eye, when you went through that ritual, but unfortunately, the nature of my powers doesn't like to coexist with anything, so it absorbed it." "You should think about telling me things sooner."
I climbed on top of my bed and tried to sleep, but it was nearly impossible due to Isabelle's dish and Nightmare's ability to restore my energy. I finally gave up and walked over to the window sill. I'm sure there's no law in the world that makes smoking illegal, right? I took a cigarette from my pocket and lit the tip. I heard a knock on the door and a familiar voice. "Are you there, Hero?" It was Dennis.
