Chapter 5 - The Enigmatic Plan

Uncle Zeke was stunned immediately he entered Ivana's chamber. He stood there staring at his niece who raised an eyebrow expecting him to say something but the words refused to come out.

Rama shrugged her shoulders and left the room without uttering a word to her Uncle since she didn't know what actually sent her to her teacher's room.

Ivana bit her lips and waited for uncle Zeke to talk as well but it seems he was dumbfounded because of the situation he just saw earlier.

"Excuse me". He finally said and left the room without saying why he came there. His mind were full of questions that he needed answers to.

He head towards Rama's chamber contemplating whether to ask her or not. He knocked in the door and Yha quickly opened it for him.

He saw Rama lying on her bed with her eyes closed as soon as he entered her chamber. Rama knew her uncle will come after her after that encounter so she had to pretend as if she had fallen asleep.

"Rama, can I have a word with you?" He asked but no response came from her. "I won't take much of your time, just some few minutes" He said again but Rama didn't respond to him.

He knew she won't say anything to him after sometime so he thought the best thing to do is to go back to Ivana's chamber and find out what happened.

He left Rama's chamber and went back to the dining room and asked someone to call Ivana for him.

Meanwhile, Ivana kept standing at where the Princess and her uncle left her. She still couldn't process the whole thing since she didn't expect the princess in her room all of a sudden.

She dragged her feet slowly and sat on her bed still thinking. She couldn't believe she's already having a hard time with the princess before her classes with her begins.

As she stood up to leave her room, she was informed the princess's uncle requested to see her.

She hoped she hasn't gotten herself into any troubles yet. She quickly left her chamber and head towards the dining room. Uncle Zeke was seen spacing up and down patiently waiting for Ivana.

As Ivana walked in, he stopped spacing out and watch her get close to him. "What was going on between you two?" He quickly asked as soon as Ivana got nearer to him.

"I'm sorry your highness... I don't know what you talking about" Ivana answered while bowing in respect.

He shrugged his shoulders before asking the next question. He didn't want to scare to her since she hasn't done anything wrong by being with the princess but being with her all of a sudden was suspicious.

"Why did Rama come to your chamber?" He asked again. "I don't know your highness. I'm still surprised as you are please" she said.

"I see... Did she mention to you why she came?" He asked again and Ivana nodded telling him she has no idea. "It's alright, you can go back.... But mind you, Rama's safety is my first priority so bare that in mind".

He warned and Ivana understood what he meant by that. Ivana excused herself and left him in the dining room. She needed to clear her mind and prepare herself for the lesson she's starting tomorrow with the princess.

As she walked around the palace trying to clear her mind, she suddenly saw the princess Standing in some garden with her back facing her.

She wondered what was eating her up. She thought she should approach her and talk to her but remembered she was just there to train her but not to interfere in her personal matters.

She turned to leave then she stopped. She heard her name being mentioned from behind. She quickly turned and saw Rama looking at her direction.

Her heartbeat increased when Rama started walking towards her direction. She became tensed up again the moment she got closed to her.

Rama stare at her trying to figure out what to say to her but nothing came on her mind. Without uttering a word to her, she held her hand and started walking towards the palace door.

Ivana held her breathe the moment Rama held her hand. She couldn't believe she held her hand all of a sudden without even asking her first.

She glanced at their hands that held each other then sent her gaze back to the princess who kept walking without telling her where they were going to.

Luckily, uncle Zeke happened to be passing by so he saw them from a distance. He widened his eyes the moment he saw Rama holding her teacher's hand. He needs to find out what she was up to before anything happens.

"Rama!" He called out then Rama stopped walking. She turned and saw her uncle standing behind them. She cursed within herself wondering what her uncle wanted from her as at that moment.

She needed to go out of the palace without her uncle noticing but here she is facing her uncle. He walked to them and glanced their their hands again. Ivana saw the look on his face so she quickly let go off Rama's hand.

Rama saw what happened. She didn't like the way her uncle had being making her teacher uncomfortable anytime she's with her. She understands he's trying to protect her but she knows Ivana won't hurt her anyway.

So she quickly held Ivana's hand again and looked at her uncle. Uncle Zeke creased his brows on Rama's sudden action but said nothing since Rama will still do what she wants.

"Where are you taking her to?" He finally asked bringing his attention back to them. "Somewhere" she answered.

"Somewhere?" He repeated. "Yes somewhere" she said again. Rama turned to leave but her uncle stopped her. "Do you mind telling me where that somewhere is?" He asked again though he knows she won't mention it to him.

"Outside" she answered and he knew what she was talking of. Rama was taking her teacher out of the castle. "Don't stop me this time" she said walking away from him before he could ask his next question.

"This girl!" He cursed and watch them walk away. Rama got to the door and the guards refused to let her go. Rama looked over her shoulders expecting her uncle to say something but he didn't.

After standing there for a minute, her uncle suddenly nodded his head and the guards understood him. They paved way for the princess and opened the big door for her then she walked out of the palace still holding her teacher's hand.
