FLASHBACK
Last night, uncle Zeke went to Ivana's chamber to talk to her about her relationship with the princess. He met her returning from somewhere he had no idea of. "Follow me I need to talk to you". He informed her and Ivana nodded and followed him quietly to the garden.
"You wanted to talk to me, your highness" she said as soon as they got to the garden. "I don't like the way you and the princess are getting close of late" He stated going straight to the point. He has no time to play around.
Ivana was shocked with the sudden revelation from the princess's uncle. "I want you to keep your distance away from her. Focus on why you are here... Can you do that?". He watched Ivana quietly and knew she was hurting and indecisive on what he was asking her to do.
He saw her clenching on her dress but eventually loosen up after a brief silence. "Rest assured your highness, I will do exactly that". She answered.
Uncle Zeke smiled "Good.... you can leave now" he said and Ivana quickly left the garden feeling broken within. Uncle Zeke's words kept ringing in her head and she couldn't process the whole thing.
Why does she have to stay away from someone she adores most. She was hurt and didn't know where the tears came from then her tears started falling below her cheeks.
She wiped her tears and told herself she can do it. She entered her room and vented her anger on the chair infront of her. "He wants me to stay away from her and you will do just that.... It's going to be fine Ivana!" She assured herself and left herself on the bed thinking about the princess.
She slept off eventually crying herself to bed.
BACK TO PRESENT.
Rama followed Ivana but Ivana kept ignoring her without stopping to talk to her. She doesn't want to be seen with her anymore since uncle Zeke might eventually set spies around.
"Ivana!" Rama called out but then Ivana still ignored her and entered her room, banging the door Infront of the princess. Just a day with her trying not to talk or ignore the princess was hurting her to the core.
She didn't know where the tears came from and she started crying again. How can she continue ignoring her this way. Why does she have to go through all this pain.
Rama, who was till confused and processing what happened, didn't understand the whole thing. She gritted her teeth and left the door, going back to her hideout.....
Days went by quickly with Ivana still keeping her distance from the princess. Uncle Zeke was impressed with what she was doing and he's glad with what he was praying for not to come pass was not coming true either.
How is he supposed to explain to the people about the princess's relationship. For him, he doesn't mind her having an affair with anyone but since she's a royal princess and a matter of fact a heiress to the throne, he won't seat and watch her going astray.
But Rama's condition was not helping either. She refuses to eat nor talk to anyone unless she's going out to have her classes. She keeps herself in her hideout and ignores everyone that comes to her.
She doesn't even allow her favorite maid to attend to her anymore just because Ivana was not giving her that attention she used to to give to her.
She missed her alot especially with her always getting on her nerves. One day during their usual lessons, Ivana was now training her how to use the sword since she "Rama" has learned how to use the arrows and bows perfectly.
As she was training her, Rama mistakenly used the sword on Ivana and she "Ivana" lost her balance with the sword leaving a cut on her left arm. Rama was shocked with what just happened and didn't mean to hurt her with the sword.
She left her sword on the floor and rushed to Ivana's aid but Ivana raised her hand stopping her from getting nearer to her "Don't!" She said holding her left arm that was now bleeding.
Rama cursed within and this time around, she wasn't going to let her words get to her. She ignores Ivana's words, bending down and held her up. "Don't touch me!" Ivana said pushing the princess away from her.
"Why are you so stubborn huh?" Rama said angrily. Why will she prevent her from helping since she was bleeding. "Okay that's it!... Why do you keep pushing me away from you? why do you keep ignoring me? Why!!" Rama vented her anger on the wall hitting it hard as well. She got injured with it but she didn't care about it.
Ivana gasped and rushed towards the princess forgetting she was hurt also. "Don't touch me". Rama said stopping her from holding her "how does it feel huh? You think it easy?!" Ivana stood there with tears rolling down her cheeks.
Why do they have to end in this situation all of a sudden. She wiped her tears, cut some part of her dress and tied up the princess's hand. "I'm sorry" she said and left Rama at the training ground.
She run as fast as her legs could carry her going straight into her room and locked herself up. She couldn't stop the tears she was holding for so many days. She was hurt and still can't mention anything to Rama. She was doing what she was asked to do but she didn't know her actions could hurt the princess at end.
Rama looked at her hand that was tied up with Ivana's piece of clothes. For once, Ivana has touched her again. She missed her so much and just a touch from her gave her strength to push harder.
She doesn't understand why everything about Ivana keeps hurting and making her happy at the same time. She didn't know what those feelings meant and she thought, getting close to her will help her understand what she was actually feeling towards.
Uncle Zeke was passing by and saw Rama standing alone with her gaze fixed on her hand. He walked up to her and saw her hand being tied up with a piece of clothe. He could see blood stains in it then quickly ordered the maids to bring the first aid box.
He sat her down, cleaned up the blood stains and bandage the hand with a clean clothe. He looked at her but Rama was lost in thoughts and he wondered what was going on with her.
"Your highness, are you okay?" He asked her but Rama sat there without speaking a word to him. "Excuse me, Uncle" She finally said and left him.
She went back to her chamber asking Yha to get her bath prepared. She needs to clear her head because she couldn't think straight any longer.
"Does she care about me that much?" Rama asked herself when she entered her bath. "If she cares about me, why is she ignoring and avoiding me?" She asked herself again.
She relaxed herself in the bathtub thinking of what to do. "I have to see her tonight" she added picking up the soap and washed herself quickly and left the washroom.
