As another day dawned, Kuber roused from his sleep with a yawn. Sunlight streamed through the window, casting a warm glow within the room. A single bed stood in one corner, while an empty bookshelf occupied another.
"Nice place. Rent here is way more affordable than my previous city," Kuber mused as he got up and headed downstairs with light steps. In the hall, Leona and Luna were busy preparing breakfast.
"Kuber, you're awake!" Leona's cheerful voice greeted him, her mood reflecting her delight at finally having a comfortable home within the tower.
"Yeah, set up breakfast, please," Kuber requested, taking his seat at the table and readying himself to eat. Leona and Luna returned to the kitchen to complete the meal preparations.
Meanwhile, Kuber summoned his status screen once again.
