Waiting patiently and at the same time impatiently, Sullivan called for the witch who was yet to be done with whatever he said he was doing.
Lady Amelia, who sat beside Sullivan, both waiting for the witch, looked at her side and asked, "Your Grace, have you been to Beddington before?"
Sullivan refused to reply while Damien, who was standing at one corner of the room, replied instead, "This is not his first time, so yes."
Without taking a glance at Damien, she inquired again, "Your Grace, are there..." She paused as if speculating whether to ask him or not.
Damien already knew what was going to come out from those lips of hers, he immediately signalled to her not to ask any stupid question but despite Lady Amelia capturing whatever he was trying to converse, she insisted. "Your Grace, do night creatures exist in Beddington too, just like we have here? What about other kingdoms in the Empire?"
