Chapter 27 - His Deteriorating Health

Back in Ashmore Dukedom.

In a pristine castle on the third floor, Sullivan was found in one of his private drawing rooms, sitting on a wooden seat while he writhed in pain.

The drawing room looked splendid even in the early of dawn, however, the curtains were pulled down and the only source of light was from the lit candles on the gold chandelier attached to the centre of the white ceiling.

As a result of the overall white painted walls, the drawing room looked brighter than it was meant to be albeit not too large a space that it possessed.

On one part of the drawing-room, where Sullivan sat, there was a larger white sofa which was rather too comfortable for three people, regarding the spaces taken by the pillows that were stuffed at the right and left.

Further across the sofa, was another, but a small one whose colour though blue, held little to no contrast to the whiteness of the room.
