Arielle glanced at Jane, who gave a subtle nod of agreement. "Alright, be careful, Fiona."
But then Jane changed her mind swiftly, agreeing to check with Fiona because she could feel that the younger woman was scared of staying alone. "Arielle, it is better we stay here and confirm before we go to announce of her disappearance. We need to confirm before spreading a rumour we are not sure about."
Arielle didn't agree, she shook her head and told them both, "She would be a fool to be asleep and not hear even a knock on her door. This issue might get out of hand, so I need to inform the higher-ups while you check on her."
Jane nodded but Arielle thought she did not convince her enough. "To be sure, I have to go and check if she is still in the bar. I heard she was summoned to the bar where Duke James was and they both had a conversation together. Surprising...Duke James could not shun her up like the others."
Fiona questioned, "Really?"
