Chapter 51 - The Bet

Grayson stood aside, allowing her to go on her way unperturbed. He looked at her as she walked away, his eyes holding abysmal lustful desire until he felt a hand tap his shoulder, knowing who it was, he slowly turned around to see his two friends.

Prince Ezekiel, crown prince of the neighbourhood kingdom and Sir Hunter, one of the respected young knights in Beddington were two close friends of the second prince. By now, everyone was so familiar with them as they were often seen together.

"Was that a rejection?" Prince Ezekiel whose hand was on Grayson's shoulder as he tried to stifle a laugh questioned, eyes feigning suspicion.

Holding tight the hand on his shoulder and bending it to an uncontrollable extent while Prince Ezekiel bit his lips trying to free his hand from him, Grayson uttered, "It isn't, brute." He looked ahead at the young woman who had just taken a turn. "It was very easy, man. I told you she is cheap."
