Andrea was glad to stretch her legs as she walked out of the courthouse. It was tiring to be on her feet for a long time, like she sometimes was during lengthy cross examinations. But being sat at her desk without a break could be just as tiring.
"So," said Kyle, as he climbed into Andrea's car. "Where to for lunch?"
"Don't know yet," said Andrea, as she pulled out into traffic.
"Are we thinking food truck, take out, sit down…?" prompted Kyle.
"Probably sit down," said Andrea.
"Alright, I have some ideas of places we could go," said Kyle.
Before he could start listing any off, Andrea said, "That's great, we'll keep them in mind for another day."
Kyle's confusion was confirmed by his silence. After a moment, he said, "So you do know where we're going to eat?"
"I have a plan," said Andrea. "But I don't know where we're going to end up eating."
