Chapter 3 - A chance to revenge

Arrrgh...why is it so noisy in the morning?" I said, opening my eyes only to see a guy and a girl both dressed in dark attire with heavy makeup, making me burst out in laughter. But looking around, I noticed something strange which put a stop to my laughter.

"This isn't my room," I said, inspecting the room which was decorated with dark furniture. Everything around me was dark, and just then, I looked at my attire. It was also black. Like, what the hell? Are we having a black party here that I'm not aware of?

Looking around the room made me feel dizzy, and those two were just staring at me like idiots until I yelled like a lion ready to devour its prey, making them tremble in fear.

"Welcome back, Your Highness," they both chorused, as they knelt down before me with their heads bowed.

"Who are you people and what am I doing here? I'm not good at acting in films, you know. And even if you want to use me for your movie, you shouldn't have kidnapped me. It's a crime under the law, you know that, right?" I said, but instead of getting a reply, those two only raised their heads to look at each other and bowed again, which infuriated me.

"You know what? Just get me your director. I want to see that damn director of yours!" I yelled angrily.

A lady dressed magnificently in black, decorated with some touches of gold and heavy makeup, was accompanied by two muscular guys. She was addressed by the title "General" by those two idiots bowing before me.

I was lost in my thoughts, admiring her, until I was brought back to reality by her. She addressed me as "Your Highness" as she bowed down before me, along with those two muscular guys.

"Are you the director? That's good then. What kind of law is this, kidnapping someone against their will just for your movie?"

"Kidnapping? What's that, Your Highness? Did Luli and Gang offend you again?" she asked, facing those two idiots, and I could sense anger in her tone, making those two plead for forgiveness before me.

"They didn't offend me. I just don't understand what's going on here," I said as I sighed heavily, and just then she moved closer to me.

"Yang Hua, stop pretending now. The council of elders is waiting for you at the inner court." She knows my name. I guess we're both kidnapped then.

"Kidnapped for this role too? Tell me, sister," I whispered in her ear, making her draw back away from me.

"We need your command to start the war. The Mount Hua sect is assembled at the mountain," she said, as she cast a spell which brought out a bright light that could blind anyone who opened their eyes.

"See this, Your Highness," the voice calmly said. I opened my eyes only to see groups of people dressed in white, blue, and red robes arranged horizontally, holding different dangerous weapons.

She continued to show me the faces of the people. "Wait! Can you go back a little bit?" I asked, but noticed she did not understand my words. Like, is she illiterate? Illiterates don't act in films.

"I mean go back. I want to see those faces again," I said, and she understood me this time.

"Isn't that Zhang Han? That bastard, what is he doing here too?" I yelled upon seeing him also dressed in a blue robe, holding a sharp-edged sword.

"Yes, Your Highness. He is the best among the disciples of Mount Hua, your biggest enemy," she said, and the words "biggest enemy" seemed to hit a spot in my heart.

"Oh! I get it now. You all heard about what he did, so you want to take revenge for me. Oh my god! I didn't know I'm this loved among my people," I said with a blush.

"What do you mean, Your Highness?" Luli, the girl from before, said with a worried and sad expression.

"You all know that I was betrayed, and you're willing to fight alongside me. It's not a TV drama after all," I said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Her Highness has been behaving strangely since she woke up," the guy called Gang said, making me angry.

What does he mean by that? Is he saying that I'm crazy? I thought, pushing him with all my strength. This goes beyond my expectations. Instead of him falling gently with my push, I saw him flying in the air and ending up crashing his back against the room pillar, which made him spit out a mouthful of blood.

I ran towards him, trembling in fear. Like, what the hell did I just do? I'm sure the police will be here any moment now for attempted murder, I thought amidst sadness and tears.

"Please make your way to the inner court, Your Highness," the lady said, pointing towards the door.

Is she blind? Can't she see there's a situation to take care of? I thought angrily.

"Do you want him to die? I'm only taking revenge on Zhang Han, not all the guys in the city. So get a doctor here," I said, but I guess she doesn't understand me again as she stood rooted in her spot.

"Arrrrrgh...Do you go to school at all? How were you able to become a movie director? Damn! This is too pathetic," I said with a furious look.

"Get someone to heal him or he might die!" I yelled, and she finally understood this time.

"Take him away from here," she ordered the two muscular guys, who dragged Gang out.

"But you are all my witnesses. I slightly pushed him. I don't know how he ended up flying," I said, only to be ignored.

I'm quite confused about what is going on now. I'll just take my revenge on that Zhang Han with the help of these loving people. Maybe it's a dream, but I'm not waking up from this dream until I take revenge, I thought.

"Let's go now, Your Highness," the lady's voice brought me back to reality as I followed her like a lamb going to be sacrificed.
