Heroic Spirits were speciality creations from the Heroic spirit Plane that possessed traits of both living beings and mystical entities. Some had resilient spirits while others could reproduce naturally.
The twin Heroic Spirits in Derek's quest seemed to be of the latter sort. They appeared almost as lively as people!
Derek was uncertain who locked the twins away in these boxes and made use of the powerful Yin-Yang Boxes - items that could birth guardian spirits were clearly no minor trinkets.
But it mattered not to Derek. Since opening the boxes had nought to do with his goal, breaking them was no issue. Of course, others saw things differently...
After Derek casually shattered the moon box, the old man wailed like a gust of wind. His form blew about as insubstantial as mist, clearly distraught at the damage.
