Derek continued watching the big fight in the distance. His plan was sneaking in disguised as an orc, but doubts stirred.
If the demons won and killed all the orcs, what was the point? And what if one orc caught him sneaking back, wouldn't that mean instant death? Surrounded like this, one slip up and death waited.
This plan carried huge risks. A single mistake could end him. Yet doing nothing kept Derek no closer to his goals. Staying out of the fight also held dangers, with nowhere safe to run if either army turned this way.
His attention fell on the leaders floating above, observing but not joining the fray. Neither moved though subordinates fell, avoiding devastating friendly fire from their immense strength. Simply put, they couldn't fight yet.
