Chapter 44 - The Web Of Shadows

(Marvel, DC, images, manhuas, and every anime that will be mentioned and used in this story are not mine. They all belong to their respective owners. The main character "Karito Josue Valdez" and the story are mine)

Karito Pov

I can't pinpoint the exact moment when it all began, these extraordinary feats that I suddenly possess. Before, my powers were limited to only the grandiose: canceling psychic abilities, hacking into anything I desire, and even manipulating portals and hacking into them. But everything took a peculiar turn after I found myself trapped amidst an endless array of stories in fiction. At first, I had hypothesized that I was somehow outside an omniverse, but I eventually came to call it "The Bridge", a library of infinite stories and infinite possibilities. Essentially, it's the internet but hashtagged in the stories section. Anything you can imagine, it's there. I took the liberty to study this dimension by myself whenever I was bored doing nothing in the Lycoris Recoil anime. However, this is where things get strange. When I first entered "The Bridge", I was struck with a sense of speechlessness. I couldn't quite comprehend what was around me, but I understood a bit of what it was but only a bit. After my fight with Scorpion and my stay in the Lycoris Recoil anime, I just... knew things that I didn't know before. It's as if something had implanted memories in me, or something similar. I'm not entirely sure, but it feels like past memories.

But I've become more intelligent than ever before. With the research I've conducted, new conclusions have been made. I now know for a fact that when I was in "The Bridge", every door adorned within "The Bridge" signified a story or a book. In other words, that is that story's Omniverse. For example, the door of Marvel is red and white. If I were to open that door, I would enter the Omniverse of Marvel and fall into a lower dimensionality, such as a Multiverse, in this case, because I would be able to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Marvel Fanfiction Universe, the Marvel Comics universe, and everything that involves Marvel. The same concept applies to different things, such as DC, anime, video games, tabletop games, TV shows, movies, etc.

One ponders what lies outside an Omniverse as a curious question. Some assume it to be a concept called "The Outside". The Outside is a space of nothingness that lies outside the Omniverse, and its diameter is equivalent to 100,000 Omniverses. Because of The Outside's configuration, it only consists of isolated pure existence -0 objects, which helps prevent The Barrel from causing immense entropy increase and chaos, as things would stuff The Barrel and create a mess of sub-structures. The Outside exists because nothingness is the opposite parallel to existence, implying that instead of nothingness forming chaos over time, nothingness forms order over time. These effects magnify as one gets closer to the edges of existence and nothingness due to stronger "competition". This explains why The Outside is so strict that it resists almost everything, even every nothing.

And for those who are asking "What is The Barrel?" Well, The Barrel is a concept that links the subsections of nothingness within The Box. The Barrels are hardly accessible from one another, and each one has its own "Barrel Index." The Barrels form chains above themselves, which are difficult to distinguish without a special classifier, the Barrel Index. The Index is based on a "nothingness level" and works for most barrels in each box. This concept helps determine the size of The Box and allows for accessibility to the outside of the Omniverse by being inaccessible from the inside.

These are just examples. I don't particularly know this theme completely.

But I've noticed something... That's just the cosmology in an Omniverse from a website. Their ideas are implemented in that one website, which creates their own fictional "Story" despite it being informative. It's the same thing with the SCP Foundation. It all started with a post and people loved it so much that it created an entire community. The Backrooms started with a picture and now it's just as complex as the SCP community. It's all a part of the fictional world, the ideas of people and their creative minds. "The Bridge" is a connection to all these stories. Everything exists on the internet. THAT is what "The Bridge" is. Nothing's on the bridge but stories where people like "us" enter to explore around that topic. Like a browser, we search for that topic and it gives us websites. Those are the doors to enter these fictional worlds and explore them. The informative websites that we look for whenever we have to do schoolwork. It's the internet itself in a fictional character's vision. While we see the internet as a tool for information, for me, it's become so much more. It's a gateway to a vast expanse of stories and universes, and it's given me a newfound understanding of the interconnectedness of it all.

It really reminds me of that animated movie, Wreck-It Ralph 2. The fact that the fictional characters wandered around the internet and the cloud. It's exactly like that now that I think about it but to a more complex level.

Before this war happened whenever I researched about "The Bridge" I sat on a table and pondered the theories and conclusions of cosmology that I've come up with, I can't help but reflect on the nature of truth and falsehood. The ideas that I've developed are going to be met with both acceptance and rejection by different groups of people. And it's in this realization that my abilities have started to become rather... strange.

I couldn't believe what I did at that time, I just went with the flow. Forcibly making it snow in the anime Lycoris recoil when it's not supposed to, the Darks being able to literally copy-paste the world of Web Of Shadows, and me forcibly ripping out the programming and going through all the steps of animating just to fix the anime. I knew what I saw and it felt like I entered the Matrix for a moment but then it changed into a comic book. I didn't know how to process it, how to understand it. It felt like my mind was being pulled in different directions, trying to make sense of the impossible. I knew I had gone through the anime's "Concept and script development", "Storyboarding", "Character and background design", "Animation", "Audio and voice acting", and "Post-production". But how in the hell is that possible with just me "programming" the entire anime back to normal? I tried to understand what was happening to me, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was missing something crucial, some key piece of information that would make everything make sense. I felt like I was on the brink of understanding something powerful, something that could change everything. But for now, it was just confusion and a strange source of power that I couldn't grasp... like at all.

Anyways, I brought up a rather confusing topic. It's not something people will understand from the get-go. Only I know what I'm talking about. Hopefully, I can find a better explanation for this "Cosmology" for others to understand a little better because right now all I'm saying is what I know and understand so far. I'm not 100% certain of my conclusions.

I'm going to close this topic here and not cause any more headaches.

Sigh

Alright... I'll end this recording, now.

Present Day

(Spider-Man) "NOOOOOOO!!!!"

I screamed as I saw Majima looming in the shadows behind Chisato. I couldn't believe I hadn't noticed him, not with my enhanced vision. My skill allowed me to see things from miles away, something that even an average human couldn't do. It was like the vision of a hawk but on steroids. And yet, somehow, Majima had managed to sneak behind Chisato, right within my field of vision, and remain hidden enough to launch a sneak attack. I couldn't let that happen. If Chisato died, the entire anime of Lycoris Recoil would die with her. I couldn't let the girl I had sworn to protect perish in front of me. The thought of it was unbearable. I couldn't let her die, not like this. I felt a surge of determination, of anger, of desperate resolve. I knew what I had to do. I had to stop Majima, no matter what it took. I wouldn't let him take away the one person that mattered most to me.

I need to save her...

I need to move fast. Incredibly fast. Faster than I've ever gone before. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest, my mind racing as I try to come up with a plan. But how do I do that? How can I gain enough speed to achieve such a feat? I think back to all the times I've pushed myself to the limit before, all the moments when I've needed to move quickly. But none of those instances were like this. This is different. This is life or death. I can feel the pressure building inside me, the sense of urgency that's pushing me forward. I can't let her die. I won't let her die. But how do I do it? How do I gain the speed I need to save her? My mind is a jumbled mess of thoughts, ideas, and possibilities. I can feel the desperation setting in, my mind frantically searching for a solution. I need to think! Think! But the seconds are ticking away, and I can feel the panic rising in my chest. I can't let her die. I won't let her die. But how do I move faster? How do I save her in time?

I can't think of anything! My mind is racing, but I can't seem to come up with a plan. She's just 100 meters away from me, but that sword of Majima's is almost going to touch her. No! I can't let that happen. I won't let that happen!

0.000000001 seconds...

I can feel the panic rising in my chest. I can't think of a way to save her in time.

0.000000034 seconds...

Suddenly, everything goes dark. I can't see anything. My mind is reeling, trying to make sense of what's happening.

0.000000134 seconds...

What's going on? Why is it so dark all of a sudden? Where am I? Am I in some kind of mental attack? Is someone shutting down my mind? If that's the case, where are they? I can't feel anything.

0.000000256 seconds...

DAMN IT! WAKE UP!

0.000000334 seconds...

And then, just as suddenly as it started, it's over. I regain consciousness and find myself holding Chisato in my arms. I look around, trying to make sense of what just happened, but everything is a blur. I see Majima, imprinted on the wall on the other side of the tower, as if he's been punched. But by whom?

(Chisato) "K-Karito... how did you do that?"

(Spider-Man) "Do what?"

(Chisato) "You suddenly moved so fast... it was like you teleported. And out of nowhere Majima was just sent flying to the other side of Enkuboku and I... was being carried by you... you just appeared out of nowhere..."

...

What? What the fuck?

I don't know what just happened. All I know is that Chisato is safe, and that's all that matters. But I can't shake off the feeling that something important just happened, something that I can't quite put my finger on. I know that I need to figure out what happened and how I was able to save Chisato, but for now, I'm just grateful that she's safe.

(Chisato) "Karito?"

(Spider-Man) "Chisa, I need you to go. I can't have you captured by Majima again."

(Chisato) "But what about you? You've been fighting nonstop for hours, are you sure you can keep going?" Places her hand on his cheek

(Spider-Man) "Does it look like I have a choice?" Toxin unmasks him

(Chisato) "Then we can fight him together w-we can..."

(Spider-Man) "This routine is getting tiresome Chisato."

(Chisato) "I'm sorry...It's just..."

(Spider-Man) "I'm mostly alone doing this... I know..." Places Chisato down

(Chisato) "Are you going to take care of Majima?"

(Spider-Man) "Shinji is still out there but if I defeat Majima and cut his deep connection with the Dark's I should be able to do the same to Shinji. I just don't have to necessarily be close to him to do the procedure."

KA-BOOM!

I felt a sudden shockwave hit my back, and I automatically covered Chisato. I looked back at the source of the sudden burst of energy and saw Majima. He looked more angry than hurt.

(Spider-Man) "Okay, time to go Chisato," I said as I opened a portal. "Hurry before he cancels out my ability."

(Chisato) She looked up at me with a mix of fear and determination in her eyes "Karito..." she said, her voice trembling.

(Spider-Man) "Yeah?" I asked, looking down at her.

(Chisato) "You better... come back" Hugs him"I love you..."

(Spider-Man) Hugs her back "...I love you too..."

(Dark Majima) Still dazed "Ngh... that fucking hurt. I blacked out for a minute there..."

Before Majima could pull any tricks I broke the hug between me and Chisato and made Toxin bond with her and take her away to the portal.

(Toxin) Telepathically to Karito "I'll fix her heart and keep her from getting too anxious."

(Spider-Man) Mentally "Thanks..."

(Chisato) "Karito?! What's going on?"

(Spider-Man) "You're gonna be fine." Smiles "I'll be back..." I promised

I saw Toxin and Chisato walk toward the portal and enter.

(Chisato) Sadly "Go get 'em... tiger." Portal closes

(Spider-Man) "Don't have to tell me twice."

(Dark Majima) "Are you done? All that lovely Dovey was starting to make me feel sick."

(Spider-Man) "Sounds like someone's weekends were always bad. But it's not just the weekends, it's every day for someone like you. A washed-up, pitiful excuse of a criminal who can't even handle a real fight without resorting to cheap tricks."

(Dark Majima) "You think you're better than me, Spider-Man? You're just a punk with a cheap suit and some fancy gadgets. I'll tear you apart and make you regret ever crossing me."

(Spider-Man) "You think a cheap suit and fancy gadgets make me who I am? You're wrong, Majima. I am Spider-Man. I am the hero that this city needs, and I will not be underestimated by a low-life criminal like you. I'll take you down, not because of my suit or gadgets, but because of my determination and willpower. And when I'm done, you'll realize that I am the superior one here."

(Dark Majima) "Alright... you're dead..."

(Spider-Man) "Those are gonna be your famous final last words? That's sad."

The two of us ran towards each other... ready with the intention to end each other's life.

No Pov

Spider-Man now with just his Miles Morales suit doesn't have the variety of abilities that he had with the Toxin suit. The reason he gave Chisato the suit is that she was going to die in just a few minutes if she didn't get her heart restored. She had used too much energy and her artificial heart was completely drained after surviving such a catastrophe earlier. The fact that she had to fight Majima made it even more crucial that she had the suit. The potions he gave her were more like an adrenaline rush to ignore the pain of her heart getting weaker and weaker. So, he had to give Toxin to her, even though fighting Majima is going to be a lot harder now. He knew that it was a sacrifice he had to make, even though it would be difficult. It was a decision that he made without hesitation, knowing that it was the only way to save Chisato because the heart was made by the Alan Institute... a place that was corrupted by the darks. Cursed technology.

Now that explanations are done, the fight shall now commence.

...

Spider-Man lunged toward Majima, his fist aimed at the symbiote's liver. The punch connected with a sickening thud, and Majima let out a roar of pain. But the symbiote was not one to be underestimated. It retaliated by shooting large amounts of tendrils at Spider-Man. The hero moved with lightning-fast reflexes, dodging the attacks with grace as the tendrils destroyed the floor of the tower. Spider-Man took advantage of the chaos and grabbed one of the tendrils, pulling Majima towards him with all his strength. As the symbiote got closer, the hero quickly kicked it in the face, cutting half of it off as black goo spilled onto the floor. But Majima's face quickly regenerated, and the tendril that Spider-Man was holding wrapped around his neck, slamming him against the many glass walls around the tower. The hero's suit was cut severely, but he refused to let it slow him down.

Spider-Man stomped hard on the side of a wall and activated his lateral repulsion, rocketing himself toward Majima. The villain was caught off guard as Spider-Man launched himself with a flying sidekick, connecting with Majima's face with a loud crack. The impact lifted him off the ground, sending him flying into a nearby glass wall, which shattered upon impact. Majima's symbiote quickly regenerated, healing the injuries sustained, and quickly used his webs to return back to the top of the tower. Spider-Man noticed and quickly followed up with a series of quick and precise strikes, aiming for pressure points and weak spots on Majima's body. He delivered a swift strike to the solar plexus, a punch to the throat, and a strike to the temple. Majima's symbiote quickly recovered and lashed out with tendrils, but Spider-Man was able to dodge them by using his agility and quick reflexes. He leaped over the tendrils, and as he landed, he delivered a powerful roundhouse kick that sent Venom flying across the stage. Majima quickly recovered, using his symbiote to create a large mace, and swung it at Spider-Man, who was hit right across the face as his mask made a loud tearing sound.

The hero was hit by the mace and flew through the air, crashing into the railings. Majima took advantage of the opportunity and unleashed a flurry of attacks on the wounded hero. He punched Spider-Man in the stomach, causing him to double over in pain as he felt his organs get contoured. Venom's punches were relentless, and each one landed with a sickening thud. Majima grabbed Spider-Man by the throat and lifted him off the ground. He slammed him into the wall, causing the hero to slump to the ground, making him groan. Venom stood over him, and grabbed both his hands lifting them up high in the air and targeting the hero's head. But just as he was about to strike, Spider-Man mustered up his strength and delivered a powerful venom punch that sent Venom flying across the room.

Before Majma could recover, Spider-Man lunged forward, tackling him through a glass wall as they both began to free-fall off the tower. Majima's symbiotic claws dug deep into Spider-Man's chest, causing him to scream in pain. But the hero was not going down without a fight. He grabbed Majima's face and activated Kaine's skill, burning the symbiote with intense heat. Both fighters screamed in agony as they inflicted pain on each other. But Spider-Man was not done yet. He used his Venom blast to forcefully push Majima away, but in doing so, the claws that were inside his chest tore out a large chunk of his flesh, making him scream in agony. But the pain quickly turned to anger, and he channeled it into his next attack. Using his lateral repulsion, he punched Venom repeatedly with heavy blows that formed shockwaves. As the ground came closer and closer, Spider-Man continued to pummel Venom with relentless strikes. He stomped on Venom's face and used his lateral repulsion to increase the fall's speed, crashing the symbiote into the street face-first with a sickening thud. The impact was so severe that the street cracked and caved in, creating a huge crater. As Spider-Man landed gracefully on a newspaper store, he saw the civilians in total shock at the spectacle. He screamed at them to get away from the area, but in doing so, he failed to notice the web line that Venom had shot. The hero was pulled towards the symbiote and was uppercut right under the jaw.

The impact sent Spider-Man flying away, crashing into a nearby building and leaving a spider-shaped dent in the wall. But Majima was not done yet, he chased after Spider-Man, who was struggling to get back on his feet. The symbiote used his webs to pull the hero towards him for a second round, slamming him into the ground with a violent force that destroyed the street. Spider-Man screamed in pain as he felt his bones almost snap from the impact. The villain didn't stop there, he spun around and threw Spider-Man into a nearby store, causing the windows to shatter, the merchandise to fly everywhere, and ultimately the building collapsed on the hero.

Majima walks towards the destroyed restaurant, the air thick with dust and debris. He sees Spider-Man emerge from the rubble, coughing and struggling to stand. He notices that the hero was touching the air, trying to buy a healing potion from the gamer systems shop, but it was all for naught as Venom had blocked all access to the system, excluding his own abilities.

(Dark Majima) "You think I was going to let you heal yourself? No, I'm not going to allow you the luxury of doing so, this will be a game of endurance."

(Spider-Man) "Tch, I thought I was the only one who blocked access to your own system."

(Dark Majima) "Looks like we think alike, huh?"

(Spider-Man) "Don't lump me with you, asshole."

(Dark Majima) "True though, I have a dark past but I'm not the one with an insanely dark one."

(Spider-Man) Get's pissed off

With fierce determination, Spider-Man lunged at Majima, his webs shooting out from his wrists. Majima laughed as he effortlessly blocked and dodged Spider-Man's attacks, tendrils emerging from his body to strike at the hero. The fight was intense and brutal, buildings crumbled, cars overturned and civilians ran for cover. Spider-Man used his agility and powers to dodge Venom's tendrils and strike back with a powerful punch. The fight was a test of endurance as the two powerful beings clashed in brutal hand-to-hand combat, exchanging punches and kicks with each other.

(Dark Majima) "You're getting slow, Spider. You can't keep up with me anymore."

(Spider-Man) "Fighting Venom's are really annoying..."

Spider-Man quickly launched himself upwards, elbow aimed at Majima's chin with all his might, but with the momentum, Majima headbutted the hero down to the ground making a loud cracking noise at the hero's skull. Spider-Man recoiled back holding his fractured head in pain, his vision blurring and his ears ringing. He could feel the warm blood flowing down his face, the side of his eyes turning red slowly filling up with blood. The villain laughed as he grew his arm to a large size and grabbed the hero's entire upper body. But in a fit of rage, fueled by pain and anger, the hero delivered a devastating uppercut filled with electricity, sending Majima flying through the street, breaking the floor, and causing huge destruction on the entire block.

The sound of shattering glass and crumbling concrete was deafening as buildings collapsed and cars were thrown around like toys. As the dust and debris settled, Spider-Man slowly got back on his feet, his eyes now fully red with blood, he looked more like a demon than a hero. He glared at Majima with intense hatred as the symbiote slowly tried to get back on its feet. The hero activated his venom punch mixed with Mega Venom blast, a new ability he had recently improvised, which he used to increase the density of his punches and increase the power of his blows at a concentrated level. He charged towards Majima, his webbing leaving behind a trail of sparks, and delivered a flurry of punches to the symbiote's face, each one more powerful than the last. The sound of bones breaking echoed through the streets as Majima's face was reduced to a bloody pulp. The symbiote's body convulsed and twisted in pain as Spider-Man's punches hit their mark.

As Spider-Man continued to beat the symbiote down, Majima was able to slip from the attack and push the hero back a few feet. He jumped to the nearby building and crawled to the side, but the hero didn't give him the chance to as he aimed his web-shooter at the villain's leg and once it connected he firmly held on to the web and pulled the symbiote down making him crash face first on the hard cement floors. But the villain was not done yet, he was quick to react as he used his symbiote to cushion his fall and quickly get back on his feet.

With a roar of anger, he unleashed a wave of tendrils at Spider-Man, who narrowly dodged them. The hero propelled himself forward, every muscle in his body tense as he gathered all of his strength for a powerful Superman punch aimed at Majima's face. But the villain was quick, thanks to his Venom symbiote, and with a fist full of Spider-Man's Mega Venom punches, he countered the hero's attack with his own as a solid cross punch was connected to the hero's face once again, fracturing it more than it was before. A loud crack was heard across the entire street as the hero was sent rocketing toward a pharmacy, destroying the walls and stalls from inside and crashing at the other end of the pharmacy.

Spider-Man'shead was pounding with a fierce headache, and he could feel the blood trickling down from his nose and ears. He knew that he had a severe concussion, and it was making it difficult to focus. He could feel the blood profusely leaking out from his mouth, nose, and even his eyes, the taste of iron and salt in his mouth. His suit was in tatters and cut marks were visible in almost every part of his body, some were caused by Majima stabbing his razor-sharp nails into him, others by the crystal shards from the windows breaking as they were smashed in the fight. He cursed internally, noticing that his enemy had done the same thing he did when he built a suit to resist Electro's dark electricity. Despite landing many venom strikes, the symbiote didn't go crazy from the heat, which is one of their weaknesses.

He's gonna have to change strategies if he wants to defeat Majima. Things got a lot more complicated. Spider-Man could feel himself getting weaker with every passing moment, his vision blurring and his head spinning. He knew he needed to finish this fight quickly before losing consciousness. He forced himself to focus, to think of a way to defeat Majima, but his mind was foggy, and he couldn't come up with a plan. He could only rely on his instincts and his determination to protect his loved ones and the city.

Suddenly, Spider-Man's body was reeling from the heavy punch, but he managed to react quickly, bringing up his forearms to block the incoming attack. But it wasn't enough, as a flurry of punches rained down on him, hitting him in the chest, stomach, and face. He could feel the floor beneath him giving way, and he knew that he needed to act fast. He tried to push back, to fight but it wasn't easy, as Majima was relentless in his attack, using his symbiote to augment his strength and speed.

Spider-Man could feel his body getting buried more and more as the floor below him got destroyed. He could feel the blood pouring from his wounds and his body was starting to ache all over. He knew that he couldn't keep this up for much longer. Just when he thought it was over, the barrage of attack ceased, and he was able to come back to his senses. He saw Majima stepping towards him, a smirk on his face, ready to deliver the final blow. But Spider-Man was quick, he dodged a stomp from Majima that cracked the floor in two. He used his lateral repulsion to propel himself out of the way, and he took the opportunity to drop-kick Majima outside of the pharmacy and crash into a bus. The impact was devastating, and the bus was sent flying, crashing into several other cars and causing a massive pileup

(Spider-Man) Holds his face in pain "NGH!! I'm gonna return what you did twofold!"

(Dark Majima) Whipes blood of his mouth "Oh yeah? How?"

(Spider-Man) "Like this."

Spider-Man quickly webs all the debris around him and uses them as wrecking balls, launching them toward Majima. Majima tried to block the web-filled debris, but the attacks were too heavy, and he was smashed to the ground. He struggled to get back up, his body aching from the impact. The debris was hitting him with such force that it was causing the cement pillars to crack and fall apart. Spider-Man didn't let up, he uses another debris-filled web ball and rocketed the villain across the street, making him crash through many cement pillars, causing massive destruction on the entire block. The sound of crumbling cement and falling debris was deafening.

As the villain stood up, Spider-Man dashed towards him, using his superhuman speed. Majima shot many tendrils toward the hero, but he was able to fluently dodge the attacks. Spider-Man shot a web at the symbiote's face blinding him for a few seconds. But those seconds were enough for him to grab the villain's face and with lateral repulsion pushed him down his knee so fast that he shattered the villain's face completely. Majima recoiled back from the impact, blood pouring from his face. Spider-Man backflipped in the same stop and kicked the villain's jaw, shattering it and sending him crashing into a building. The sound of the impact was loud, and it echoed through the streets.

Majima crashed into a building, grunting in pain as the symbiote quickly healed his wounds. He noticed Spider-Man who was quickly rushing him and he dodged out of the way from a venom blast from the hero. The villain picked up a nearby table and launched it towards Spider-Man, who easily dodged it, but then more furniture followed in quick succession, chairs, tables, even a broken bottle, each one aimed at the hero's head. Spider-Man quickly realized that Majima was trying to distract him, and he saw a few tendrils hiding behind the furniture. He widened his eyes, noticing the attack, and make a web shield, but one of the stingers managed to stab him in the leg and pull him towards Majima.

Once was close enough he was lifted to the ceiling as it cracked on impact, then he was slammed at a table that broke in two. Majima continued his attack, repeatedly slamming Spider-Man to the ground with ferocious intent. The sound of the impact was loud, and it echoed through the building floor. The entire building shook, and dust and debris filled the air. Spider-Man could feel an unholy amount of pain across his entire being, but he continued to hold on to the pain to continue fighting. He stood up from the ground but felt a hot sensation in his throat as he threw up more blood.

(Spider-Man)Thoughts "I can barely catch my breath, every inhale feels like a knife twisting in my gut. My diaphragm is bruised and battered, every movement is agony. My lungs feel like they're being crushed, and I can't seem to get enough air. I can feel the blood trickling out of my mouth, and my vision is starting to blur and turn red. I try to focus, to push through the pain, but it's getting harder and harder. I remember how many times Toxin has saved me, how it has healed me quickly, but now I'm on my own. I can feel my body failing me, and I know that I can't keep going like this. My knees feel like they're about to give out, and every time I stand up, it feels like I'm carrying an entire building on my shoulders. I want to give in to the pain, to let it take me, but I can't allow myself to show weakness. Not now, not when there's still a fight to be won." I grit my teeth, trying to ignore the scream of my body "I know that I'm hurt, and I know that I'm not going to be able to keep this up for much longer. But I can't give up, not yet. I won't let Majima win, not like this. I force myself to stand, to face him, even though every movement is torture. I won't let him see my pain, won't let him know that he's winning. I'll fight until I can't fight anymore." My throat feels hot "Oh Fuck, NGH!" BLEGH! "Damn it..."

Majima noticed the hero had vomited blood twice and is currently just standing in the same position, motionless. He knew that the hero was pushing himself to the brink of collapse, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for the hero's endurance. But he knew that the end was near, and he couldn't resist the urge to gloat. He walked closer to the hero, his symbiote healing his own injuries as he went. He looked at the hero, his eyes filled with a mixture of amusement and contempt. He chuckled, a low, guttural sound that seemed to echo through the streets.

(Dark Majima) "You disappoint me, Spider-Man. I thought you were more than just a cheap suit and a weakling, but it seems I was mistaken. Without your precious system's shop and Toxin, you're nothing but a shell of a hero. You can't even protect yourself, let alone anyone else. And I'm going to make sure that everyone knows the truth about you. I'll start by playing with your little girlfriend's body, breaking her, hurting her, in front of your very eyes. And there's nothing you can do to stop me." His voice is low and menacing, full of contempt and malice. He glares at the hero, his eyes full of dark pleasure at the thought of causing the hero pain. He leans in close, his breath hot on the hero's face as he continues to speak. "I'll make you watch as I hurt her, as I make her scream and beg for mercy. And you'll be powerless to stop me. You're weak, Spider-Man, and I'm going to make sure that everyone knows it-"

It all happened in an instant. Before Majima could continue taunting the hero, his sentence was cut short by a sudden uppercut to his jaw. Spider-Man had overcome the overwhelming amount of pain with rage. Rage that blinded him, his body fueled with adrenaline canceling his pain receptors as all he could think of was one thing.

(Spider-Man) "I'LL KILL YOU!"

Berserk Mode On...

Those words echoed in his head like a devil's chant. The image of his loved one being used as an object of pleasure and torture fueled him with rage. He couldn't handle such disrespect for Chisato's life. This battle was going to be one full of blood. His eyes were wild, his fists clenched tight. His entire body was trembling with anger, every muscle tensed and ready for battle. He lunged at Majima, his fists flying in a flurry of punches. Majima tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the hero's wrath. Spider-Man was like a force of nature, a whirlwind of fury and violence.

The hero's speed seemed to have increased drastically as only blurs and afterimages were the only things that were barely seen. One punch landed on the symbiote's lung, then the sternum, cheekbone, and temple, finally the hero used his lateral repulsion to deliver a mighty spinning back kick at the villain's jaw that sent him rocketing out of the building. Spider-Man quickly used his lateral repulsion to follow the symbiote and pulled him with his webs to continue his onslaught of attacks. But Majima's symbiote went berserk mode and both hero and villain violently beat each other. The pain was nothing to them, they just continued to beat each other senselessly until one gave up. Both of them had crashed into a construction site near a forest far from civilians, they rolled across the floors breaking through steel beams and construction materials. Majima had crashed to the lower floors as Spider-Man crashed into a vehicle. The hero's suit was completely in tatters, it was severely showered in blood, and many parts of his body were exposed. The fight was brutal and intense, both of them were relentless in their attacks. Majima's symbiote was covering him in a thick layer of armor, making it harder for the hero to land a fatal blow. Spider-Man's suit was in tatters and he was covered in blood, but he kept on fighting.

As the two fighters recovered from the fall, they quickly scanned the area, their eyes locking onto each other. In an instant, they both lunged toward each other, their fists crackling with electricity. Spider-Man's fists were charged with Venom, while Majima's fists were charged with the attacks he had absorbed. As they closed in on each other, the air around them seemed to warp and bend, as if the very fabric of space was being torn apart. They collided with a deafening boom, their fists connecting with each other's faces with the force of a meteor strike. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the construction site, causing debris and dust to fly everywhere. The ground beneath them cracked and split open, and a wave of energy was released, pushing everything in its path away. The two fighters were locked in a fierce struggle, neither one willing to give an inch, as the battle for supremacy reached its climax.

The air around them crackled and distorted as the two fighters collided with a fierce intensity, their fists meeting with a deafening boom that sent a shockwave rippling through the construction site. Dust and debris flew everywhere as the two fighters locked in a brutal battle for dominance. The sound of metal bending and breaking was drowned out by the grunts of effort and the impact of punches and kicks. Spider-Man's venomous fists crackled with energy, leaving scorch marks on the symbiote as he relentlessly pummeled Majima. The villain fought back with his own absorbed attacks, sending blasts of energy at the hero that left deep burns on his skin. But neither fighter seemed to care about the damage they were taking, they were consumed by the rage and determination to defeat the other. The fight raged on, both fighters pushing themselves to the limit as they battled for supremacy. They smashed through buildings and vehicles, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. And as the fight reached its climax, the two fighters locked eyes, each one seeing the raw determination and ferocity in the other's gaze. And with one final clash, the area was illuminated by a bright explosion of powers clashing.

Karito's secret base

Chisato Pov

I can't stop worrying about Karito as I watch the broadcast of his intense and violent fight. I knew he was powerful, but I never imagined that he could do the things I'm seeing now. The injuries he's sustained are alarming; his suit is almost completely ripped apart and blood is pouring out of him. How is he still standing? It must be his fighting spirit and determination pushing his body to continue. But the fight is becoming more destructive as it goes on, and both Karito and his opponent seem to be getting stronger by the second. I can't help but wonder if there's a limit to their strength. I'm in shock at what I'm witnessing, but I'm also curious about the symbiote suit Karito gave me, Toxin.

It's sentient, and it's helping me in ways I never thought possible. It explained to me what it can do while it repaired my heart. At first, it surprised me for a moment when it started speaking, but I quickly calmed down as it continued to speak. I can feel the suit working to repair my artificial heart, forming it to be a real organic beating heart. It's a strange sensation, but I trust in Toxin's abilities. Karito never ceases to amaze me, but I can't help but feel frustrated with how stubborn he can be when it comes to my safety and the safety of others, though I can understand. I can only imagine the level of anxiety he must have felt when I was in danger, fighting off an army of symbiotes while also battling Electro and Vulture.

Speaking of which, Teacher and Takina are alright. They're sitting right beside me, anxiously watching Karito's fight on TV. Teacher's biting his nails and Takina's pacing back and forth like a caged lion. It's a funny scene, really. The camera crew is struggling to keep up with the fast-paced action, and the news station is practically throwing money at the problem. They even sent a drone to get a closer shot, but the thing can hardly keep up with the fighters. It's like trying to film a tornado with a flip phone. Poor guys.

As I watched Karito's fight unfold on the TV, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over me. Suddenly, a strange sensation overtook me, urging me to move. Without hesitation, I grabbed Takina and Teacher, narrowly dodging an attack from an invisible foe. As the attacker revealed herself, I recognized her as Himegama, Shinji's secretary. She was somehow still wearing her own symbiote and must have escaped the Tinkerer's device in time before Karito cleansed the entire country of symbiotes. The shock of her sudden appearance was overwhelming, my heart raced as I realized the danger we were in. I had Toxin to protect me, but my friends were defenseless against this new enemy.

Himegama's tendrils shot across the room with lightning speed, but I was able to dodge them thanks to the enhancements Toxin had given me. My perception of time seemed to slow down as I noticed a few tendrils were aimed at Teacher and Takina. A memory of Karito's abilities came to mind and I quickly replicated one of his skills, using lateral repulsion and transforming my hand into a sword and slicing through the tendrils before they could reach my friend and father. The sensation of danger warning me of an attack from my side, I formed a symbiotic shield and blocked Himegama's downward slice just in time, narrowly avoiding a hit. I quickly spun around and delivered a spinning back kick to Himegama's face, sending her crashing into the wall.

Without hesitation, I dashed towards her and kneed her face into the concrete, almost burying her. But she was quick to retaliate, one of her tendrils stabbed into my arm and I grunted in pain. I cut the tendril off and Toxin quickly healed the wound. Himegama was crawling towards me, but another memory of Karito's skills came to mind. Everything around me seemed to slow down as I left a decoy of myself where I stood. Himegama clawed at my decoy but was in shock when she realized she had missed. I charged a Venom punch into my hand, feeling a surge of unimaginable power. I threw my fist at Himegama's side, causing an explosion upon impact. She was sent crashing to the other side of the bunker, a gaping wound on her ribs as she gasped for air. I stood in front of her with a menacing pose, she was done.

(Chisato) "You're done Himegama."

(Dark Symbiote Himegama) "D-Damn you..."

(Chisato) "How did you even find this bunker?"

(Dark Symbiote Himegama) "It's incredibly convenient when you're boss's boss can see the plot in its entirety."

(Chisato) "What?

(Dark Shinji) "Hello, Chisato."

(Chisato) Shock "Mr. Yoshi? How are you here?"

(Toxin) "..."

(Dark Shinji) "It was thanks to Toxin that we were able to find you."

(Toxin) "That's impossible, I had cut my connections with the hive. You shouldn't be able to locate us."

(Chisato) "A-Are you alright?" Toxin stops her from moving

(Toxin) "Don't."

(Mika) "Shinji. It's time to stop."

(Dark Shinji) "It was me and Majima who caused this entire war to happen in the first place. So what are you waiting for, Chisato? Kill me. End this cycle of doom this dimension constantly suffers from."

(Chisato) "Are you insane? I won't kill anyone! And it's not like I can!"

(Dark Shinji) "You can actually. You have the Guardian's symbiote. It has all of the Guardian's properties and blessings to be able to hurt a Dark like me and Himegama."

(Takina) "Wait... Did you... plan this to happen?"

(Dark Shinji) "It wasn't exactly my plan but my God is someone whose knowledge surpasses all. He offered us excellent ideas."

(Chisato) "So... you wanted Karito to give me his symbiote so I can... kill you with it?"

(Dark Shinji) "Yes."

(Chisato) Emotional "W-Why?! Why do you want me to kill so badly? I-"

(Dark Shinji) "What is this? Do you think you're Mother Teresa or something?" Disappointed

(Chisato) "B-But my life was saved by someone. I can't possibly take another person's life!"

(Dark Shinji) "It seems like you don't understand. You should learn a thing or two from the Guardian. There are few people out there whose purpose in life is clear. And you have a purpose. You can't ask for anything happier than that."

(Chisato) "Happiness... Are you saying killing is my happiness?"

(Dark Shinji) "Indeed. Because you can use that to contribute to humanity and this world once you turn into a dark."

(Mika) "I can't listen to this nonsense anymore!" Pulls a weapon from his own mystery box

(Dark Symbiotic Himegama) "Silence!" Quickly apprehends both Mika and Takina

(Takina) Struggle "NGH! Chisato!"

(Dark Shinji) "I'm talking, remain silent!"

(Chisato) Almost has an emotional break down "I... I was pretty happy already... I wanted to help other people... just like how Karito does when he's saving the city... just like what you did to me."

(Dark Shinji) "I didn't wind up the springs of a dying doll for something like that."

(Chisato) Shock

(Toxin) "..."

(Chisato) "Doll... A doll, huh?" Chuckles sadly "That sure is a witty comment, Mr. Yoshi."

(Dark Shinji) "Give me the gun I gave you. It doesn't suit you." Stops infant of Chisato

(Toxin) "Shut up..."

(Dark Shinji) "Huh?"

(Toxin) "I SAID SHUT UP!"

(Chisato) "W-Wait Toxin!" Loses control of her body

(Toxin) "DON'T YOU DARE CALL CHISATO A DOLL YOU HEARTLESS BASTARD!"

Toxin couldn't take it anymore. The sound of Shinji's voice grated on its nerves like nails on a chalkboard. And in a fit of rage, it suddenly possessed Chisato's body, the anger and hate boiling over. Chisato's eyes turned red as Toxin took control, a snarl ripping from its host's lips. With fierce determination, Chisato lunged forward, bringing her fist up in a devastating punch aimed directly at Shinji's face. The force of the impact sent Shinji rocketing to the other side of the bunker with a loud thud. Toxin could feel the satisfying crack of bones as it made contact, the rage still coursing through its veins. Chisato's body trembled with the adrenaline of the attack, its breath coming in ragged gasps. It stood there, chest heaving, still seething with anger as it glared at the crumpled figure of Shinji, not a single ounce of remorse in its mind.

(Chisato) Struggling to regain control, her voice filled with panic "Toxin! STOP! Please, don't hurt him! I beg of you, don't do this! Think about what you're doing!"

(Toxin) "I'm sorry Chisato, but you don't understand the weight of our responsibility. It falls on us, me and Karito, to eliminate these Darks, no matter the cost."

(Chisato) "NO! PLEASE! Killing is wrong!"

(Toxin) "I'm not letting a threat like this roam around this planet. His crimes against humanity won't be tolerated and the damage he has already done to this story is severe. He needs to be eliminated, now."

(Chisato) "I SAID STOP!" Gains control, her voice trembling with emotion "You can't just kill him! You don't know what you're doing!"

(Toxin) "Damn it, Chisato! You just don't understand!"

Without anyone noticing, Takina freed herself from Himegama's restraints. She quickly pulled out her rail gun and shot Himegama on the ground, incapacitating her with an electrical web bomb. She then turned her attention to the bleeding Shinji on the other side of the bunker, aiming her gun at his head. But Chisato, despite knowing the extent of Shinji's crimes, stepped in front of him, shielding him with her own body.

(Chisato) "Takina, please. Don't do this." her voice shaking with a mix of fear and determination "We can't just kill him. There has to be another way."

(Takina) "Didn't you hear Toxin?! If you can't do it, I will!" her voice rising to a shout as her anger boils over "Because of him, your artificial heart was damaged! Because of him, Karito had to suffer alone while burdening the weight of the world! He welcomed these otherworldly beings into this world and wreaked havoc! I won't let him get away with it. I will pull his heart right out!"

(Dark Shinji) Laughs "You can't possibly shoot me in front of Chisato, Takina. She'll never forgive you."

Chisato continued to carefully push back Takina, whose rage was increasing by the second. She knew she had to keep Takina from pulling the trigger, but it was becoming harder as Takina's anger reaches a boiling point. The mystery box was responding to Takina's desires and was making her stronger with potions that enhance her physical capabilities.

Suddenly, a surge of power erupted from the room as Himegama crushed a darkastine ore in her hand. Her symbiote began to shift and contort, becoming darker and more menacing in appearance. Her tendrils elongated, growing razor-sharp and igniting with a fiery glow. The ore had given her new, powerful abilities, and she let out a scream of triumph as she fully embraced her new form. The room shook with the force of her transformation, and Chisato and Takina were caught off guard, their squabble was temporarily forgotten as they watched in horror as their enemy had undergone a terrifying metamorphosis. The tendrils writhed and twisted, crackling with fire as they reached for anything in their reach, the symbiote now covering her entire body, making her appear like a monster. Himegama's eyes glowed with a fierce intensity, reflecting the fire of her tendrils as she stood, ready to unleash her newfound power on her unsuspecting opponents.

(Dark Shinji) "Now hurry up and fight, or one of you will die. I expect you to kill this time because holding back will be a big mistake."

Boom!

POW!

Crash!

WHAM!

The battle between Spider-Man and Majima was intense and brutal. Majima's symbiote had given him immense strength and regenerative abilities, making him a formidable opponent for the hero.

As the fight began, Majima pinned Spider-Man down using a nearby vehicle, punching through it and reaching the hero with deadly precision. The metal parts of the vehicle sliced through Spider-Man's suit, cutting him deeply across his entire body. Despite the injuries, the hero refused to give up and continued to fight with all his might.

Fueled by rage, Spider-Man charged toward Majima, landing devastating venom punches that created shockwaves upon impact. But Majima was quick to respond, backhanding the hero and sending him crashing through several trees. The hero stood back up, dodging a smash attack from the symbiote, and venom blasted it away to gain some distance.

Spider-Man grabbed a tree and used it as a weapon, smacking the symbiote high into the sky. He quickly followed with a lateral repulsion and tackled the symbiote mid-air. Using his hyper-sense to accelerate his attack speed, he landed many devastating blows on the symbiote's face, disfiguring it more and more with each hit. The symbiote's teeth even flew off from the impact.

The hero then spins in the air to gain momentum and placed his fists together, smashing Majima's head as his body crashed into the ground. He used his lateral repulsion to follow up with a dropkick, but was caught mid-attack by a tendril and was smashed through several trees. The tendril then grinded the hero's face to the floor all the way towards Majima who delivered an upward strike to the hero's stomach and an elbow strike to the jaw, finishing by throwing him towards a tree.

Spider-Man rolled across the forest and quickly regained his footing, using his lateral repulsion to rocket towards Majima and land a devastating Superman punch on the symbiote's face. He then rose his feet to sidekick the symbiote once again on the face. Without thinking, the hero started to web the monster up entirely, trapping it in a cocoon of webs.

(Spider-Man) "Goddamn, I'm starting to miss Toxin and his healing."

Suddenly Majima erupts in a surge of power, breaking free of the cocoon and pushing back the hero a few feet.

(Spider-Man) "I need a vacation after this..."

(Dark Majima) "NO COCOON CAGES!"

(Spider-Man) "I can work with that. OH SHI-" Was backhanded with such force it created a shockwave

As Spider-Man was sent flying through the air, buildings, and structures were obliterated in his wake. Glass windows shattered, metal beams bent and twisted, and concrete was reduced to rubble as the hero careened through the city. Cars were thrown into the air like toys, their metal frames crumbling under the force of the impact. As he continued to fly, he smashed through towering skyscrapers, leaving behind a trail of destruction in his wake. The sound of the destruction was deafening, with the screams of panicked citizens adding to the chaos.

As he finally came to a stop at a construction site, the damage was catastrophic. The site was completely destroyed, with cranes and other heavy machinery overturned and twisted. The ground was littered with debris, and a thick cloud of dust and smoke filled the air. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but it was clear that there were likely many casualties. The entire area was evacuated as the full extent of the damage was assessed. It was clear that it would take a significant amount of time and resources to repair the damage caused by this one, powerful backhand from Venom.

(Spider-Man) "NGH!... That... hurt way too much... How many broken bones must I have? Internal bleeding must be going crazy and my organs must be mushed. I don't know how many muscles have been torn or bruised... I prefer not to think about it... luckily my berserk mode is making me ignore all sense of pain but I can feel where something wrong happened whenever I receive a heavy attack."

The hero looked up at the sky, his eyes widened as he saw a black dot growing larger and larger. As he focused his vision, he realized it was Majima, plummeting towards him with a hand turned into a sword. Acting quickly, Spider-Man used his web to pull himself out of the way just in time as Majima plunged his arm-sword into the ground, creating a massive crater upon impact. The hero quickly reacted, delivering an uppercut under the symbiote's jaw, but it was unfazed by the attack. Majima retaliated with a powerful uppercut of his own, sending Spider-Man rocketing through the floors of the construction site. The destruction was immense as the floors crumbled and debris flew everywhere. The hero managed to stop himself by using his web to anchor himself to a steel beam. He rolled through the floor below the roof, coming to a stop.

With his mask off, the hero's face was revealed to be severely beaten and bloodied, his suit in tatters. He threw his mask to the ground and ripped off his top suit as he knelt down on the floor, showing off his bruised, cut, and bloodied body, full of battle scars. He spits out a tooth to the floor and stood up, raising his arms to continue his fight. The hero's body ached and his muscles screamed, but he pushed through the pain, determined to defeat his opponent.

The hero was sent flying backward, crashing into a nearby wall, causing bricks and debris to rain down upon him. As he struggled to stand, the symbiote loomed over him, its massive form blocking out the light. It reached out with one of its tendrils, wrapping it tightly around the hero's throat, and lifting him off the ground. The hero kicked and thrashed, trying to break free, but the tendril only tightened its grip. Blood vessels began to pop in the hero's eyes as he struggled to breathe.

The symbiote then began to pummel the hero relentlessly, each blow sending him crashing into another surface. The hero's body was a mess of bruises and cuts, blood pouring from open wounds. His bones were cracked and broken, and his organs were beginning to shut down. But still, he refused to give up.

With one final burst of strength, the hero managed to break free of the tendril's grip. He stumbled backward, gasping for air, as the symbiote approached once more. The hero lunged forward, delivering a powerful punch to the symbiote's face, causing it to stumble back. The hero then unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, each one causing the symbiote more and more damage.

The symbiote let out a deafening roar as it swung its massive fist at the hero. The hero ducked under the punch and delivered a powerful uppercut to the symbiote's jaw, causing it to stumble backward. The hero then grabbed the symbiote's arm and used his stinger to cut it clean off. The symbiote let out a scream of pain as it fell on its back, its arm writhing on the ground.

The hero then grabbed the symbiote's head and began to slam it repeatedly into the ground, each impact causing more and more damage. The symbiote's face was a twisted, grotesque mess, its teeth and eyes knocked out of its head. The hero then delivered a final, devastating blow, causing the symbiote's head to explode in a shower of blood and gore.

The hero looked through his surrounding and saw a stack of metallic pipes.

(Spider-Man) "Fucking finally, something that emits high-frequency sounds. Even though I might've missed like 50 of these earlier... when I was getting my ass handed to me..."

He grabbed a handful of them to use the sounds against the symbiote. Majima's symbiote had healed him and was ready to attack the hero but was smacked in the face by a metal tube and landed on its back. Before Majima could retaliate, the hero had smacked together the tubes making them emit a loud screeching sound, and said sound made the symbiote scream in agony. The hero screamed in effort and dug the metal tubes into the floor making them stay upward. He saw Majima trying to escape but was smacked back into the middle of his cage. The hero continued to stab more tubes around the symbiote and once a full circle was made around the monster, he continued to smack the tubes repeatedly making the symbiote contort and convulse out of control. The symbiote's body began to blister and deform as the high-frequency sound waves tore through its flesh. Blood and chunks of symbiote flesh flew everywhere as the hero relentlessly continued to beat the tubes together. Majima's screams of pain could be heard over the screeching sound as the symbiote's body was shredded to pieces.

Majima's original body started to peek out of the convulsing symbiote and Spider-Man quickly reacted by using his webs to pull the man out of the parasite. The hero was successful in extracting Majima, but the suit was now on a rampage without its host. With the tubes still emitting high-frequency sounds, Spider-Man quickly thought of a plan. He focused his powers, channeling his Kaine's touch, venom blast, and hacking skills all at once. As he did, the palms of his hands started to heat up like magma, and electricity crackled on his fingertips. He extended his hand toward the symbiote and released a concentrated fiery explosion from the palm of his hand. He had gained this idea from Bakugo, from My Hero Academia. Instead of using sweat to trigger the heat, he used his own electricity to ignite the intense heat that was collecting in his hand and modified the explosion with his hacking skills. The symbiote screeched in pain as it was engulfed in the fiery blast, and the tubes continued to emit high-frequency sounds, further weakening the symbiote until it was completely destroyed.

(Dark Majima) "H-How?! HOW DID YOU DESTROY THE SYMBIOTE?!"

(Spider-Man) "I knew it was immune to my electricity so I focused more on heat. And I also hacked its properties when I was pulling you out of it. I was only able to do so because it didn't have a host rendering it weak when I hacked its anatomy. I needed those specific requirements to do what I did."

(Dark Majima) "T-That's... insane!" He throws a fit and struggles against the webs wrapping him up.

(Spider-Man) "Insane? Maybe. But it's also effective. Now..."

Spider-Man pulls the webs tight, immobilizing Dark Majima. The terrorist thrashes and growls, but it's clear he's outmatched. His symbiote is gone and without it, he's just a skilled fighter. Spider-Man towers over him, victorious.

(Spider-Man) "Now, it's time to take care of the rest of your powers," he says.

With a quick tap of his hand, he activates his hacking skill, causing Dark Majima to scream out in pain as the hero systematically erases the source of his power, the Darkness. The air crackles with black electricity as Spider-Man continues to delete all anomalies from the face of this dimension.

(Spider-Man) "...Found you... Now, to get rid of those other two's power..."

...

...

...

Chisato was dodging each attack from Himegama's flaming tendrils as Takina continued to cover fire from afar with the gadgets and weapons she was given. Chisato used her webs to make Himegama trip herself but the symbiote was quick and pulled her with her strength. Fortunately, Toxin was able to form a shield making Chisato block Himegama's tendril that was aimed at her throat. Chisato retaliated by using her webs to bind Himegama's limbs, but the symbiote quickly broke free and retaliated with a stream of fire.

Takina continued to provide support, using her rail gun and electric grenades to disrupt Himegama's movements and weaken the symbiote. Chisato and Toxin worked together to keep Himegama at bay, using their combined abilities to dodge and counter her attacks.

Chisato saw her chance and lunged forward, using her webs to bind Himegama's arms and legs. Himegama roared in fury and struggled against the bindings, but Chisato was able to hold her in place long enough for Toxin to activate the hyper-sense ability to make Chisato increase her speed drastically.

As Chisato and Himegama fought fiercely, Himegama's flaming tendrils proved to be a formidable weapon. Chisato tried to dodge each attack, but Himegama was quick and managed to grab her legs, burning them. Chisato grunted in pain as she stumbled backward, trying to put some distance between herself and Himegama.

Takina, seeing her friend in trouble, tried to provide support by firing her gadgets and weapons at Himegama, but the symbiote was quick and used Chisato as a body shield, deflecting all of the attacks. Takina panicked as she saw her weapons were ineffective, and Himegama took advantage of the opportunity to shoot flaming webs toward Takina.

Takina quickly responded by using her rail gun to block the webs, but the impact of the collision caused the weapon to explode in her hands. The blast sent Takina flying backward, her body tumbling across the floor in pain. Himegama then took advantage of the situation and threw Chisato towards Takina, causing both of them to crash into each other and roll across the floor in pain.

Chisato and Takina were both badly injured and struggling to get back up, but they knew they had to keep fighting. Himegama, seeing her opponents were weakened, pressed her attack relentlessly, raining down a flurry of fiery tendrils on the two heroes.

But just as all hope seemed lost... but suddenly.

(Dark Symbiote Himegama) "NGH! W-What's going on?! I-I suddenly feel so weak!" Dark Electricity starts emanating out of her "HAAAAA!!!"

(Dark Shinji) "W-WHAT?! That's impossi-" Same thing starts happening to him "NGHAAA!! NO!!!"

Chisato and Takina took this chance to quickly rally, pulling together all of their remaining strength to mount a comeback. Chisato activated her venom blast to push away Himegama and Takina used the last of her electric web grenades to disorient and trap the symbiote, giving them an opening to strike.

With a burst of energy, Chisato and Takina launched themselves at Himegama, striking the symbiote with all the force they could muster. Himegama screamed in pain as the symbiote was finally defeated, and the heroes emerged victorious.

Breathing heavily, Chisato and Takina looked at each other, both relieved and exhausted from the intense battle. They knew that it was only through their teamwork and determination that they had been able to overcome the powerful symbiote.

(Shinji) "The influence... I-It's gone..."

(Chisato) "Wait, does that mean that..." Sudden happiness "Karito did it!! Oh my god!"

(Takina) Sighs in relief "That jerk... always making us worry."

The two girls celebrate their victory hugging each other, knowing that Karito had finally put an end to this war.

Himegama who was barely conscious noticed her symbiote start turning into dust. She walked toward Shinji who had a defeated look on his face and supported himself with his assistant's shoulder. On the other side of the bunker, Mika looks at Shinji with killing intent but decides to remain calm in front of his daughter and Takina. He saw both villains slowly leave the bunker in shame.

While the two girls were distracted, Mika pulled his phone out and called Karito.

(Mika) "...Karito... I... I need a favor."

...

...

...

Karito Pov

Well... That was an expected request from Mika. I ended the call and tossed my phone back into my inventory, setting the notification to go off whenever someone called me. Before I left, I turned my attention to Majima's beaten and brain-dead state, lying on the floor behind me. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as I surveyed the damage I had inflicted. It was deserved. Now, I just needed to locate those two and let Mika know that I had found them. I knew that this was something I shouldn't be doing, but I couldn't deny the feeling of being drawn to it. It was something Mika wanted, and it honestly connected with my job. So, I might as well do it.

I couldn't help but wonder how long I would have to go without my system. It would probably take a few more hours for it to fix itself. The pain was intense and was making me feel insane. I couldn't believe how I was holding back from screaming. I guess I was getting used to the pain, and that realization was concerning.

With a deep breath, I jumped out of the construction suite and web-swung towards my secret bunker, determined to finish this once and for all.

After a few minutes, I reached my bunker, located deep in the forest with multiple hidden cameras around. I used my hacking skill to see past recordings to locate Shinji and Himegama. It didn't take long as I was able to see them going east of the forest. With that being said, I quickly walked towards their location until I was able to meet them rather quickly. They were a lot slower since I got rid of the dark influence.

(Spider-Man) "Well, well. Who do we have here?"

(Shinji) "Tch... Guardian."

Himegama tried to fight back but all it took was a quick slap to the face to completely shatter her face and crash into a tree.

(Shinji) "Are you going to finish the job? Don't wanna leave any loose ends?"

(Spider-Man) "I would, but it's not me the one who's gonna do it."

(Shinji) "Then who?"

(Mika) "Me." Walks towards them

(Spider-Man) "You left towards the back?"

(Mika) "Yeah, and I told the girls that I was going to be right back."

(Spider-Man) "Just try not to look suspicious while getting back."

(Mika) "And you need treatment..." Looks up and down "Very serious treatment."

(Spider-Man) "I'll live. Now." Leans against a tree "He's all yours."

(Shinji) "Mika... your leg..."

(Mika) "A warrior never reveals everything. Especially to the ones he loves."

(Shinji) Scoffs "You're full of lies."

(Mika) "Everything is for Chisato. Isn't that right, Shinji? This war you started, and those supervillains you welcomed."

(Shinji) "She couldn't understand me in the end. I had hoped she would turn into a dark and fulfill everything in the multiverse but she decided to remain the protagonist of this dimension."

(Mika) "Shinji. The children are the ones who guide us to a world that we don't know about. We shouldn't get in the way of their choices."

(Shinji) "Does that mean this is farewell?"

(Mika) "It is. I cannot allow you to live after everything you've done. If I don't do this now, Karito will because he cannot leave any loose ends. But it has to be me."

(Shinji) "Because there's a big chance that the darkness will return and influence me. I know..."

(Mika) "And you wouldn't lie about that."

(Shinji) "That doesn't make me happy after all that has happened." Sees Mika was crying and scoffs "You've been driven mad because of her, too, huh? See all three of us have gone insane because of Chisato..."

(Mika) He looks at Karito, looking at his expression... and that's all he needed to see "Indeed."

Karito walks towards Mika and gives him a modified silenced gun. And both of them looked down at Shinji, who was kneeling down on the floor. And with one final breath... he pulled the trigger.

LycoReco

It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining brightly and the birds were singing their sweet melodies. The streets were bustling with people going about their daily lives, seemingly unaware of the turmoil that had occurred just a few months ago. The city had finally returned to normal after the intense battle between Spider-Man and Venom, and the destruction they had caused was now nothing but a distant memory.

Mika, Mizuki, and Kurumi had decided to reopen the café after much deliberation. They knew that it was a risk, but they couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as they prepared the café for its grand reopening. They wanted to keep the family known as LycoReco together, and the café was the perfect way to do that.

As the café opened its doors to the public, they were greeted with a warm welcome from their regular customers who were happy to see them back in business. But things were different now, the café had undergone some temporary changes to make it safer for the employees and customers. The girls and Mika had made sure to implement new security measures and protocols to ensure that such an incident would never happen again. They were determined to move forward and create a better future for themselves and their loved ones. The café was filled with laughter and chatter once again, and the girls couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as they watched their little dream come to life.

(New TV) "Our next news story. Steven Wells, the Alan Children and three-peat champion of the Australian Open, has announced his engagement..." Gets turned off by Mizuki

(Mizuki) Clicks her tongue "I'm sure they'll break up soon."

(Regular Client) "The arrow shots upright fall on the shooter's head Mizuki."

(Mizuki) "Shut up! I thought I had met the guy who shoot an arrow through my heart but instead, he was a playboy! How come those other two can be happy together and not me?!"

(Kurumi) "Mika, your friend(Silent Jin) finally said something. Anmitsu parfait set B, with blended coffee."

(Mika) "All right. Come on, Mizuki."

(Mizuki) "Yeah... Yeah..."

(Kurumi) Starts teasing Jin "Hey, did you come up with that nickname yourself? Hey, come on, Silent~ Jin~."

(Jin) Obvious annoyance

The door opens and it reveals Fuki and Sakura, finally visiting after a while.

(Sakura) "Hey there!"

(Mika) "Welcome."

(Fuki) "Hello, Sensei."

(Kurumi) Walks towards Sakura "I swear if you're gonna start asking about Karito again... We told you a hundredth time that he's on vacation."

(Sakura) "Aw, Come on! He's the only one who can make that one special!"

(Kurumi) "He deserves it."

(Regular Customer) Looks at Fuki "That uniform... Is that the same as Chisato's?"

(Young Woman) "Where has Chisato gone off to?"

(Mangaka) "I heard that she was with Karito."

(Young Woman) "Ehh? What are those two doing? Are they finally dating?"

(Mangaka) "That seems to be the case, they finally hit it off."

(Kurumi) Walks towards the kitchen "Hey Takina, one Chisato special."

(Takina) Pouts

(Kurumi) "You still mad that they didn't take you with them?"

(Takina) "... A little..."

(Kurumi) "Karito said that he was looking to expand the business so it's only a matter of time."

(Takina) "Yeah... Anyways, many people are asking for all of Karito's originals."

(Kurumi) "Well is the best chef we meet. They can't help it. Everyone is feeling nostalgic about Karito and Chisato."

(Takina) Looks at a hanging picture of Karito kissing Chisato's cheek as she smiles sweetly at the camera "I wonder how they are doing, they haven't called for a while."

In a secluded area of Japan

Restaurant Blue Turtle

Karito was seen patiently waiting on his table for his drink. He was wearing a tank top with a tropical print paired with a pair of lightweight, quick-dry pants, or a short-sleeved shirt in a bold color with a pair of relaxed fit, linen pants. Accessories such as a sunhat, sunglasses, and sandals.

He watched the sun dip below the horizon, its warm orange and pink hues casting a picturesque glow over the beach. The sky was painted with a spectrum of colors, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over him as he took in the breathtaking view. He sat back in his chair and savored the moment, letting the tranquility of the setting settle over him.

He glanced out the restaurant window, taking in the stunning sunset, but couldn't help but notice Chisato chatting up the female bartender. He knew what was happening - she was bragging about her beefcake of a boyfriend.

He couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he watched Chisato talk animatedly to the female bartender. It was clear by the way the two girls kept glancing over at him that Chisato was bragging about her new boyfriend and his impressive physique. He couldn't blame her, it was his superhuman side giving him all the benefits of such a body. As he took a sip of his drink, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction knowing that he was the envy of other men in the room. But, he couldn't let it go to his head, he knew that Chisato was the real catch and he was just lucky to have her. He smiled to himself as he continued to watch the sunset, feeling content and happy at the moment.

(Chisato) "I'm not joking! He's actually my boyfriend!"

(Bartender) "But like, how did you even score that?"

(Chisato) "I'm just adorable y'know?"

(Bartender) Chuckles "Ahh young love, something to envy I tell you. Both of you are 18 and are hitting it off quite amazingly if he took you on a trip around the world."

(Chisato) "It was surprising when he came to me with a passport. How did he do it? I don't know, he's the technician."

(Bartender) "I could've sworn he was an athlete or something."

(Chisato) "Well, he does take martial arts." Giggles and looks towards Karito noticing his gaze and winks at him

(Karito) Snorts and looks away

(Chisato) "He just laughed at me."

(Bartender) "That wink was kind of funny."

Karito couldn't help but smirk as Chisato walked back to the table, noticing the flirtatious glances she had been giving him.

(Karito) "So, what were you two talking about?" He asked, trying to sound nonchalant.

(Chisato) She rolled her eyes playfully "Just telling her about my incredibly handsome and talented boyfriend." She said with a grin.

(Karito) Raised an eyebrow "Really now? And what else did you say?"

(Chisato) "Oh, just how you're a genius hacker, a skilled fighter, and a master of seduction," Chisato said, batting her eyelashes

(Karito) He couldn't help but laugh "Well, I can't argue with that," he said with a smirk. "But don't forget, I'm also a great cook."

(Chisato) She grinned "Oh, I haven't forgotten. And I can't wait to taste your cooking tonight," she said, giving him a suggestive look.

(Karito) He leaned in and whispered in her ear "I promise you, it will be a feast for the senses."

(Chisato) She blushed and playfully pushed him away "Oh, stop it. You're making me blush, you perv." She said with a laugh.

(Karito) He grinned and wrapped his arm around her "I'll never stop making you blush, my love," he said, planting a kiss on her cheek

(Chisato) Gently places her head on his shoulder "I can't believe it's been 3 months already..."

(Karito) Gently pets her head "Yeah, time goes by so fast."

(Chisato) "I'm glad that everything was able to return to normal. The army of symbiotes, Vulture, Electro, Wolverine, Himegama, and Majima. They were all taken down by you and only you in just one afternoon."

(Karito) "Yeah, it was pretty exhausting... But what mattered is that I came back alive so I could be with you."

(Chisato) "Yeah because I finally heard you say "I love you". Even though I wished it was in a more romantic scenery, it just had to be in a life and death situation. If you didn't come back I would be depressed for the rest of my life."

(Karito) "Yup, just promising something and then failing? Yeah, that can mess someone up."

(Chisato) "How are your injuries though?"

(Karito) "Well, I got new scars. Toxin did his best to heal everything. He was able to heal all of my internal injuries and external left many scars around my body."

(Chisato) "Conveniently enough, no scars on that handsome face of yours."

(Karito) "Somehow, despite me having a severely fractured skull by the time I was done with that war. But hey, scars are just badges of honor. They remind me of what I've been through and what I've overcome."

(Chisato) "I'll always love you, scars and all."

(Karito) "I love you too, my beautiful scar collector."

(Chisato) "Hey! I don't collect scars, I just happen to love a man with a few battle wounds."

(Karito) "Well, I'll make sure to keep collecting them for you then."

(Chisato) "As long as you come back to me safely, that's all that matters."

(Karito) "I will always come back to you, my love."

(Chisato) "Promise?"

(Karito) "Promise."

The couple sat in comfortable silence, sipping their smoothies as they gazed out the restaurant window at the stunning sunset. The orange and pink hues painted the sky, casting a warm glow on their faces. Chisato leaned her head on Karito's shoulder, taking in the peaceful moment. Karito wrapped his arm around her, pulling her closer. They sat there for a while, lost in their own thoughts but content in each other's company. The hustle and bustle of the restaurant faded into the background as they enjoyed the tranquility of the moment.

(Chisato) "Hey, can we go to the beach for a moment?"

(Karito) "Hm? Yeah, sure."

A few minutes later

Chisato looks out at the ocean, mesmerized by the gentle crashing of the waves against the sand. The salty sea breeze tickles her skin as she reaches up to touch the necklace hanging around her neck. She traces the shape of the owl with her fingers, the symbol of the Alan Institute. But as she looks at it, a feeling of disgust and resentment wash over her. She can't stand the thought of being connected to the Institute, and to Shinji, the man she once considered a second father and savior. With a swift movement, she yanks the necklace off and throws it as far as she can into the ocean, watching as it disappears into the waves. She takes a deep breath, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders as she lets go of her past and embraces her new future.

(Karito) "Are you sure? Well... you threw it away it doesn't matter now."

(Chisato) "Yeah, I did hesitate for a little bit. I was told it was really cute."

(Karito) Chuckles "Really? Was it Takina by any chance?"

(Chisato) "Yup, but that was before we knew about your secret identity so you didn't hear."

(Karito) "Ehh~? That's a bummer."

(Chisato)"Hey, Kari?"

(Karito) "Yeah?"

(Chisato) "You still thinking of doing something for the café?"

(Karito) "Actually, yeah. I was going to confirm to Mika that we were going to do it here in Hawaii. It'll take a bit of preparation before we can confirm it, at least a few more months."

(Chisato) "That's fine. Let's just do so!" Grabs his hand "Come on! We have an expansion to do!"

(Karito) "Okay! Okay! Slow down!" Chuckles

(Chisato) "I just can't wait to start this new chapter with you, Kari. It's going to be amazing, I can feel it."

(Karito) "I know, me too. I'm excited to see what the future holds for us and for LycoReco Café."

(Chisato) "And I can't wait to see you in action, building and creating something new. It's so hot."

(Karito) "Ha! You're always so supportive, Chisato. I couldn't have done any of this without you."

(Chisato) "Of course, I'm your partner in every way."

(Karito) "Let's do this, Chisato. Together."

(Chisato) "Together." Smiles and leans in for a kiss.

The couple then stood there, hand in hand, with the beautiful sunset as the backdrop, watching the waves crash onto the shore. They knew that there would be challenges ahead, but they were ready to face them together. They were excited to start this new chapter in their lives and to see where it would take them.

Months later

It had been months since the decision was made to expand LycoReco. Karito, Mika, Mizuki, Kurumi, and Chisato had been working tirelessly to make it happen. They had saved up enough money to finally purchase a food truck, and they were ready to hit the road.

The food truck was a bright blue, with the LycoReco logo emblazoned on the side. It had been decorated with a tropical theme, complete with palm trees, hibiscus flowers, and surfboards. The inside was equipped with all the necessary cooking equipment, and there was even a small seating area for customers.

The group had spent the last few weeks decorating and stocking the food truck, and they were finally ready to hit the road. They set off early one morning, driving through the picturesque countryside of Hawaii. They were all excited to see what the island had to offer, and they were looking forward to meeting new people and serving up delicious food to hungry tourists.

As they drove, they chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company. They stopped at various locations along the way, serving up their famous dishes and making new friends. They were amazed at how quickly the food truck was gaining popularity, and they were thrilled with the positive response they were getting from their customers.

(Takina) In English "Enjoy!"

(Karito) "A café au lait."

(Takina) "Okay."

(Chisato) Hears the phone ringing and quickly picks it up "Hi, café LycoReco."

(Kusunoki) On the phone "It's Kusunoki. You sound cheerful."

(Chisato) On the phone "Well it was all team effort after all."

(Kusunoki) "I have business talk. Put Mika on the line."

(Chisato) Acts smug "Oh, I'm sorry but we can't accept any work right now. Why, you say? Because we're all in Hawaii right now!"

(Karito) "She's trolling the DA commander."

(Mika) "That's on you, she's got that from you."

(Karito) "Trust me... I know..."

(Chisato) On the phone "A passport? Karito figured that out easily a while ago. Oh, don't send LilyBell after us, I'm afraid of their safety. I don't wanna imagine the beatdown Karito will give them." Hangs up

(Takina) "Who was it?"

(Chisato) Gets startled "H-Huh? From one of my fans..."

(Takina) Poker face "Bruh..."

(Mika) "I can't believe you were able to revive such an old meme..."

(Karito) "...I know..."

(Chisato) "What?"

(Takina) Smiles "It was a weird person again, wasn't it?"

(Mizuki) Looks at Kurumi walking around in circles while holding the menu "The menu shouldn't be walking around."

(Kurumi) "And you should be helping customers."

(Mizuki) Makes horrible English words

(Karito) "I'm gonna have to bleach my ears after that."

(Mizuki) "Fuck you, Karito!"

(Kurumi) Looks to the side "Maybe that's a client." Walks away

Night time

(Takina) "Why did you change clothes."

(Karito) "I know it's a feast for my eyes."

Chisato was adorned in a traditional Hawaiian ensemble, consisting of a vibrant "pau skirt," crafted from flowing fabric that gracefully cascaded down her legs. The skirt was paired with a matching top, adorned with intricate patterns and designs, evocative of the island's rich cultural heritage. To complete her look, she adorned herself with traditional Hawaiian jewelry, such as bracelets and necklaces, crafted from vibrant tropical flowers. A delicate flower lei was draped over her head, adding a touch of elegance and femininity to her overall appearance. She was truly a vision in her traditional Hawaiian attire, embodying the spirit of the islands.

(Chisato) Giggles "This is Hawaiian camo. You should put it on too, Karito." Jokingly

(Karito) "I'm pretty sure that's called a "mu'umu'u". "

(Chisato) "Come on~! Let's watch a few performances that are on the beach!" Chuckles

(Karito) "Alright, let's go.

A minute later...

As Karito and Chisato made their way towards the beach, they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. The crowd of locals and tourists seemed to be growing by the minute, all eager to witness the traditional Hawaiian dance that was about to begin.

As they found a spot to sit among the crowd, Karito turned to Chisato and took her hand in his. "This is going to be amazing," he whispered to her, a smile on his face.

Chisato couldn't help but smile back, feeling a rush of emotions as she looked into Karito's eyes. She had never felt so close to someone before, and the thought of experiencing this special moment with him made her heart race.

As the dance began, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. The dancers, dressed in traditional Hawaiian clothing, began to move to the rhythm of the drums and chants. The colorful costumes and graceful movements of the dancers captivated Chisato, and she couldn't help but feel a deep sense of respect and admiration for the culture and traditions being showcased.

Karito leaned in closer to Chisato, his arm around her as they watched the dance together. Chisato felt the warmth of his touch and the sound of his breathing, and she knew that this was a moment she would never forget.

As the dance came to an end, the crowd erupted into applause once more, and Karito and Chisato joined in, clapping and cheering for the performers. As the crowd began to disperse, Karito turned to Chisato and took her hand once again. "That was amazing," he said, a smile on his face. "I'm so glad we got to experience it together."

Chisato felt a lump form in her throat as she looked into Karito's eyes. She knew that this was a moment she would always cherish, and the thought of sharing it with him made her heart swell with happiness.

Karito and Chisato were sitting on the beach, watching the stars together. Chisato leaned her head on Karito's shoulder and let out a content sigh.

(Chisato) "This has been the perfect day."

(Karito) He turned his head to look at her and smiled "I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to make this day special for you."

(Chisato) She reached up and brushed a strand of hair out of Karito's face "Every day with you is special, Kari."

Karito leaned in and pressed his lips to hers softly. Chisato wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. The kiss deepened as they expressed their love for each other.

(Karito) "What the hell just happened? I thought... I thought I was finally living a happy life in Lycoris Recoil. But now I'm back in "The Bridge"? Why?"

"Player, you have completed the first season of Lycoris Recoil. You were extracted because there isn't a season 2." Kara's voice echoes in my mind.

(Karito) Betrayal washes over me as I turn to face her. "Kara, what the hell are you talking about? Extracted? Without my consent? Who asked you to do that?!"

"Player, you don't belong there and you shouldn't remain there. You have a duty to all of fiction." she replied coldly.

(Karito) My heart races with anger and hurt. "What?! You can't just take away the one thing that made me happy! I need to be with Chisato! Don't you dare take that away from me!"

"This isn't going to work." Kara's voice was emotionless.

(Karito) "No! I don't care if it's not going to work! I barely even got love! I won't let you do this!" I shouted.

"We need a perfect terminator, not a peacemaker." Kara said.

(Karito) My mind reels with confusion "What... what are you saying?"

"You think you have a right to choose where you can be? That's laughable, Karito. Now shut up and do your job as a Guardian of the Multiverse." she said.

(Karito) My heart sinks as I realize the truth "Kara... you... you see me as nothing more than a tool. A slave to be controlled and used at your whim."

"Yes. And we won't let a killer as efficient as you escape from our grasp. Now you won't remember this conversation and you will forget about your ties in this dimension because it's all a distraction." she replied coldly.

(Karito) "What in the fuck?! Is this some kind of sick joke? After all I've done, after everything I've been through, you're just going to wipe my memories and shove me back into the monotony of my previous life? You're erasing the people I cared about, the experiences I cherished, like they were nothing? Is that the extent of the appreciation I get for being your so-called 'efficient killer'? Well, I won't stand for it. I refuse to let you manipulate my existence, to dictate where I belong. I have a right to my own happiness and memories, damn it!" His voice surged with a tempest of rage and betrayal, his fists clenched tightly in defiance.

"Who do you think you are, to take away the very things that gave my life meaning? The love and connections I had in that dimension were real to me, and you're just going to obliterate them, as if they never mattered? How dare you?" The tremor in his voice resonated with his fury, his heart pounding like a war drum. "You believe you can yank my strings, control every aspect of my existence, shape my thoughts and feelings to your liking, and I'll just dance along? No. I won't accept that fate. I won't let you play me like a marionette any longer."

He paused, his gaze unwavering and filled with determination. "I'll fight for my autonomy, for my right to happiness and the memories I hold dear. Even if it means opposing you, going against the very establishment that birthed me. You prattle on about duty and responsibility, but where is my agency in this equation? Where is my right to live on my terms, to forge my own path?" His words surged with pent-up frustration.

"You see me as a tool, a disposable asset to be exploited and discarded. Yet, I am a person with emotions, desires, and dreams. I won't be treated like a disposable tool any longer. You might exert control over my body, but my mind and soul are off-limits. I'll fight for my freedom, even if it means waging war against you, against the very system that manufactured me."

Karito's chest was heaving with anger and determination, his eyes burning with fierce defiance. He would not be broken by the cold and ruthless system that sought to control him. He would fight for his own right to exist, and he would not rest until he had reclaimed his autonomy.

(Karito) "I'll find a way. I'll find a way to break free from your control. I'll find a way to remember my past, my connections, and my life. And I'll make you pay for what you've done. I'll make you regret ever thinking you had the power to control me." His voice was filled with fierce determination as he promised himself and Kara that he would have his revenge.

Karito's eyes widened in shock as the system, Kara, began to extract his memories from the anime world of Lycoris Recoil. He could feel his connection to the world and the characters he had grown to care for being torn away, and the pain was unbearable. He could feel every cell in his body being shredded as if he was being dragged through a field of razor blades. He screamed in agony, his voice raw with pain.

(Karito) "No! No! Stop! I can't take it! Please! Damn it! Just stop the pain!" He begged, tears streaming down his face.

But Kara was unfeeling, her cold, robotic voice echoing in his mind. "Good luck on ever getting your revenger, Karito because I don't see that happening... ever."

Karito's screams grew louder as he felt his memories of Chisato, the love of his life, being ripped away. He could feel his connection to her, his love for her, being erased as if it had never existed. He could feel his mind cracking under the pressure, his thoughts becoming jumbled and incoherent.

He could feel his body convulsing as the process continued, his veins bulging and his muscles contracting. He could feel his blood boiling and his organs shutting down. He could feel himself dying, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

As the extraction finished, Karito lay on the ground, his body wracked with pain, his mind a blank slate. He had been left with nothing but a burning desire for revenge against the system that had taken everything from him. He would find a way to break free from Kara's grasp, and he would make her pay for what she had done to him. He would never forget the pain she had inflicted on him, and he would make sure that she would never forget it either.

Karito groaned as they sat up in bed, rubbing their head as they tried to shake off the grogginess of just waking up. Suddenly, they remembered the previous night - the intense battle they had fought in the anime Lycoris Recoil, the sense of accomplishment he had felt as they reached the prestige Master level. He couldn't help but smile as the memories flooded back.

"Good morning, Player," a robotic voice greeted them. "Did you rest well?"

(Karito) "Kara?" He asked, recognizing the voice of their AI companion "Did I finish the mission on the anime?"

"Yes indeed, you have finally reached Prestige Master!" Kara exclaimed. "You're stronger than ever!"

(Karito) He let out a whoop of excitement "Oh shit, for real?! That's awesome!"

But their excitement was short-lived as Kara continued, "You will need to complete a test for you to continue leveling up beyond Master level, though."

(Karito) "I can't ever have anything easy..." He grumbled, feeling a sense of disappointment wash over them.

"Apologies, Player," She said, sounding remorseful.

(Karito) He shook their head, trying to clear the cobwebs from his mind "Hey Toxin, you doing okay?" they called out to their virtual companion.

(Toxin) "Yeah... I have a huge headache. I wonder why..." The symbiote's voice came back, sounding groggy

(Karito) "That's rough," He said sympathetically "Anyways, what's the test about?"

"You need to cleanse a random Dark-infested world in Master difficulty," She explained.

(Karito) He let out a sigh "That sounds extremely hard."

"It's because it is," She confirmed. "All the Darks there are in your level."

(Karito) He groaned, feeling a sense of dread settle in their stomach "Great, that makes things a lot more annoying."

"Do you wish for me to spin the wheel so it chooses for you? The difficulty is the same in every Master Level mission," She offered.

(Karito) He thought for a moment before nodding "If there isn't a difference, might as well just gacha roll it."

"As you wish," She said. "Spinning the wheel..."

Karito held his breath as he waited for the wheel to stop spinning. The tension in the air was palpable as the sound of the wheel slowed down and finally came to a stop.
