Nick's shoulder wasn't in a lot of pain, and now, with the storm passed, Nick was ready to finally go back to the village.
' We can go back now, but do I really have to wake her up? She actually looks kind of cute sleeping. ' Nick thought as he looked down at Raven with her head still on his shoulder.
Nick reached down with his hand to try and wake her up by pulling her ear, but as he was about to grab her ear, his hand was stopped when Raven's hand shot up and grabbed his wrist.
" Careful, you don't wanna break something. " Raven said, opening her eyes, holding Nick's wrist, moving her head off of Nick's shoulder, and letting go of Nick's wrist.
" Funny, you feeling better? " Nick asked, getting off the ground.
" Shouldn't I be asking you that question? Come to think of it, you have been asking questions for about two days. " Raven said, getting off the ground as well and stretching her arms.
" Because you're strange. " Nick said, walking off in the direction of the village.
Raven rolled her eyes and followed Nick, but said nothing to defend herself, walking in silence.
Both of them arrived at the village and saw Emily collecting for herbs for medicine.
Emily shot up seeing Nick with a large bite mark on his shoulder and Raven standing next to him when both of them had been gone for two hours.
" You two are in some much trouble right now. Leaving without telling everyone and Raven, you shouldn't even be outside after what happened. "
Emily said in a disappointing tone.
" To be fair, Lucas is the one who came to me, asking me to save his ass. " Raven said, crossing her arms looking away from both of them, and Nick thwacked her on the back of her head.
Raven placed her hand on where Nick thwacked her and turned to him, farrowing her brows at him, Nick stayed where he was with his eyes looking away from her.
" Enough, Nick, you need to go to the Med Building, and Raven, you're grounded. " Emily said, looking at both Raven and Nick.
Raven had wide-opened eyes at what Emily said, and Nick laughed at Emily's words.
" Hìtxoa " ( Excuse me? ) Raven said, with wide-opened eyes.
" I have every right to, and you live in the Hotel. I work in, and when you live under my roof, you live by my rules. " Emily explained and dragged Nick away towards the Medical Building, leaving the herbs behind.
Raven rolled her eyes and tightened her hands lightly, and walked towards the Hotel.
Raven opened the door to her room and locked it to make sure nothing would get in the way. She sat on the floor next to the untouched bed and searched under the bed with her hand, grabbed a Walkie-Talkie, and stood up and pressed a button on the side, and the Walkie-Talkie started to beep.
* ... ... ... *
" Raven? " Someone answered on the other side of the call.
" Yea, it's me. " Raven said to the person over the call.
" Good to hear your voice. How is your mission going? " The person asked, Raven felt confident build up inside her and spoke.
" That's what I want to talk to you about. I'm not doing it. " Raven said in confidence and felt scared at the same time.
" Sorry, I didn't get that. Did you say you're not doing it? " The person asked once again in a disappointing tone.
" Yes, because these are good people, and I can tell that they have been through so much, and I'm not going to let them be marked. " Raven said, standing up for Lucas, Nick, Emily, and Chloe.
" Well, you see, they were marked before you even arrived, but don't worry, we are going to collect you and those people soon. " The person chuckled at the start.
" When is soon? " Raven asked in anger as her eyes glowed.
" When we get there. " The person answered and ended the call, leaving Raven in sadness and anger.
Raven held the Walkie-Talkie in her hand as her body slowly lent against the wall and slowly began to fall down, and as she hit the floor, Raven hugged her legs tightly whilst trying to stay calm.
