Trinity's P.O.V
'hmmm, I see... So I can't perform any magic... Then that must mean I've been severed from the outer world... But how?' I thought while keeping my distance away from Mona, who just kept on trying to charge at me, but just got evaded in the process.
'could it be her weapon... Or that armour of hers?'
"you can't keep on evading every time trinity, sooner or later, you will meet my blade!" Mona roared out with a smirk on her face, as she kept on her hot pursuit of me, and just before any of her strikes could even land on me, I had already evaded it... However, it's still kind of tough to block due to me not being able to use magic again in the meantime.
"I don't know, I think I could keep this up before you exhaust yourself... Because from what I'm seeing... That armour of yours is consuming your mana in abnormal amount." I called out while taking a leap into the air with a great jump, distancing myself from an incoming strike by Mona. "and it's quite obvious that you're not ready for that, armour you hold... You're unfit to endure the strain it takes on the user's body-."
"shut up! I don't need your words to know my self-worth, You know nothing!" Mona cried out in distress, while managing to blitz behind me and was about to stab me. But immediately I twisted my body to the side and landed a swift kick to Mona's lower abdomen. Launching her to the wall and causing a large dust of smoke to fill the air which resulted in blocking my view, until... "infusion: dark slash!"
I felt a great force launched to my side by Mona, flinging me down to the ground. Though I managed to get myself back up, I still felt the little sting in my abdominal region... 'The girl is acting tough huh... Alright then.'
"Trinity!" Mona roared out while sprinting towards me with her sword getting ready to land a horizontal slash towards my right side, but immediately she reached I didn't block the hit and decided to do a quick somersault and therefore landed a solid left leg to her face, surprisingly distorting her balance, as I then resulted to disarm her from her sword and kick her towards the side away from her sword.
Mona tried to reach forward for her second, but instead, I stood between her and the sword and started to land strong kicks towards her, fully engaging her in hand to hand combat... Which I had the upper hand in right now. Though mona tried to fight back, it didn't work well for her, however, she began to form her hands in an axe-slashing position, and to my surprise... Her sword far away disappeared and formed an axe within Mona's hand.
I was in awe, surprised by this occurrence but immediately decided to dodge the first hit that was a vertical slash and then followed by a side hit, which I did a split to avoid. I then took the option of being on the ground, to swipe Mona's legs, taking her off balance again.
"you lack basic fighting skills, even without my magic I'm still overpowering you huh..." I commented and end it with a power kick to Mona's gut, launching her with her axe backwards towards a nearby wall in front of us. "and you wanted me to take this seriously..."
I walked towards her direction and, upon seeing her Kneel down with a very angry expression on her face.
"you're not just ready..." the moment I uttered those words... Something snapped in mona's body, as I started to feel this new found power... Or should I say...
A new found presence, as the armour's red veins started to over grow and paint the entire armour red with black outlinin, but as smoke rose up her face... Her right eye, became black with a red iris.
".... I'll show you... I'll show everyone..." I heard Mona whisper out in a malice-laced tone....until she gripped her now pure black axe that started to turn into a double-edged sword that resembled that of an authentic Knight arm... "by the authority of the monarch... I hereby unseal thy blessing upon thy self... And by my very order... I henceforth reawaken slitus...
Sacred arm: dark soul!"
Mona finished her spell, as the once black sword immediately turned into a bright red colour that matched her armour the same way. Before I knew what was going on, everything suddenly turned red... And then within a blink of an eye, Mona vanished from my very sight.
My senses screamed to duck, and as I did so, a sudden blade came above my head, releasing a large shockwave that destroyed the wall in front of me. I was about to move away from her way, to avoid close encounter, but the moment I was about to move. I saw another blade appear of nowhere and aimed for the right side of my face, but I managed to turn and avoid it just barely as my cheek was grazed by the attack.
I proceeded to kick back and create distance between us, though I started to pant and control my breathing. I saw mona running towards me... But this time, they were 3 of her... How? I engaged them all and tried to disarm one, in which I was successful in it and oversaw, I took one of the clones sword and kicked her back away from me, and proceeded to deal with the rest of them... But something about the sword within my grip felt too hot to hold, but i had to still keep my grip on it regardless.
'hmmm the sword seems to be getting hotter and hotter with every strike it receives... I might have to let it go.' I thought, while engaging the other two in a furious battle of sword art, I managed to slice one in the abdominal region and threw the sword at the other one who sliced through the sword with a vertical slash... And that must be the real on, as the other one turned into a dark smoke. "I see... So this must be one of the hidden powers of the sacred arm then."
"you can't win... This arm is beyond your level." Mona pointed out and charged at me with her even more glowing red sword that seemed to be releasing even more heat. "BEGONE!"
Third person P.O.V
--back at the 12 representatives waiting room—
"they need to stop this battle!" luca roared out and started to glare at the screen, as even rin was also panicking. Mark face was dark and dante had a worried look on his face too. "That Mona girl has fully awaken the armour."
"but what would happen if this they don't stop this match." Dante called out to luca, but luca just shaped his head in a no matter and turned towards him with his very serious expression.
"that armour is on a different league entirely... If they don't stop the match, Trinity won't be able to do much against it, and at this very point... She might end up being badly injured if not worse..." Luca answered but then returned his head back to the screen. "the point is... Trinity's opponent... Is not Mona anymore..."
"it's the armour Dante... The arm's blessing has become conscious at the very moment of awakening." Rin called out and seemed frantic. "mona's power level back then was her without the arm... But now, it's at the level of mark's beast cloak... It's off the chart."
'damn it... Come on Trinity you can do this.' Dante cheered in his heart for Trinity success. But Mark finally stood up and smiled while looking at the screen.
"well that could be the case... If Trinity doesn't show off her real power, you guys know what Trinity is capable of... Because from what I'm seeing... Trinity is still observing... Waiting for the right time." Mark pointed out in his usual loud voice. "you all know just how much damage Trinity can cause."
"...okay now that you mention it, I think she's good, if you need me, I'm catching z's, all this stress is getting me worked up for nothing" Luca suddenly changed his opinion on the situation and went of to sleep on the couch.
"though still... If she doesn't make an effort to fight back on time... It might still end up the same way..." rin repeated, still being tensed, as on the screen, trinity is seen being overpowered by Mona.
--back at the battle arena—
Trinity kept on dealing with the multitude of clones of mona, but as she was running up on the walls, she then proceeded to launch herself at a near by Mona... Presumably the real one, but something wasn't right... As Trinity gave Mona an axe leg drop... It forced Mona to go on one knee, while using her sword to block it.
"in fact... To be honest, you've done more better than I expected, against this arm all my foes shall fall..." Mona started... Until... She started to turn to smoke... Meaning that.
'this is a fake-.' Trinity thoughts were cut off.. As a sword came out from the smoke behind her, to reveal the real Mona with her sword aimed at her abdominal region... But Eventually Trinity got stabbed in the process... Forcing her to get on her knees, as that false mona faded away into smoke.
"and you... Shall not be the first to elude it's power... It's over." Mona said with a sinister smile, as Trinity kept her head down. "Game Over, sister."
