[Sometime Later]
Using the momentum from her successful conversion, May started cementing that her faith was real and all the others were fake she did this by doing 'life readings', sermons and such and when the heat came down she started building a foundation for her faith here in this village called Sagrob.
First things first she built was the rules and commandments of her faith she used the focus of 'Do onto others what you want others to do onto you' as the core of the faith and surprisingly it worked, May was confidently able to say she came up with it on her own with no help of Amira,(even tho it is technically her faith but okay)
With her faith being spread among the villagers, there of course came some people wishing to join it and become servents of Amira, May accepted all 7 of them with open arms, and she ended up training the 4 men to be paladins she gave them sword classes and sparing classes but it was a real shame that they were unable to use mana.
And of the 3 female members of Amira's cult, May ended up training as spokespersons for her religion so they might spread the glory of Amira to the world.
While May was training the new blood she was not idle herself, no using her connection to the kobold she set up a ore trade from the kobold's home to her, then she sold it to a merchant, that is until the greedy merchant started asking for a extremely large cut so May cutted ties with him and started training, 2 people from her religion to act as merchants one was female so she can spread her faith while selling stuff while the other one was male for protection.
May was sure that the merchant plan would fail but to her surprise, it actually succeeded and now she had a person spreading her religion into any village and town they visited, seeing that it succeeded the first time she ended up training one more group to be merchant's and they too started doing well and while the first group was selling ores the second one was selling weapons and armour made personally by the kobold's unpaid Smith.
With the success of her merchants May finally had enough money so she bought land and a house in the village that she ended up converting into a church for the faith of Amira, with the creation of the first church the faith had a boon in popularity and now most of the villagers of Sagrob were completely devoted to her faith so much so that she ended up pushing out the church of the light gods out of the village and she became the sole religion in the village.
With that came an influx of people who wished to join, she allowed some whom Amira said were fine to let in while she condemned some whom Amira pointed out were bad people, exposing those criminals and not allowing them to be servants of Amira earned her some points with the villagers.
Even tho May wished to expand quickly she knew she needed to secure her base first so using her growing wealth she bought a shop in the village, that sold the monster meat from the monsters she killed at dirt cheap prices even through all of this was happening May never forgot on personal strength she trained wherever she had free time or she went out to hunt to level up but she was never idle, most of her time was spend between working on the religion and growing stronger.
And finally, with the prosperity of the village that was increasing in villagers every single day, May was finally ready to expand, she gave the job of maintaining the shop to one Paladin of their church and went to another village with one of her merchants.
Pov:May Parker
On a carriage carrying ores 3 people were seated, one looked like a genuine priestess with a white robe with red highlights on the edges, the other person looked like a noble Knight wearing full steel armour with a sword tied to his waist, then there was May she was wearing a form-fitting black shirt and pants while wearing a small jacket, she cut her hair shorter and now looked like a completely different person then the savage leader of the kobolds.
The trip was mostly quiet until the priestess chose to address May
"High Priestess The village of Nahug is already partly converted "
May was intrigued by that piece of information
"Oh good, how much is the conversion?" May asked
"High Priestess If I ask 5 people in the street what is their religion 1 out of 5 will say the church of balance"
"Hmmm good good"
"I see that you have worked hard so do not worry Amira's light will shine upon you "
[Ugh]
""Yes HIGH PRIESTESS ""
With their confirmation, the ride again returned to silence.
[I really don't like that you started a religion after me]
'Is it really that bad?'
'You have people treating you like a Goddess you are, so what's the problem with that?'
[No I mean it's not that bad it's good that there are people that actually acknowledge my existence but it's just----]
'What? remember talking is the recipe for a healthy relationship'
[Well um you w]
'Spit it out I promise I won't make fun of you '
[Well the name you gave me it was special because it was just between us but no --]
'Hmm I see but you don't need to worry the name was not special the bond we share is special and no name or person will ever brake it you are my partner for life got it'
[Ye-s ]
".."
[Thank you ]
'You're welcome'
With the end of that conversation, May began to ponder about the future.
May was unsure of what the new place had in store for her but she was sure that she would handle it like she always does, after all, she has her own all-knowing partner in crime.
