Chapter 52 - Chapter Fifty-Two The Aurelians

Pyronis -

"I am Pryonis, Captain of the Aurelian military. I am also the personal guard to Olivia, princess of the Sun Dragons."

Cadma -

"Well, isn't it convenient for you to woo my mate?" I spat out with anger.

Irlas -

"Let me bite his head off and he will no longer be a threat!" with an angry raspy voice I yelled.

Roaring in agreement silently, I concur with Irlas.

Pyronis -

Ignoring the imbecile prince, I continued my conversation. It isn't about him and I and our differences. This is about the princess and her brother. When the whelp came out from behind the idiot, I was in shock. He was much younger than the princess but he could have been her twin. I was going to order blood work to prove kinship but it is obvious he is her sibling.

Looking over at Gandor, "I have checked the surroundings and I see there is no hidden military preparing to ambush us. I have the princess here with me. I will let my men and the princess come down from the skies so that we may all discuss the matter at hand. Young Whelp, you will meet your sister and she will give you her story. However, you look like a male version of Olivia, you are indeed her brother."

I looked at Gandor and The idiot and noticed that they had not dressed from their shift back to their human forms, "Could you two please get dressed before the princess enters?" I turned and walked out of the office, making my way to walk out of the castle to bring in my love."

Cadma's point of view -

Pyronis is an egotistical, mate-snatching a..hole. I motioned to Gandor to follow me to my room, so that he could change in my ensuite bathroom. As for the clothes we brought home from the East Kingdoms royal pack, Gandor and I still had them.

As Gandor dressed in my bathroom, I pulled out a white dress shirt and a pair of black tailored slacks from my closet. The top three buttons should remain open. To complete the look, I put on my black dress shoes. Last but not least, I put my hair back into a loose ponytail that hangs down my back.

Turning my full-length mirror in front of me, I smile at how handsome I am.The princess will most definitely want this, there is no doubt about that. I nod at myself in the mirror.Currently, I am sporting an eight-pack.Exercise is part of my daily routine, and people say my blue eyes sparkle like gems. The ladies are always captivated by my megawatt smile. It will be interesting to see if that A...hole can match me.

When Gandor walks out, he is dressed in blue jeans and a t-shirt. I ruffle his recently combed hair, only to have him slap my hand away. I laugh as Gandor is at an age where he is fun to tease. I see Gandor wrinkle his brows, then turn to me.

I see Gandor fumbling his fingers, seemingly scared to tell me something. "Do you think this Olivia is my sister? If she is, and she is kind to us, Gandor...." I see Gandor squinting.

"I won't hurt you, Gandor! Have your say! Go for it!"

As Gandor looks at me pleadingly, he says, "Well, you are a lady's man for sure. I think every she-dragon who hasn't slept with you wants to. Although you liked my sister very much, Ashina, on the whole, only saw you as a friend. I am no longer worried about Ashina. I ask you, however, if Olivia's my sister and you're her mate, would you harm her because of your popularity among your adoring women?"

In fear of offending me, Gandor glanced down at the ground. Although I wanted to be angry, no one has spoken out about my relationship with the clan she-dragons, not even my parents. As far as Gandor is concerned, he isn't lying.

Sitting on my bed with my head bent and resting between my hands, I sighed. "Honestly, I never thought about it. I just thought it was my business and nobody else's. Buddy, I hope I will be faithful. I hear that the mating pull helps you be faithful, but I know that is not a guarantee. In any case, I'd like to say I'd like to try. If I can't be the man Olivia deserves, I'll let her go. Is that okay with you?"

The apprehension on Gandor's face changes into a half-smile when he raises his hand to shake mine. In response to my question, Gandor replies, "Deal!".

I stand up, straighten out my slacks and make sure they are wrinkle-free after sitting down. I gestured to Gandor that we should leave and meet his sister and my mate. My head is filled with the sounds of Irlas dancing with extreme excitement.

With all the people, my father will take them to the elegant conference room, so that is where we're going. The conference rooms are all located on the first floor. On our way down, Gandor and I will be walking from the fourth floor. Despite its size, there are no other dragons living in the castle. If dignitaries from other clans visit, they are provided with extra rooms. There is a greater tendency for dragons to be loners. Moonlight runs are not something we do together like dogs do. My walking pace is slow so that when she looks up and sees me walking in, I want that effect. It makes me laugh to see Gandor running down the stairs ahead of me in search of the right room.

As soon as I reach the bottom floor, I don't need to know what room my mate is in. I just follow her delicious scent and smell the roasted marshmallows. Upon opening the door, I find her sitting next to a pompous A..hole. My temper began to flare as I saw her holding his hand out on the table. As I watched her face, I saw shock on her face. There is no doubt that she knows I am her mate. The guards were already standing guard next to my father, and he was shouting at Pyronis to release Olivia's hand. Begrudgingly, he accepts. Walking over, I sat in a chair on Olivia's other side. There is no way I'm going to allow this A...hole to take my beautiful mate away from me.

My eyes were drawn to her light golden hair and her light golden skin. There is something goddess-like about her. The mate bond has never struck me as so special until now. How could I ever think anyone else would do it except my mate?

Seeing Pyronis roar silently at me to stop staring at Olivia, I respond with my own roar of warning. It will take a long time to conclude this meeting.
