Andor –
It wasn't long until I found Ashina outside the house. She stated that she had something she wanted to tell me about, and it sounded urgent. In a rush, I hurried the Alpha's from my office.
My curiosity was piqued when I followed her delicious scent only to discover that she was with Lizard Boy. My wolf felt the urge to attack the reptile and kill Cadma as he was actively trying to steal my mate.
Jasper -
As Jasper continues to growl in my mind, he keeps repeating, "Mine! They are mine! I will kill the lizard boy! He's trying to steal what is mine! Let me kill him Andor! Let me out!"
Andor -
"Shush Jasper, listen. Akira is telling Cadma they are not a couple! See, she loves us, Jasper."
Jasper -
"Now don't screw anything up human!"
Andor -
"You are never going to let me forget about my nickname for Cadma's dragon, are you?"
Jasper -
"What that isn't the nickname he gave you. The nickname he gave you was Stupid human! Actually, that suits you simply fine!"
Andor -
"You are a traitor! Don't talk to me Jasper!" It is then I block and ignored my wolf, Jasper."
Whenever I smell Apple cinnamon, my beautiful mate, I get a warm feeling inside. A smile spreads across my face as I admire the beauty of my mate. My attention was drawn to the fact that she was not smiling back at me.
Then sitting with her at the table, asking what she needed to discuss. In my mind, being alone meant making out and eventually continuing where we left off this morning in our bed.
As I stared google-eyed at my mate, I could not hear a word she said. All I could see was her beauty, her eyebrows that rose up and down occasionally and the furrows around them.
Shaking myself out of my lovesick stupor, I started to listen and that is when I heard I.... It was her trying to reject me.
My wolf pushed forward and jumped over the table, having me kiss my mate, "Stupid wolf I would have done the same thing, there was no need to take over." I yelled at him.
"Stupid human you were moving too slow, and not to mention she had already started the rejection while you were in LaLa land. Idiot!" This is when my wolf receded to the back and ignored me.
We had both fallen on the dirt and my lips were locked firmly on hers, not letting her speak another word. I bit her lip and I let my tongue take over. At first, she was trying to push me off, but then she fell right into the mate bond. Grabbing my hair and she started fighting for dominance with our tongues.
Once I let go, I needed her to listen to me.
"Akira, I understand you are fearful. You have a war to fight and a kingdom to rule. I get that, not to forget I didn't wait for my second chance mate. Truthfully, I didn't believe I would get another chance for a mate." I laid my head on hers and stated, "I am sorry, I promise you I will spend my life making it up to you. You are my life now, and where you go, I will follow!"
Akira-
"But what about your kingdom? I don't see how this can ever work?"
In Andor's eyes, I see a look of love and pleading? Could it be love? Neither of us really knows the other yet.
As I was mesmerized by his beautiful green eyes like those of a forest, I became trapped in the bond. The blackness of his hair is as deep as a night without a full moon. Without even realizing that I'm doing it, I gently brush back some of his hair that has fallen into his eyes.
Andor -
"Ashina, give me a little time. Please? I beg of you! I may have a way for us to be together and for you to not lose your kingdom! Trust me please?"
Ashina -
Looking into his eyes trying to read the truth behind his word, I only saw sincerity and love again. This totally throws me for a loop. I can't even express how I feel about Andor yet. Nodding yes, I could tell I had made Andor the happiest I had ever seen this moody man. Andor jumps up and lifts me into his arms bridal style.
Laughing, "Where are you taking me?" I now have my arms wrapped around his neck raising my eyebrows in curiosity.
Andor -
"We still have to finish from this morning" Winking at me as he is running into the pack house.
Ashina-
"You horndog let me down!"
Andor -
"I can't hear you!" Laughing loudly as he runs with me.
What I didn't see was Cadma behind some trees scowling as he watched what was going on with Andor and I.
