*CRASH!!*

Ken suddenly fell from the air and crashed onto the floor.

"Is that so..?" Ken said in a smooth tone. His voice was giving off a comforting, yet devious aura.

A cloud of dust surrounded and settled around the area where Ken had land. A thick mysterious mist was what was being formed.

*Whoosh~*

Even though the area where the battle was being commenced was concealed from the outside, preventing anything or out without permission, a cool breeze blow the settled mist backwards. A small portion of the cloud disappeared, while a large portion stayed.

[Bottom Floor.]

Down at the bottom floor, one of the members of the Pong Fang crew was making a tantrum.

"What the hell!?" Maki shouted with a fuming anger inside her voice. "How is that fair?!"

"What's the commotion for, Maki?" Zach inquired with only a slight hint of concern. He had turned his head around to the back of the chair, because Maki was standing behind him. And he rested his hand on the top of the seat.

Maki turned her back to the large screen what she was watching and pointed her index finger behind her at the screen. She then continued, "Don't you see what's going on?"

"Huh?" Zach inquired with a large hint of confusion in his voice. "I guess not."

"Are you the only one that is oblivious to the whole situation?!" Maki exclaimed and inquired with an utmost annoyance tone. "How dumb are you you, you stupid prick?!"

"Ouch. That hurt. But I don't quite get youuuu..." said Zach, drafting away with his words. In confusion, he scanned the surrounding occupants of the table. He was that the expressions on their face was either full of anger, annoyance and shattered confidence printed on the gangs faces.

For Maki, she was annoyed. Sean was enraged and Akira, his confidence in his victory was crumbling.

The confused Zach then bursted out, saying, "Ehh?!"

"(Hmph!)" Akira scoffed in his head. "(That bastard!)"

Kuwobasa began to tensing his palm and grit his teeth in anger and frustration. He then continued, "(Everyone here has nothing to gain, but lose. More to say, making some innocent and helpless soul risk their life and probably lose it for their sick entertainment. The only thing I see those psychos gain is their.. fuckin amusement!)"

"(Argh!)" Akira growled in his thoughts in utmost anger. He sustained himself though, preventing any outburst. "(I'm not here to find joy. No! I'm here trying to save lives... Hopeful lives!)"

"(That little dog. He should have gave me what I needed in the first place, and not me come to some stupid tournament. And further more, his targeting me! And I believe me only.)" Kuwobasa thought with a deep sense of hatred. "(He must think this is some kind of game!)"

"(His taking his youth for granted, and I'm using my own preserve the upcoming youths lives.)"

"I still don't understand.." said Zach. He scratched the back of his head as he said so.

"Ugh!" Maki scoffed in annoyance. "Your observation skill is ass."

"Don't you realize that all the other monsters were obviously weaker than the one our guy is fighting right now?!" Maki explained. "Why all of a sudden our team is fighting that thing?!" Maki said while pointing at the screen while facing the ignorant Zach.

"Ohhh," said Zach with a large hint of realization. "So are you saying that our battle is rigged, and they we're being targeted by the 18th Ge-?"

*CRASH!!*

Zach was suddenly by a loud crash that was heard from above the bottom floor. It came from the ceiling first, which was muffled and then from the large screen, what was more louder and clearer than the first.

"What was that?!" Sean inquired in a fright.

"What hell?!" Another person asked.

"Where did that come from?!" Another person said.

"Oh, my ears!" Shouted an old man.

"What!? I thought old people couldn't be in invited here!" A lady complained.

"Shut up, you fine milf!" Screamed the old man.

"This guy is a perv!" Said another guy.

Everyone on the bottom was alert, but then shifted their attention to the large screen that was broadcasting the fight from the top floor.

"Huh?" A person inquired.

On screen was the aftermath of Ken landing on the ground. The people saw this from the bottom floor and began to chat.

"He has to be dead." Said a person.

"Welp! His fucked." Said another person.

The comments were unending. The noise was bustling on the bottom floor.

On screen was a mist of dust surrounding a large area. The cause was Ken being hit by a deadly and powerful attack that sent him crashing to the floor.

A voice then suddenly said from the cloud of dust, "Is that so..?"

"Huh?!" Screamed a person who was utmost shocked.

"The fuck!?" A person cursed in disbelief.

"Nngh?!" A person groaned.

"*Mumbles* What?" Another person inquired by mumbling.

"I thought that bastard wa dead! How the hell is he still alive?!" A person spoke in confusion, yet rage. "Anyone would have died from that. ANYONE! So how is he still able to breathe and speak?!"

The confusion of the bottom floor was tense and priceless. They quarreled and cuss about: If Ken was either human or something else?

"(W-what..?)" Akira wondered with a surprised, but enlightened expression.

[First Floor.]

"How the hell are you still talking?" Ezil asked Ken with an surprised and in awe tone.

The mist had still not settled or vanished yet. It continued to conceal Ken's identity and his physical state.

*Whoosh~*

Another gust of wind was what it need to be banished. The mist was blown away and the dust settled back to the floor.

"I don't know," said Ken nonchalantly. "Ask yourself that."

*Du-Dun*

Ken's clothing was now turned into rags. Tears went through his garments, revealing his uncovered body underneath.

"What did you just say?" Ezil said with a obvious him of rage and annoyance in his voice. The being grasped its palms tightly together and gritted its sharp phantom teeth to almost the point of extinction. "Say that again of you dare."

"Dude," said Ken with a darken face. He then look to his right hand to only see a lot of wood; the remains of the spear he wield. He then turned his head to the phantom being, and looked him in the eyes and said softly, "I don't give a damn if you are offended or not.."

"(You're too emotional!)" Ken exclaimed in his mind.

Ezil scoffed, feeling powerless in this fight. "Hmph!"

He lifted his head to the ceiling and peered at the beaming light that illuminated the entire floor. Then he turned his head to now the scattered and inorganic spears at the side of the room, and then finally the giant and furious Akuma that stood in the middle; all high and mighty.

"And Ezil," said Ken softly, "how the fuck am I suppose to know how I survived that?! You both are just pissing me off!!"

[Bottom Floor.]

"YOU BOTH ARE JUST PISSING ME OFF!" The screen played with Ken's voice amplified.

"Huh? Both? Two?!" Someone on the area inquired.

"What is that shit house talking about?" Inquired another person.

"What does he mean by both?" Said another.

"To whom is he address?" Another person asked.

Many people from the bottom floor spoke in confusion. Whenever something unexpected or confusing happens, they'll start to chat amongst themselves.

"Is this guy crazy or something?" Sean inquired while seated at the same table. "And.."

Sean then abruptly grabbed Maki's waist and pulled her towards him. She was still standing from last time.

"Can't you just take a seat? You're blocking the screen," said Sean.

Maki had landed on Sean's lap. A huge red blush suddenly appeared on her cheeks.

"Hey!" Maki shouted with an embarrassed tone. "Let go of me, you creepy perv!"

Maki hurriedly hopped out of Sean's lap. It was less than a millisecond, and Maki was already on her feet. Her arms were folded while she pouted with the large red bluff on her face.

"Huh?" Sean inquired? He was caught off guard by Maki's incredible speed. "(How could someone move that fast?)"

"How in hell can you do that?!" Maki asked in an surprised voice. "You know that I'm Akira's sister. I can just order him to kill you. You know that?"

"What?" Sean asked. "I was telling you to take a seat, so what's the matter?"

"Urgh!" Maki scoffed harshly in annoyance.

"And why is your face red?" Sean asked while looking at Maki's scarlet face.

"W-what?" Maki said nervously. She then took a seat which was right next to Sean. "I-I don't know what you're talking about.."

"Okay, witch," said Sean nonchalantly.

"Hmph!" Maki scoffed once again.

Zach and Akira wasn't aware of this conflict. That was because their attention was drafted and glued else where. Their attention was utmost to the large screen.

Their eyes were showing that they were trusty for more.

Even Akira, who wasn't here to find amusement, joy, nor entertainment, found himself immersed in the scenario.

[Top Floor/First Floor.]

Ken grasped the long of wood in his hand tightly, with only a reasonable amount of strength.

His fingers then imprinted into the log, leaving a few cracks and dents in the wood.

"(Yeah.)" Ken said with a hint of realization. "(This shit is definitely fucking dry rotten!)"

He once again laid pressure on to the piece of wood, and another small part of it crumbled off.

"(But that doesn't matter, nor does it concern me!)" Ken said.

He clenched the log of wood in his hand tightly once again. He lifted it in the air; above and behind his head. When it was above his head and steady, Jen pulled back his hands even more, setting himself in a throwing posture.

"(The world and it's people may see me as a ruin or a failure, but it is only a matter of time...)"

Ken threw the shard of wood a which was aimed at the Akuma infront of him. He throw it with so much might, that it could be heard crackling through the air as it pierced the atmosphere.

The shard went flying. It accelerated in speed as the time went by and by, and on and on.

"(.. they will be aware..)"

The shard then made contact with the Akuma. It penetrated its skin and burst out of its back.

"Nhg?!" The monster shouted as the shard pierced through its flesh and exited.

"(.. of..)"

"Hugha?" The creature inquired.

A shadow loomed over the beast. Catching a hint of this presence, it was teased into looking upwards.

Up above the Akuma was Ken. He wield another spear that was held in both hands, in a posture in the air ready to strike down. His face was also darkened; blocked by the lack of light on his face.

".. TRUE SUPERIORITY!!"
