"THE NEXT AND FINALLY CHALLENGER, PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE TOP FLOOR!!" The announcer command.
An individual entered the elevator that would lead him to the top floor. The elevator rised to the next floor above.
Once the individual had reached the top floor, he exited the elevator and waited patiently for his opponent.
[Bottom Floor.]
Maki watched from her seat. Her eyes were glued to it for some reason.
"Hey guys," called Maki. "Who is that?" She pointed at the unknown individual shown on the screen.
"Him?" Zach asked while pointing at the large screen. "I don't know. Ask your brother, he knows everything I guess."
"It's just that," said Maki, "his cute."
On screen was a young male with short red hair and fair skin. He had dark colours under his eyes that made him have a lazy and tired expression which he most certainly was. He wore plain dark clothing and a red scarf around his neck.
"Hmph!" Zach scoffed. "Too bad his already dead."
"You call that cute," said Zach. "He looks like he haven't slept for the whole, dreaming about this fight. Much less, he wouldn't even make it. He doesn't look like a fighter."
"Are you jealous because I called him cute?" Maki inquired while still looking at the screen.
Zach, who was seated on his chair backwards with his back hunched down and his hands and head rest and the top of the chair, said, "What do I care about your opinions. You're just a dumb 18 year old girl, while I'm 20."
"So you're jealous that your old?" Maki asked still looking at the screen.
"Sigh. If I'm old to you, go fuck yourself. But I don't care," said Zach. "I ain't jealous because you called him cute. I'm jealous because he is."
"So you're jealous because you're ugly then?" Maki asked with her eyes glued on to the large screen.
".. You bitch.." said Zach with a lackadaisic and nonchalantly voice.
[Top Floor/First Floor.]
"Sigh." The competitor on the top floor let out sigh before continuing. "My boss told me introduce to audience so I'll just do it."
"My name is Ren Yu and I'm 19 years old," said Ren. "I once lived in Seoul before I transported to the USA. I'm a very lame guy and that's all really think you need to know about myself. I sound stupid talking to myself!"
[Bottom Floor.]
"Aww, his so cute. He even has a cute name like Ren," said Maki with a blushing. This time she took her eyes off the screen and pointed at it while looking at Zach with a smile. "Unlike you who has a bunch of tattoos around his face. I can't tell if you're ugly or just ugly."
"Bitch! I have fake tattoos just to look hard!" Zach exclaimed.
"Your tattoo on are fake?" Sean inquired.
Zach inquired, "Eh?"
"Maki really has him fumbling," said Akira.
"Woah? Uh.. shut up!" Zach exclaimed.
[Top Floor/First Floor.]
The cage on the other side - which was shaped as the elevator but with a red light - opened. The red light turned green and a Akuma walked out.
The Akuma was shaped like a human. Its torso was elongated and its legs were tall. Its head was normal human size but it was on abomination. It's teeth were sticking out and its eyes were pointed out of its sockets; they were sticking up above its head like antennas. They had no pupils, only milky white.
Its physique was skinny to the bone. Malnourished to the core. It could barely stand up, yet only fight.
Suspiciously, their was a some kind of pin that was stuck to its neck.
[Bottom Floor.]
"What the fuck is that?" Zach inquired with a hint confusion. "Are they helping this guy?"
"It could be so," said Akira. "Since his the 18th Gem's fighter."
"No one they gave this guy a low in protein plant. It's like the sun didn't exist for this guy," said Zach.
Akira watched closely while Zach continued to chat.
[Top Floor/First Floor.]
Ren began to walk up the creature with his hands in his pockets. Every step had the same gravity as a leaf, weak and silent.
When he reached to the Akuma, he looked up at it, staring the entity down.
In response, the creature looked down at him and stared at him.
The Akuma launched the first attack. It tossed at weak swing towards Ren with its wrist.
Ren easily evaded the attack by leaning back and allowing the attack to pass over him.
Ren then walked backwards, away from the creature.
After a save distance away, Ren looked up to the ceiling and nod his head.
[Surveillance Room.]
"The guy just loves to face hardships, yet he looks like a lazy bum," said Trimaine while in his office. He was holding a remote control in his hand.
He pressed the single button the remote - which was orange - and proceeded to watch the outcome of his judgement.
[Top Floor/First Floor.]
"They must take me for some sissy, making me fight this unathletic being," said Ren. "I need a worth challenger to prove my might surpasses the class that they have put me in."
As he send those words, the Akuma that stood infront of him began to expand. The pin on the side if its neck had flashed green and then went back to it's dull gray. Its muscles began to buddle up and bulge out. Its veins began to glow green and was now hyper visible.
It now stood at a height of 10 feet. In comparison, Ren was 5'10ft.
The Akuma began to scream as if it was in pain. Its shoulders began to engulf its head with all its muscle.
After its incredible transformation, from a malnourished basketball player to bodybuilder that took steroids that was the same mass of a whole continent, it was now a complete abomination.
Its milky white antennas stared down at Ren with no remorse.
Ren - on the other hand - was not afraid of this absolute beast. His eyes hel no conviction but his actions were bold. He stood his ground while looking at the mighty Goliath.
"Your ugly," said Ren nonchalantly. "But why am I being lookist? If that's even a word. I ain't prefect."
The monster then came charging towards Ren with great speed for it's large body.
"Wow!" Yu exclaimed.
He expertly dodged out of the way by doing a backflip.
The Akuma whole entire body was the right infront of Ren. It looked at Ren as he was; an insect.
It clenched its fist and delivered a powerful punch to the ground. A shockwave was sent through the room, even the bottom floor could fill this. It was like a mini earthquake.
"Huh?" Ren inquired while miraculous holding his balance. "I wonder how they keep fixing the floor in such a short amount of time. I guess boss is right. Ronald, Renard and Sheamar are some actual scientist."
The Akuma began to toss pieces of rocks at Ren with incredible speed.
He dodged them professionally and just majestically. It almost felt of Ren was not taking the monster seriously, but was just daydreaming through out the entire fight.
The Akuma then halt the siege of stones that it was throwing. He raised up and stood on its feet.
It once again stared Ren down, but this time with rivalry.
It balled up another fist, this time gathering all the energy in that one hand to finally destroy Ren. But this only provide Ren a excuse to finally to take this fight into account.
Ren walked up towards the Akuma, every step holding the same gravity of immediate destruction. Even the Akuma could feel the strong presence of danger, and it making it weak.
Ren was like a vampire. Every step he took was like he was taking a mouthful of blood from the Akuma, except it was strength.
Soon all its blood was drained out of its already made corpse.
Ren balled up a fist of his own and enters the Akuma's range. He rises the first to his face and throws a jab.
The jab moved at such quick speed that it was like he didn't throw it. It leaved a dent in the Akuma's leg.
"Arghhhh!!!" The Akuma screamed in agony as it starts to feel the pain of the attack.
It grasped it's thigh and knells down. It then turned it's head upwards to look up at Ren.
".. How ironic. This whole fight you were looking down on me, but now you're looking up at me when I just tossed one little jab that held no power behind it. Ahh, get really," said Ren. "I need a real, not worthy opponent since this is what fate picked as worth."
Ren turned around and began to walk towards the elevator.
[Bottom Floor.]
"Hey, he hasn't finished off the monster," said Sean.
On screen Ren suddenly stopped. He the delivered a powerful attack with his leg; a back kick.
The attack blows of the head of the Akuma completely leaving only his neck.
[Surveillance Room.]
Trimaine something said mockingly, yet compassionately. "You may have a wannabe king, Akira. But I have a monster."
