*Step*

*Drizzle*

*Pour*

A storm emerged suddenly out of nowhere. As Ken walked, the rain beat down on his head.

*THUNDERCLAP!!*

Lightning strike down from the sky, deafening anyone or anything that was close.

"Screech!", A loud high pitched scream roared at Ken from the darkness of the streets he walked.

He turned to confront the entity that cursed at him. It was an Akuma.

"This is the first time I saw one of these things outside.", He said with a grin.

"Shit, how long have I been out here?", He questioned.

"Two hours.", Ezil answered with a grim smile.

"*Yawn* Crap.".

The Akuma charges forward at the armed Ken. Water was beating of it's leafy martial.

It stood up like a fan. It head hold many drowned, white petals. In the middle of the petals was a brown, grainy face with a large smile. It's smile ripping it face; sharp teeth, and saliva dripping from the top ones and was sticky like slime.

The Akuma had four legs beneath, that looked like they belonged to a spider. The edge was sharp and pointy as it could be. It stabbed through the ground as if it was cotton.

As the monster rushed Ken, he stood still. He lowered his spear from his shoulders and pointed face to face with the Akuma.

He lift up his eyes to get a good look at the creature.

*Stab*

The he stabbed it below the it's white, fluffy head. He lift the light creature in the air.

The Akuma staggered as it was impaled. It threw constant attacks at Ken with it's sharp legs but it was futile. The spear was too long, making it's attack unreachable.

*Pow*

Ken then dragged the spear behind his hands and kick the Akuma off his spear.

Dark green liquid oozed out of its body as it laid on the ground. It slowly rised to it's feet. The Akuma tried to attack Ken once again, but was it mistake.

Ken lowered his spear to the ground. He then lifted with all his strength as fast as could and slashed the Akuma in half.

The two half's of it's body fall separate sides. Blood slowly launch out from the veins of the creature, leaving that part of the road in a bloody mess.

"That was easy.", He said while looking at his spear's blade that was covered in thick green blood.

"I'll have to kill the blade somehow.".

"Lead the way Ezil.".

[Back at Courtesy.]

*Pour*

The rain drizzled on the top of the rover, fainting a loud conversation inside.

"Hold on?! We are leaving him?!", Cyan shouted at Zen. It seem as if he and Zen was in a argument.

"Yes; we have to. We have spent over seven hours out here. We need to go back now.", Zen said with a more serious voice than ever.

Cyan continued to argue, "What if his on his way now! We can't leave him and hope for the best that he survives tomorrow!".

Everyone else was silent in the matter. The gates have a curfew that begins a 9:30pm and end at 3am. At that time everyone's asleep, so no one will be able to open the gate. It was now 8:03.

No one wanted to be stuck outside for a night.

"I can go look for him.", Aiden suggested.

Except some.

"No, you won't be able to find him in time.", Zen said.

*THUNDERCLAP!!*

"We have to leave now.".

"Syria, start the rover.", Zen ordered.

Syria let out a sigh and then turned around in her seat. Her gut was hurting, because she didn't want to leave Ken outside. She was worried, but she started Courtesy anyway.

*Buzz*

"Fuck!", Cyan dropped himself on the dark blue cushion, while face palming himself. He was in grief of the thought his best friend might die out there.

"What about us?!", A masculine voice asked.

It was the attackers that were sent by the 15th Gem. They were tied up in ropes and sitting in the floor.

"Let them go.", Zen commanded.

"*Sigh*", Alexia kneeled down and slowly untied the men. When she was finished, she took the rope and rapped it around her hand.

"Go.", She told them.

Syria opened the door, allowing the men to leave. They all scattered, except one.

"Let's get out of here!", One shouted.

The crew peered as the men ran away, not realizing that one stayed.

"Uhh..", The one that stayed started to stutter at his words.

Alexia looked down at where the men were. She saw that one was still sitting there.

He was the guy with dark skin.

"What are you doing?", Alexia questioned the man.

The man answered, "Uhh.. I-I wanted to stay. Can I come with you guys?".

Alexia looks up at the front where Zen and Syria are.

Zen looks down and up at the man before saying, "He can stay. We are running out of time anyway.".

"*Whisper* Yeah.", The man silently cheered.

The engine that was still buzzing went smooth as the rover hastily moved.

*THUNDERCLAP!*

"They're moving.", Ezil informed Ken.

"What?", Questioned Ken.

A grim smile covered Ezil face as he said again, "Hehe, your crew, they're moving. They left you".

*Pour*

"Fuck.", Ken cursed.

"Looks like you are staying out here for the night, before they come back tomorrow or if take another three day break. Kekeke.", Ezil said with a mocking voice. His smile grew bigger every word he said.

"..."

"What are you writing in your diary?", Jackson inquired to Dauntea. He had new burnt mark on his neck.

Dauntea looked at him with a date face but still answered his question, "It's the Akumas. I'm writing about their chemistry.".

"Chemistry?", Jackson questioned.

"I not going to explain it to you.", Dauntea hastily said.

"Look, the first one that we meet in the tech company. They had evolved to use the ability to use inosculation or simply called trunk fusion. The second ones at the gas station were able to burn without turning to ash, they had used-", Jackson soon cut of Dauntea.

"Hold on, I'm confused.", Jackson said.

Dauntea let out a sigh before Jackson inquired, "Weren't they somehow oozing out oil?".

"What?", Dauntea inquired.

"..."

.

.

.

[4 hours and 7 minutes before.]

"JACKSON!".

*Whoosh*

The Akuma dragged Jackson with it's black, oozing hands, out of Dauntea's line of sight.

Dauntea hurriedly turned the corner. What he saw was the Akuma hold Jackson in the air.

Suddenly, it's body ignited in flames.

*BOOM!*

Dauntea was sent flying at the sudden outburst of the flames. It's leg's oozing with black, thick liquid. It stood upright, like a humanoid, only with a few difference.

It's had four arms, with finger nails as long as four inches as well as it's toe nails. It's head was massive and it's mouth was wide as a book.

"Fuck!! Ahhh!!", Jackson screamed out as the flames from the Akumas hand scorched his neck.

*Pow*

The hand of the Akuma suddenly was fling into the air. Aiden stood at the other side, while kneeling on the floor.

"Such a scumbag.", Aiden cussed looking at his burnt shoe.

He picked up his shoe and grasp it in his hand.

The Akuma rushed at him with a lost arm. Aiden as well dashed forward.

As the two clashed, Aiden shoved the shoe into the Akumas mouth. He then flipped it over with the hand with the shoe in it's mouth. It fell on the ground and Aiden proceeded to stomp it's head in.

*Smash!*

The fire subsided as black flesh flew on Aiden's face.

"Is it the only one?", Aiden questioned the two.

Dauntea answered first with fearing voice, "I-I-I d-don't kno-ow.".

Zen soon came out from the room, holding carrying four canisters on each hand, sticking whole hand into the handle.

"What happened out here?", inquired Zen.

"...", The crew stayed silent at his inquiry.

They soon exited the station. Zen went to fill up the canisters.

Aiden looked around with a concerned face. He walked up to Syria and inquired, "Where's Ken?".

"Umm.. he went out just awhile ago. I thought he would come back..*Whisper* anytime now..".

Aiden went off leaving Syria.

"Hey, where are you going?!", Syria shouted at him, this time following behind him.

"I'm looking for Ken.", He answered.

"Crap, crap, crap.", She mumbled while following Aiden.

They checked all the roads in the area, every building by calling his name and every alley. Everywhere the two went they didn't find him.

"Where could he have gone?", Syria inquired. Her anxiety was building up everytime he wasn't found in a place.

"We should go back.", She suggested.

"We can't. We have to find him before we leave.", Aiden demanded.

"Hey!", A shout called out to the duo.

It was Zen being followed by Jackson and Dauntea.

"What are you guys doing?!", He questioned.

As he got closer, Aiden answered, "We are looking for Ken!".

"Where has he gone to?", Dauntea inquired.

Aiden started to scam the streets again before saying, "... I don't know.".

"He was out here with Syria. Didn't you see where he went?", Zen asked.

Syria answered cautiously, "I saw him go up road, but I then took my eyes off him.".

"Ugh. Why did you let him leave.", Zen said with a very irritated voice.

"Wait a minute? What's the time?", He asked around.

They all shrugged their shoulders.

"I don't have a watch or a phone on me.", Jackson said.

"*Sigh* We have to go back.", Zen said with a very dark voice.

"Huh? What do mean we have to go back?", Aiden inquired to Zen. His voice fuming with arrogance and ignorance.

"We have to go back to the shelter, before curfew.", Zen said. "If we don't we'll be stuck out here for the night.".

"What about Ken? He'll be stuck outside for the night too!", Aiden began to argue with Zen.

"Look, we can only hope that he survives until then. Come on.", Zen demanded with a heavy voice.

The crew followed behind Zen as he walked away.

"Fuck.", Aiden cursed; his voice low and fuming.

[Present.]

"Fuck.", Aiden said again while the rover drove away from the, seemingly, abandoned city.
