*VROOM*
*Pour*
The Akuma continued to follow pursuit of the rover which Bara and the old man was in.
Bara was at the front managing the direction of the rover while the old man was sitting in the back whining over the pain in his ear.
"Are you all right Gramps?!" Bara inquired with a shout.
"My head is hurting and I'm freaking nauseous, so yeah, I am not alright," The old man answered. "By the way, do you know where you're going?"
"Of course I do," Bara answered the old man question. "We're heading to the boss."
The Akumas continued to follow the two.
After a few minutes, they reach a parking lot, where to halt.
"What are you doing?!" The old man inquired.
The boy answered, "Relax, we are save."
The Akumas then charged straight at the rover. Infront was something of a mini toy car which they seem to be following urgently.
*BANG!!, BANG!!, BANG!!*
Gunshots started to rain down upon the creatures, sealing their faith.
On the roof of the building's surrounded the parking lot stood men and women holding long ranged guns, firing at the intruding monsters.
After a while of shooting, they halted. Down below was a grave yard. Bodies of the plants rested motionless for all the exploit.
The back door of the rover then slid down giving entrance in and out. Bara walked out first and the old follow pursuit after.
The door belonging to the building infront of them was hastily pushed up.
*SLAM*
The door was slammed open. The transparent glass door then slowly enclosed, but still have time for whom wanted to exit so violently.
Out came three armed women and a man in a long white coat. His jet black hair was short, with spiky edges. He wore safety goggles that were rested on his forehead.
[Akira Kuwobasa. The 12th Gem, an retired doctor and former scientist.]
Kuwobasa walked up to the duo in the pouring rain, who stood infront the building waiting for him. He approached them, leaving the armed women to fend the door.
His face showed no emotion as he walked up to them.
"Umm.." The old started to speak to the Kuwobasa, but stopped when he saw him walk pass the two.
"What is he doing?" The old head inquired.
Bara looked at Gramps and glanced at the former scientist and answered, "I don't know."
Kuwobasa turned the corner, walking towards the back of the rover. He kneeled allowing his coat to touch the dirty ground. He reached his hand under the rover and took up a mini toy car which the Akumas were really chasing.
On top of the car was a small glass container, which was implanted into the car. Five holes were punctured on the white cap sealing the container.
He placed his hand on the cap and ripped the container out of the car. Kuwobasa then proceeded to toss away the car over his shoulder.
He approached the duo for the second this time to talk to them. He placed the container his pants pocket were he now rested his right hand.
He told the duo, "Sorry for giving you two a fret. I was just testing a experiment."
The two glared at the man, but then Bara reluctantly said, "No problem."
"That's good there is not hard feels," He said while walking pass them again. "I wouldn't want my comrades have any bad feels against me, would I Daniel?"
The name Daniel was pointed to towards the old man. He rubbed the back of his head while staring at the ground and answered, "Uhh. N-no sir.."
"Good," He eyed to the two before saying, "Come in."
The two men followed him inside, leaving the cold outdoors.
"..."
.
.
.
The heavy rain had finally subsided.
Ken was taking refuge in an building. The place was natural dark, but he had found an candle which was lit.
He sighed looking at his situation he was now in. The rested his full body and the shattered and garbage covered floor.
He looked out the building, to look over the city, which revealed he was high up in the building. He watched the stars and aura like sky.
He closed his eyes to fall asleep.
*THUD!*
The floor of the building suddenly vibrated.
Ken woke up and turned his head to look. What he saw was unusual. It was a cloud of dust rising and seeking the engulf him in dust.
"What the hell is that?" Ken inquired in a fret.
Ezil answered mockingly, "The same filth that lurk and rummage your world. What else could it be Ken?"
Ken started into the abyssal zone of clouds. He peered through the dust, but saw nothing lurking within.
"Is thing the smoke itself?" He wondered.
*Dash*
Suddenly a area of the dust disbursed. A blurry entity dashed towards Ken.
Before it could try do anything, Ken dodged by flinging himself forward.
He ran to the wall and then turned around to look at what he was dealing with.
Stood infront of him was a small creature as small as nine year old child. What seem like it's ear was pointy as an Elf and mouth which was not there. It's boy was wider than a television.
The creature then dashed at Ken again.
He lifted his spear and tossed it at the blurry creature. The Akuma had no time to dodge so it was impaled in the head.
"That wasn't hard," Ken said while patting. "Are their more?"
Ezil answered his question, "Yes, many more."
"Huh?" Ken inquired confused.
Then four areas of the mist disbursed. Four blurry Akumas dashed towards the now unarmed Ken.
"Goddamn it! Why can't I get any peace and quiet?!" Ken dashed to the ground and rolled towards his spear, dodging the Akumas in the process.
He grabbed his spear which was still within the first attacker. Ken had no time to take the Akuma off his weapon so he let it stay.
The four Akuma then dashed at Ken again. Now armed he was ready to fight.
With his improved stats which was granted by Ezil, he was able to see the movement of the creatures.
He easily took out the first with a crescent slash and the second one with a straight stab.
The two which were left, were now leching on Ken's body as they had reached him. He staggered and fell on the ground.
The two attacker then stood and made an eerie noise which paralyzed Ken for a brief moment. They then grew a mouth which extended their head that was wide enough to swallow Ken easily.
Ken took up his spear and stabbed the one on the right in the chest. It then whimpered and fell on the floor. His comrade then tried to swallow Ken by the head. It was intersected by Ken using spear to block his attack. His spear was set upwards so the attack was easily doable.
He grit his teeth at the strain his arms were being put on. The Akuma continued to push his face at the spear soon tearing it's face through the spear.
Soon it's face was ripped in half by it's mindless action. Blood came rushing out of the Akumas head, covering Ken and it's self in a slimy ooze.
"Ugh," Ken scorned. "Ehh, this shit is disgusting!"
Ken slowly got up, scorning the blood on his clothing.
"Guess I'll have to find new clothes tomorrow." He said.
He looked at the cloud of dust which was now slowly disappearing. He then turned his sight and the five Akumas whom are dead.
He saw that their body was degrading into steam. The smell from the steam smelt like blueberries.
Ken covered his nose, believing the smell may be toxic.
Ezil answered his worries, "Don't worry, it isn't going to kill you."
"And other good news is that your friends are coming back for you."
Ken stared down at the ground hearing this.
"Why aren't you excited?" Ezil inquired.
"Actually, I don't know." Ken answered.
Ezil chuckled and said, "You are easily vexed. You think your life is worth saving more their own?"
"No, it's just that.. I fell betrayed." Ken said.
"Kekeke, you shouldn't," Ezil answered. "You didn't even make much of a connection with non of them. And I also know how to actually feel. You're just a selfish prick who thinks his comrades should have saved him instead of their own skins!"
Ken soon got enraged. He clutched his fist and shouted, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!"
"You just can't take the truth about yourself, you prideful prick. Hehehe!" Ezil mockingly said.
"Arghh!" Ken groaned in anger.
This isn't the last that Ezil will torment Ken. A endless cycle of hatred, confusion and misunderstanding. But at the end of their relationship, they will understand each other.
Maybe.
